Well done, you've taking the 1st step by putting together your ingredients. I'll suggest you ditch the cheese. Cheese stops some people from losing weight on the Egg Fast and in general. Or it can just minimize the weight you lose. If you want something different to keep you sane, go for Calorie Free Soda and Sugar Free Gum.

Yes am back to work but still drop in several times daily but just not as much as before. Am here for you, just let me know once you start so that I can Egg you on. May you lose Eggcellently. Am planning on an Egg Fast by next week Tuesday. I would've started Monday but have a sendforth lunch but am just keeping to zero carb which is all edibles from the animal kingdom.
Thanks dear, I'll sure dash DH the cheese lol. Starting tomorrow evening. Will give a general update on everything. Thanks

Pray we all attain our desired weight soon.

Lol. I tried it the first time because I was desperate to lose weight and I love experimenting on weight loss things that I feel will work and catch my fancy. I also succeeded because I did it with a friend and we were accountability buddies. The subsequent ones I did each time I got desperate to lose weight, maintain or just to detox my system. The last time I did it was Dec - Jan 2014. I've since lost the will to do it again because I've discovered easier ways.

I'll suggest you go the route of healthy eating with portion control. You might lose slowly but very surely. The 2 free sample diet menu's on www.africanweightloss.com works. I lost good weight on them. Good thing is that it's based on 9ja foods unlike the numerous food plans on the internet that contains Western food that is not readily available here.

Let me know whichever approach you adopt so that I can support you and possibly stand as your accountability buddy. Take care.
Thanks dear,I'll take the portion control for now and do the Egg Fast Diet from the 25th bc I'll be on vacation for a week then. Considering portion control pls give me some examples of nice delicacies that r balanced. I take my last meal 6pm at the latest. Don't know my weight :funny huh lol but my BMI is obesed (I don't look it at all ,its 32).My doctor told me that.I'll try to weigh and let u know. Glad u offer to be my buddy, I'll give accounts. #BMI 29 max by june#

The Master Cleanse / Lemonade Diet works like a charm but can be very difficult to do and stick to. You can have phases .
I no fit, that diet mmmmmm it's not easy at all just from reading it. But #I'm determined# if I can't withstand 5 days then I'd quit. I no go lie. Thanks dear,God bless.

Thanks for commending the plan. Your suggestion is also a good one but is only needed to be incorporated into the person's way of eating after the Egg Fast Diet. The Egg Fast Diet is exclusively done meaning that while on it, you don't eat any other thing. Most people do the Egg Fast for 3-5days and then switch to Low Carb, High Protein, High Fat which is where your recommendation will be useful.

I did the Egg Fast for 10days each time before resting and always lost 4-5kg each time. I ended up losing 14kg on three 10day Egg fasts which I did over 4months. On the Facebook support page, Egg Fasters report more loss. Am a very slow loser because I have Hormonal Imbalance, PCOS and have messed up my system with several weight loss supplements and various fad diets. Also we all have different body systems and will lose weight at different rates. My key advice to people is while embarking on special diets to quickly lose weight, make sure to put healthy eating routine/plan in place to help you maintain your loss and even continue loosing slowly but surely.

And yes you can lose even more than 7kg in 1 or 2 weeks. Whether it's healthy and ease of doing is another matter. I've done the Lemon Cleanse / Lemonade Diet made popular by Beyonce at some point even though it's being around for ages. On the Lemon Cleanse, you lose an average of 1kg per day, 7kg per week and 14kg in 2 weeks. I did it for 10days the first time I tried it and lost 10kg but guess what, I went back to my ice cream, bread, biscuits, chin chin and pop corn to mention a few of my favorite daily munchings and gained it all back plus more. The key after every crash diet is to go on to healthy eating and living.
@fvine, could you please throw more light on the lemonade diet. I would like to try it but don't know what it takes like: do I eat other food types during this diet or what kind of foods can I eat? If u could please give an overall summary of the dietime I'd appreciate.I have to loose a minimum of 10kg. Sorry ladies, I apologize for coming into this forum for my first time by asking info, I hope I'm welcomed.

TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by henmaris: 7:38pm On Jul 17, 2015
Hello everyone,
Its a month today since I arrived Canada and would like to share my observation/experience so far.Canada is a very nice country with friendly people.I'm based in Edmonton;for those of u whose destination is Edmonton, the first and smartest possible tip of getting a survival job on arrival is obtaining a first aid certificate as soon as u get here. Its a 2days course and I did that just 3days after arriving Canada and got a job 2 weeks later. Its an asset for most jobs. There are public libraries in the cities. As a beginner if u don't yet have internet connection at home you can always go to the library to browse and apply for jobs.U apply for most jobs online and are called up for an interview if u meet their requirements.U can also walk into some offices and submit your resume.
Regarding housing, houses are quite expensive especially looking at it as a new immigrant who just relocated without a job yet but the good news is bills are inclusive in the rents except electricity and its quite easy getting a survival job which u can earn up to to 18$an hour.I got an apartment two weeks after arriving.U can get an apartment between 750-900$ (1 bedroom).
Cost of living is very expensive so as soon as u arrive its necessary to learn how to shop wisely. At the start get the basics and with time u will live the kind of life u want after all Canada is a country without limitations and u can pursue your highest dream for as long as u stay focus and are smart enough to follow ur dreams. There is no discrimination,it may exist but its minimal and u r hired as long as u qualify for a job.

In fact, for everyone still in the waiting process, I wish u all the best, patience is the key and u will definitely get your hearts desire soonest. For those of u who will be coming to Edmonton, should u need any advice u can always pm me and I'll gladly help.
Best of luck to FSW APPLICANTS AND THOSE IN THE EXPRESS ENTRY POOL.
Good day

Congratulations dear and wish u a stress free 9months. Please got a question, did u take baby aspirin in your previous failed cycles or the baby aspirin is the difference u made in your success cycle. My RE wouldn't prescribe baby aspirin for me saying it causes heavy bleeding and I've not been diagnosed of any immunological disfunction that can prevent implantation.
@ bros inwangobio I tap from your blessing, your testimony keeps me positive. Thanks for staying on to encourage us.

Hi ladies, this is actually my first post on nairaland.. Am about to start my ivf cycle but will like to know if I need to be on contraceptive for 3 weeks and why. My doctor asked me to so I just wanted to get a 2nd opinion from you all. I will appreciate your response. Thanks.

The pills helps to prevent the occurrence of cyst which can jeopardise the process.it also ensures that all your follicles starts growing from same level during stimulation since it helps shut down your cycle .Additionally it helps the doctor to be in control of your system hence ensuring correct timing of the whole process. However, the BCP should be overlapped with a GnRHa for about 4 to 6 days before stimulation so the BCP does not compromise or suppress the ovaries respond to stimulation . I understand your worry,u feel 3 weeks will delay your conception but remember more haste less speed.it's better to be patient now than to weep at the end.Follow your doctors advise,he knows better though you Mau trust your instincts at times. Most often everyone takes the pill a cycle prior to the ivf treatment.

Please is it possible to do both ICIS and IVF together.
Please for those who have done ivf sucessfully ,please can you tell me which ivf hospital has the success rate and what you did dat you had a bfp.
Plsease I am also intrested in the ebooks
God bless us and God answer our prayers.

The only difference between icsi and ivf is that in icsi a single sperm is injected into each egg to achieve fertilization while in conventional ivf a quantity of sperm is put together with an egg in an incubator an allowed to fertilize. ICSI is mostly used when there is a male factor issue and its advantageous bc it achieves higher rates of fertilization.it somehow serves as assisted hatching since a needle is injected via the eggwall. However icsi is a little more expensive than ivf. So u can choose either conventional ivf or icsi. Good luck my dear.it is well

