Thank God with me brethren, my TRV was approved today. This dream started when I discovered this travel section in my 300l, then my cumulative was 3.42(second class lower) I found out that I can't get admission into most Msc programs in Canada with a 2.2. In my last two years in school, I worked very hard and finally graduated with 3.58 ( second class upper).

I saved up my NYSC alawee for 2-3 months and applied to UBC and university of Regina. I was accepted by the latter around June this year.


Applied on 23 September (paper route)
Called for medical on 24 November
Medical test done on 28 November
Medical passed on 1st December
Application approved on 6th December
First application + Virgin passport

I just got approval mail after having a short nap. To be sincere, I have been a little bit depressed due to the long wait and was almost giving up, but I summoned courage and sent an email to CIC yesterday. I got a reply that my app is in queue pending processing.
I am so so happy that I didn't trust Baba God for nothing, so I return all glory and praise to him.

App Timeline:
Submitted: 12 August 2016, paper route, MEng
Medical Call: 16 Sept 2016 (Did upfront, but still got a mail from CIC, so i went to the clinic to report my case and result was forwarded to them)
Medical passed: 26 Sept 2016
Waiting and Praying: 26 Sept to 22 Nov 2016(and suddenly had a nap after eating baked beans)
Approval Mail: 22 Nov 2016 (after waking from nap)

Let me celebrate small, will come back to share the docs I submitted.

Sorry for replying a bit late, it depends on your school tuition, I think room and Board should be 10k, plus about 5k. Add these to your tuition and sum up.

@henrinco pls when did u and what did u apply for @ mun. I applied for masters in civil eng against 2017 when should i be expecting the admission letter.

I applied last year oh! Mail the secretary of your department to know when the admission will be out. Also check your MUN account frequently.once you see decision made* mail them for soft copy of your admission letter.

wow! I never knew pple could defer admission even without having applied for visa, i thought admission could only be deferred based on visa rejection and one would need to provide proof.
Is this peculiar to MUN alone or can i defer my admission to any canadian sch to the next intake just because i want to defer it?

My dear the reason I gave them was that Visa processing time in Nigeria from CIC website is 16weeks. Meanwhile I got my admission letter in my email on 28th october to start 5th jan.. If your reason is cogent school will defer your admission.

I got email from the faculty Secretary yesterday... They defered my admission to Fall 2017/2018 saying no class for spring.
When is the best time to apply for visa?
I want to do online app as well... MUN here I come!!
