Church is boring to me now, I find it hard to stay awake in church. I went to church today after a longtime and I found it extremely boring, I had to start using my phone to save my life.

i've come to understand that there are quite a number of reasons why different people do the same thing in life. religious gatherings are not left out. careful observations in church and the stories people tell most times shows that different people are in church for different reasons and some of which includes

1. ASSEMBLING OF THE BRETHREN
very few people are always known for doing things with the right motive. this is d biblical essence of the christian gathering meant to exhort one another. but unfortunstely very few people fall into this category.

2. FOR FORMALITIES.
Honestly, these set of people will always have the highest number in every christian gathering. a lot of people go to church because others are going and it's expected of them as christians by religion. they lack personal relationship with God and sometimes boast of their church like it's a football club...lol

3. SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS
A lot fall in neither of the first two categories but attend church services once in a while especially when challenges arise. not many people want to have a personal relationship with God, but everyone trust him for solutions to their problems.

4. SHOW-OFF
No doubt, such gatherings with so many people is avenue for people to show their expensive cars, gadgets, clothes and all kinds of accessories. it's been happenin and still happens. especially when they are newly aquired. and when the chips are down, or probably failure to update the wardrobe, they are nowhere to be found.

5. TO CHARGE PHONES AND OTHER GADGETS
This really sounds weird but i've seen it happen on several occassions. especially in areas where power is in absolutely short or no supply at all. these set of people love to sit close to the wall sockets and are conscious of every happenings around them for the safety of their devices.

probably, there are some reasons i didn't mention but
whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well. if you have to go to church, it should be for the right reason.

As a prospective corp member, too many questions run through my mind on a daily basis considering the fact that i will be going to a place i had probably not been to. one question that has gradually taken the lead is the issue of allowance. once heard the corpers allowance was going to be raised but currently don't see it happening. Any useful information will be appreciated especially from senior colleagues..thanks. #TEAMA15
