PoliticsRe: Tinubu's Identity: Cute Abiola Late Father's Picture & More Controversy Emerging by HenryWilliams(m): 7:02pm On Jan 12
ogaemma:
Everything about him is fake.
All his Bossom friends including the Famous Baba Ijebu are all in their 80's, whereas Oga claim to be in his 70.
Nobody knows his village or biological father or mother.
Only God knows if he is not a ghost
His lineage in Iragbiji is known.
His father and mother were known.
He left his village and went to Lagos to reinvent himself back in the 60s, he met up with late Iyaloja Tinubu who adopted him and thereafter took up her late daughter's name Bola Tinubu in order to take advantage of her admission to Chicago State University.
After that, we all know about the Boy Chicago and drug scandal only for him to run back to Lagos to enter politics. And the rest is history
He never attended his parents burials as that would expose the lie.
Such a shame.

FoodRe: Cost Of 1kg Chicken In Nigeria Vs Other Countries by HenryWilliams(m): 6:33pm On Jan 09
richiemcgold post=138076865:
Frozen chicken and turkey were very cheap many years ago.
The price began to rise after Obasanjo imposed ban on importation of poultry products. If the ban is lifted today, the price will surely drop; just as it happened with rice.
A kilo of turkey wings was N150 back in 2002-4.
Chicken was damn cheap.
We bought fish and shrimp by the basket load.
Bag of rice was 5k back then.
Maladministration spoilt this country.

Gosh.
It's clear why the man/men left her with luggage.
Just by hearing the voice, you can immediately tell her character.
These kids will definitely be rude and disrespectful having taken their mom's attitude.
I wish her well

Foreign AffairsRe: Trump Says Venezuela To Purchase Only America Made Product by HenryWilliams(m): 12:05pm On Jan 08
After taking over and colonizing Venezuela, their next target is Panama then Columbia using the same ol drugs excuse.
They're already fixated on Greenland.
They will take it by force and nothing NATO can do about it.
Y'all came Africa over a 100 years ago and partitioned it like it was birthday cake. Now the same shite is being done to you.. you'll shouting and threatening.
All I know is, all this madness will end in 2028 when the orange man leaves office. By then a lot of damage would have been done to US credibility

PoliticsRe: South May Break Away From Nigeria As U.s. Forces Move To Occupy The North – Dias by HenryWilliams(m): 4:54pm On Jan 06
lilsmart:
Truth be told, Nigeria no go break, I swear.
How e go break? See all di intermarriage wey don happen up and down, na one big family. Your mama from East, your papa from North, your pikin dey marry from West connections don tayad! Na only small group of people dey shout "breakup" for microphone, but inside street, market, and church, millions of us dey mingled and ready for one Nigeria. We don pass through many tins, and togetherness don already.
All that is stories
Yugoslavia had the same scenario
Czechoslovakia had the same scenario.
South Sudan had the same scenario
Inter tribal marriages and connections can't stop a country from fracturing when it's time.
To me your post reeks of desperation and a wasted effort in poorly disguised unity drive.
When it's time for Nigeria to answer the question, it will be answered.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Should Prepare For Crash In Oil Price by HenryWilliams(m): 5:56pm On Jan 04
Aww
chicfarmer:
You're not entirely correct. Us is still one of the biggest buyers of international crude. If they have access to cheap crude in Venezuela, this will affect global demand. A weakening of global oil demand will bring prices down.

So for Nigeria, while falling crude prices will put pressure on government revenue, on the flip side, prices of petroleum products will also fall leading to some relief for the common man.

Overall let's continue to observe as things unfold.
We both know this will not happen.
PoliticsRe: BIAFRA TWENTY POUND LIE BUSTED by HenryWilliams(m): 6:24pm On Jan 02
Look
aribisala0:
This is a lie
A blatant lie
Twenty pounds policy
HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH BANK ACCOUNT

Government exchanged Biafra pounds. NO MATTER THE AMOUNT for twenty pounds per person
No person got more than 20 pounds. This. Was a gift there was no obligation to give them this money

Those who had their documents got their money from their banks
However some claimed to have lost them due to war

This was BETWEEN THEM AND THE BANKS
Government tried to help but could not compel banks to give money to people who could not provide their claims
No one has compiled a number of how many such people there were