I am almost at my wits end mummies in d house! Please, does anyone know about endometriosis? Doctors jst look at me and shake their heads. They say its difficult to manage. One even told me to use donor eggs even though my AMH is good. Does anyone know a good gynaecologist i can meet? Please, i need all d help i can get. I have done several tests, iui, nothing works. No ovulation for over a year now. Tubes r patent but cysts on both ovaries. Cyst enlarge wen i try stimulation. Has anyone out there experienced such? Pls,wat did u do abt it?
my dear we are in same pot of soup.was diagnosed of endometriosis stage 3 last year July.developed a cyst on the right ovary after stimulating for ivf in November, however I did not go via with the ivf. Right now I'm trying natural methods to relieve the endometriosis pain and reduce adhesion and maybe shrink the cyst while ttc naturally. For one month now I've been taking Apple cider vinegar every day,2teaspoons in warm water morning and evenings. Massaging my abdomen gently (husband helps with this) with castor oil every other day and placing warm water bottle/pad on it after massage to allow maximum penetration of the castor oil(stop this around ovulation because the heat may harm the eggs). I also take cord liver oil (fermented cord liver oil is preferable). I read that all these may lesson endometriosis adhesion and shrink any cyst/fibriod and unblock fallopian tubes. I think it helps bc I had no pain with af this month which is unusual.Going in for an MRI scan on Wednesday so I will find out any improvement at all.
Endometriosis hurts but everything will be ok by God's grace.Fertility blessings my dear
HealthRe: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by henmaris: 7:51pm On Feb 27, 2015
Hello doc,I had a laparoscopy in July 2014 and was diagnosed of stage 3 endometriosis. I was given decapeptyl monthly injection for 3months.did ivf in November which was cancelled on the day of egg retrieval due to high fever (temperature 40) so I had a follow-up appointment with a RE.He prescribed the pill Lutenyl and asked me to start taking it on the first day of my period.I took it from ending November to December 31st.I waited for my period for 26 days and took parsley tea for 2days which triggered my period to come on the 29th of January.I went for a blood test on the 3rd day of my period in other to begin ivf no 2.But RE said I couldn't begin because my oestrogen was high.I had an appointment with him on the 4th of February and he did an ultrasound and found a cyst in my right ovary and 2myoma in the walls of the uterus.he said location of the myomas is not a call for concern. So he sent me for an MRI scan in other to know what to do before I can begin ivf again. My problem is I was expecting my period on Monday 23 feb but up to date it has not come.I had light cramping on the 23rd and nothing since then.haven't tested for pregnancy bc it's early to test but I'm afraid it might just be another delayed period because I feel very normal.prior to laparoscopy and all the above treatment I've always had a very stable cycle.25 days and I always know the exact date to expect my period. Please if it's a delayed period again what could be the cause of the sudden irregularity in my period. I have an appointment for the MRI scan next week.just so worried because I want a baby so bad.I'm 25 ttc now for a year.had a miscarriage in December 2012. SORRY FOR THE LONG POST.I HOPE TO GET A RESPONSE FROM YOU.THANK YOU

Afterall the "big heart" diagnosis,it shows you have nothing serious to worry about. I would still advice you go do the appropriate medical examination, you might need to take some steps to correct whatever dysfunction there is {IF THERE REALLY IS ONE}.

Oh God its getting tougher on me oh,please come to my rescue. My sister's please pray for me,I'm stressed up.Different situations everyday. From laparoscopy which diagnosed endometriosis to cancelled ivf due to high fever ,then no AF for four weeks after taking the pills and today doc said my abdomen is messed up.right ovary attached to the womb, big cyst on the ovary and two myoma in my womb. Now no more ivf till after a radiology to see my womb and ovaries thoroughly then possible surgery again to clean me up.
I've never been this worried since I started this journey.I've cried my life out since I left docs office today I have no tears left. If my mom and mom in law could lift this burden they would have move mountains for me but they are as tight as I am.
Pray for me please,God I'm looking up to u,be my strength.

Hi everyone, I'm grateful to God that I stumbled upon this thread today. I got my Af late yday night and confirmed this early morning, cried for at least 2hrs dis early morning which is usually the trend now for some months since I have been tying to conceive for a year now naturally. I feel much better now haven come across this post hearing success stories of some and words of encouragement and suggestions from others and to know there are people like me ttc. I know mine is short compared to ppl that have been ttc for a long time.
Anyway, I pray and believe God will grant us all our heart desires.

I'm new to this so have been taking notes on all that have been said on d ivf and others. Will discuss with my DH who have been supportive all these while. Will keep u updated and hope to get your support and advice.

Happy to meet u Ladies. God bless.

Good morning everyone, please help me to clarify this if u can. I did my medical on the 26th of January and the doc said I have a "big heart" as seen on the xray but said I don't need any further test unless cic ask which he can't tell if they will. I've never had any cardiac problems neither have I ever been sick of any serious disease. All my other tests were perfect.I'm just confused and tensed because I don't know what cic will do.I just hope it won't be and issue because I don't feel any pain,if not of the xray I wouldn't even know of the problem. I've made and appointment with a cardiologist for check up to rule out anything in case cic ask for further testing.please has any one ever had such a case or what do you think may be the outcome?
