Hello was making research on Nursing Scholarship in Australia and I saw this your post. Please I have a B.Sc in Geography but I want to switch to Nursing as well. I have been doing my research and I discovered it is possible to switch cos some Univeristies in Australia have Nursing programs for Graduates from other disciplines. E.g I saw one that does M.Sc Nursing (Graduate Entry).

Please how did you do yours and how did you get scholarship. Also i need your advice on my path and how best to go about getting admission in Australia.
I would also like to reach u to ask some questions if u don't mind. My Whatsapp is on my signature below.

Also I see you are searching for funding, look at the picture below. I found them on Instagram. Their office should be in Lagos. You might find them helpful.
Anticipating your reply.

Good evening sorry am just seeing your question been away for sometime now.

Regarding going for Graduate-EntryNursing program with your previous studies in Geography.
I doubt it will be possible getting that but am sure for the 3 years bachelor of Nursing that would be possible but before you embark on it be sure you have ielts Academic atleast 7bands in all.

I know someone I helped to apply for the same Nursing program with 2nd class upper biological science she wasn't given instead was offered the 3 years program.

The scholarship was possible maybe cos of my sop or my previous work experience that I can't tell.

But i know many schools in Australia are offering scholarships to international students if you package your documents well.

Regarding the funding thank you so much, I was able to get help here.
Even though we are still waiting on the school to give us feedbacks on the Gte.

It's been extremely challenging to be honest as I had to re- write ielts where I missed one band to 6.5band.

Wishing you best of luck.

He actually said the bitter truth. Without the insult though.

In a situation like this, your pastor is your best option not a random man on the internet.

If your pastor won't use his own account, he can easily help you get someone to do it for you.

Good morning sir, like i previously said nobody around me or close to me has such, I have been able to see but not the exact amount I was requesting for.

I hope that makes it understandable? Now can we stop bringing about the pastors issues as it's not the pastor paying my tuition neither was it the pastor that gave me the 2 years partial scholarship.

Just like I believe I will get the help am looking for whether online or offline so far I was open to my challenges not being depressed.

Thank you and do have a splendid day.

Go to your pastor and ask him to give you his statement of account. Pastors have lots of money from all the tithes dey steal from gullible idiots. After the pastor has given you his statement, use that 100k to sow a seed in his ministry. Just an advice.

I don tell you true but you won’t listen. We are audio millionaires here and we sef dey feel the same poverty you are feeling but we use NL audio wealth and billions to console ourselves. Stop wasting your time here my friend. If your family and pastor won’t help, then just go like that and hope for a miracle. Miracles still happen.

First and foremost thank u for implying that millionaires and maybe billionaires grace this thread

2.) u seem not to understand the weight of ur request, many of us here are averse to even our wives seeing our account balance not to talk of a handing a total stranger ur bank statement........ Seriously, I want to believe Oyedepo laid hands on u cos ur request bold gan

3.) Do unto others what u do to urself. As a true Nigerian can u release ur bank statement to someone u have no personal relationship with other than brief meetings on social platforms........

4.) my dear calm down, use this energy well off line, the fact that u have paid part of ur tuition means u or ur family is probably well to do....... Getting a statement of that magnitude is not beyond ur circle, do whatever it would take offline to achieve ur dreams even if it means kissing ass.

The scholarship wasn't awarded to him based on some factors 60 candidates were needed for the admission, i am sure some other graduates just like I did from other developing countries would have also applied for it.

From what I reasearched it's better to go to Vietnam on tourist visa then search for teaching jobs than searching from Nigeria they are more willing to take applicants on ground, you can even apply to schools when you get there and change status to student permit if you get a school that admits you.
Pls share your brother here the name of the uni you and your brother applied too o abed

She has given us update so far unless you want her to come everyday and post what she just ate or how she brush her teeth. I guess she must be settling into her new job and apartment. Any new update she will surly share with us.

For now, lets share our research findings and ask her questions where necessary.

For me, FPT University gave me admission and I have 1 month to pay the tuition fee na the matter I dey try settle oh, lol. No money to pay but God no go shame us.

I have my uni statement of result available do you think it's advisable to go ahead with authenticating the university statement of result or must i use my certificate? The process getting that one is my school is long.

MY JOURNEY SO FAR

Hello, how has the research and every every been? I have a little update for us specifically on my own moves.

I wish to In a special way appreciate @WhyNa for creating this thread and sharing her journey oth us.

Just as she said earlier, there are many ways to enter Vietnam and we know many people will discover many routes. The fact that you are reading this could be a sign that you want to travel therefore I encourage everybody to share their experiences or successes so far.

I want to share on the study route, for those who want to enter Vietnam through study route. I have made some little progress on this regard.

My own research started with finding good but cheap countries I could study In and work and stay back after my study to work. The first place I found was North Cyprus, it was actually cheap but my findings showed that WORK NO DEY THERE OH, NA SUFFER THINGS. I was wise enough to move on. I came across India again and ran away fast because I have researched them some few year back, it's very cheap but no work even for their people talk less of Nigerians and they don't like us.

