ODJ124: I commend FG for the Ban.... U delete the twit of the number citizen of a country.. They thought its the US they do anyhow..
More traffic for Nairaland..
Thread seen.. Bros that because US run a democratic government where the opinions of citizens count. "THE NUMBER ONE CITIZEN".That doesn't mean anything because in a sane country if he commits any crime,he is also meant to be punished like every other citizens in the country. This is because Nigeria is supposed to be under the democratic system and not like the oligarchy e.g the queen Elizabeth where she can get away with anything she does. |

Buhari has a personal issue with twitter because his tweets had a dictatorial tone and if lots of Nigerians see it, it could cause more agitation and anger in the country, he doesn't have to drag the whole country into this through the ban. |

Mikecold: Hope you guys all get your VPN ready
Facebook would be going down too along with Instagram
For jihad to be effective it is necessary to isolate from the outside world which they have started
Lastly they may present Adamumu Garba as the "home social media" for Nigerians, don't sign up to it because Adamu has configured it to get your details and relay back to them for arrest and killing Swears, this was just an avenue to prevent Nigerians to stop using international media because of the freedom and start using croww by adamu Garba which is just a compilation of twitter,Instagram and Facebook. Me sef I follow and give negative comment and flag the app as inappropriate. |

uptimumOne23: A step in the right direction... Social media has become a tool for creation of fake news that ends up leading to anarchy.
It's a tool setup by the western world to disrupt any progress being made in our country.
I stand with the Federal Government on this Guy do you know a lot of people who have their business on Twitter,do you know the number of people who go to Twitter just for the savagery humours to remove the anger and bitterness they have because of the latest state of the country.Jusy because buhari tweets were taken down doesn't mean it has to be banned. If he had obeyed their rules his tweets would not have been taken down. I will still go on and use my VPN because no illiterates jangbaweeds smoking fellows can prevent me from doing so. |

thebosstrevor1: This is copied from wiki.
Frederick Forsyth describes the use of the flying Ogbunigwe against an attack by the Nigerian army 1st division in 1969 as follows:
It spread death and destruction over a large area, and as usual the first division (...) were advancing in solid phalanxes of packed soldiery. An American who examined the scene afterwards estimated that, out of 6000 men who took part in the attack, 4000 failed to return.[3] You still haven't answered my question.WHICH REGIONS WERE AFFECTED.Enough of the history lessons which was not even written by those who were present as of the time of the civil war. |

thebosstrevor1: Most of the people who fought during the war were recruited into the biafra army.
And the wars were fought in the bushes, mostly in the country side.
The losing side then to exaggerate events for sympathy What then happened to those citizens who starved to death. You say those wars were fought in the bushes that is very wrong because the Nigerian government did not like the agenda of Biafra and then decided to also make the people suffer. |

Not that I support Biafra but they both have different aims, Biafra is to gain independence from this shithole called Nigeria while Boko Haram is to force people share the same beliefs as them. |