Finally, I came to Vietnam. My findings was cool, I some some schools and applied while waiting for them, my research brought me to this thread. I focused my energy on trying to enter Vietnam through the work permit route of which @WhyNa's posts and updates have been of great blessing. In May, one of the schools got back to me and that was FPT university in Hanoi its a university that deals more on IT and business courses. I asked them about the visa and everything. They will prepare the visa for you while you get the Visa Stamp at the Vietnamese embassy Abuja.

I asked how much is The visa stamp they said they don't really know that I should contact the embassy. When I contacted the embassy, they said it varies depending on the type of student visa but that it's between 200 to 300 dollar.

Now, this process is very easy and you don't need to ask much questions and you don't need an agent.

1. Research top universities in Vietnam.
2. Get their admission office WhatsApp number. This guys are very helpful through their whatsapp, ask any questions. I always tell the person handling the FPT university admission WhatsApp number that am sorry for my to many questions and he/she will always tell me dont worry just ask.
3. Ask about their support systems. FPT university for example, helps with airport pick up, helps to get accomodation, help you get a part time job at most in 3 months after you arrive Vietnam.
4. Apply and ask if their are scholarship oppourtinties available. Due to this corona virus pandemic effect on the economy, Vietnam education industry dey find student and they are likely to give out discounts just as is happening in North cyprus now. So, if you don't ask they might not tell you.
5. Arrange soft copies of your documents and send to their mail then await their admission/Scholarship report. Note: No school will give you full scholarship, you can only get discounts and trust me their tuition fees are relatively cheap.
6. Make payment and they will start working on your visa which should take not more than a month.

Concerning coming to Vietnam, my school said they are working with their immigration department to make sure they allow international students and professors to enter the country when they open the borders hopefully by July ending so please confirm from your school before making payment. Me I never pay tuition few, I still dey hustle he money but once am ready to pay, I will reconfirm from the school because I need to be sure if I pay Now, I should come over before September.

Also, I don't know of other university but for my school, you get 1 year temporal residence to enable you get a job after your graduation. This to me is cool.

Finally, this process is very easy, you don't need to ask many questions or send me a mail or look for agent as long as study route is concerned, just get the school and the course of your choice, send them mail or chat their WhatsApp number and they will take it up from their.
Their Bsc it 3 years or 4 years those that are 3 years do 3 semesters per year while those that are 4 years do 2 semesters per year.
Masters is 2 years.
Most of the schools are also affiliated to universities in UK, US, Australia

I wish all luck, if any other person is making progress through another route please share too for those who might be interested.

Udo diri anyi.

Perhaps you should consider alternative countries. I think Canada should be cheaper than Australia?? Since you have a BSc, you are young and in the medical field your points will be high. Then when you get there you can work and apply for scholarship. Life is not fair. I understand how painful it is to know that finance is the only thing preventing you from achieving your dreams. E dey pain die. You will start having existential crisis. And in life unfortunately there is no free lunch even in Freetown. It is hard for people to help who they know not to talk of someone they don't know. But there is nothing God cannot do. He makes a way where there is no way. Dear sir,

Thank you so much for offering to help with the way you can, I was fortunate to apply for Canada visa sometime in 2017 a travel agent assisted and helped me package the statement of account of 25mil was refused based on travel history and finance I didn't pay tuition I just applied reasons why I had to create to create that thread.

Now on the refusal letter the V.O specified I should re-apply and also state the reason for the program despite my work-experience.

1. In Australia I have so many job options for my discipline than Canada.

2.In Australia switching to my dream course program Is easier, there is no way I would get 2 year Graduate entry nurse in canada program with the influx of people trying to move there.

3. There are many job opportunities in Australia with my occupation that can get me PR,
No way if I move and go to the 2 employers I lost their jobs cos I was offshore the won't consider giving me an offer.

I solicited for a part fee which I would start paying 6months after my arrival,I lost 2 jobs that could get me PR cos I wasn't fortunate to be there back then, making this move won't be something anyone helping me, neither my loved one will regret.

So sorry if bothered you sir just wanted to clarify I aappreciate your time.

Agreed. I also thought about it and the following questions came up.

1. What if she gets there and refuses to pay up and the guarantors obviously can't pay? I have no time for endless litigations.

2. What if she actually starts paying and gets deported back to Nigeria?

3. God forbid, but what if she loses her life?

Infact, this is why I never engage in these work place thrift where people pay money at the end of the month and take turns to collect. Someone who has collected may die before I collect mine.

Her best bet is to source for the funds from people who personally know her or she remains here in Nigeria and hustle her way out.

As bad as the country is, people are still schooling here and making it upon graduation.

I can't proceed with anything untill my COE is issued to me that can only be sent when I pay the
3mil part tuition.

Nursing is a lucrative course I can do to pay my other bills while studying, Am also a pharmcy Technician here also have other side skilled work to keep me busy.

I would start with the refunds 6months after my arrival this would have to be on a signed paper which any of my loved ones can stand as my guarantor.

Am so eager with my vision I know there's a brighter future in me if I make this bold move.

All am seeking is for help, granting me this loan this should be something i would be thankful for not something my investor should regret.