My challenge to you is this Name one Igbo man
Just one

Of prominence who has made this claim about seized bank deposit
E.g Chinua Achebe, Ojukwu or any other person AND HOW MUCH MONEY WAS SEIZED

Second challenge
Show us one

Just One photocopy or photograph of any bank documents where any person ,ANY PERSON, claimed he showed his bank statement
And this is the passbook and I was denied my money.
For a people who like to play victims if these claims are true there would be thousands of documents on the Internet

Yet NOT ONE EXISTS. NOT ONE

Third challenge BIafra covered what is now Rivers Bayelsa Cross River and Bayelsa
How were they affected by the Twety pound policy in the way you have framed it, assuming it happened the way you claimed?
Or were only Igbos affected?
Were Ikwerres affected ?Ijaws?Efik?
Show us one just one Ijaw Efik Ikwerre that has come out to saythey were affected and how much they lost

How were Igbos identified and separated from Ikwerres , Delta Igbos, Efik Ijaws , and so on?
Final challenge
Bring evidence of any person any one that came out to say
A SPECIFIC AMOUNT
E.G I had five hundred pounds or 200 pounds in my bank , here are the documents, I produced them but I was denied my money

The truth is there were not that many banks in Nigeria then

, in 1967 there were 15 commercial banks operating in Nigeria with a total of 253 branches.
The whole country

Many kids today have no image what Nigeria as a whole looked like then

There was NO SINGLE EXPRESS ROAD IN NIGERIA

NOT ONE

BANKING WAS NOT WIDESPREAD

Very few banks existed and not many people used them
MOST Ibos withdrew their money and took it to Biafra
They. CHANGED THEIR MONEY FOR BIAFRA POUNDS. OJUKWU TOOK THEIR MONEY TO USE FOR WAR

AFTER THE WAR THEY EXPECTED NIGERIA TO EXCHANGE THEIR NOW USELESS BIAFRAN POUNDS AT PARITY
1 TO 1

NIGERIA REFUSED AND THAT IS WHY PEOPLE FELT BITTER

But you cannot eat your akpu and still have it

Who was supposed to pay for that bonanza?
This part really rankles me.
Imagine the gall, the arrogance.
You people broke off, declared war and was ultimately defeated.
Rather than humbly accept whatever you're given, you wanted compensation for self inflicted damages.
I'm even angry FG gave them anything.
Rivers people did well by seizing all their properties.
Lagos messed up by their action of returning their properties and even opening up their space for them to immigrate and market. See the end result.
PoliticsRe: Gombe Mosques, Churches Resist Prepaid Billing – Jos DISCO by HenryWilliams(m): 9:03am On Dec 30, 2025
This is the real reason why they're refusing.
How can you just claim churches and mosques are high demand locations? Have you seen a typical church in Gombe? How many days in a week do they operate?
You want to force them on Band A after installation of Prepaid meter. They saw through the charade and resisted the impending exploitation.
Go and find out where the leak is coming from and stop chasing shadows.

Foreign AffairsRe: China Announces Major Military Drills Around Taiwan by HenryWilliams(m): 11:21am On Dec 29, 2025
Taiwan is part of the Chinese Territory.
However they govern themselves as an independent tho not fully independent as the US bankrolls their security.
China will take back all their territories under the influence of the West.
Let me see US go to war with China over Taiwan, defense pact or not.
The most they'll do is send them arms and ammunition plus intelligence reports That's it.
Nothing more

I'm old enough to recall that there used to be the barriers he referred to, and they worked. That was in the 1980s.

The downfall of our railways meant the end of the barriers sadly. Looks like they haven't been fixed back

Oh and the barriers covered the whole length of the road. No car could cross them unless they smashed through them
We had those barriers at the Tejuosho and Oyingbo crossings back then in Ebute Metta. There was a shrill alarm whenever a train approaches and the gates would automatically close and open when the trains passes. It was fun watching them work.
Sadly Nigerian Factor entered everything. Zero maintenance. From automated train barriers, NRC employed old men with red flags to man the crossings. That helped a bit until they sacked the old men and left the crossings unmanned. Since then, there's been a spike in train-vehicle incidents and accidents.
Car TalkRe: How Nigerian Drivers Destroy Their Car Engines Without Knowing It by HenryWilliams(m): 12:22pm On Dec 23, 2025

Sincere question here - do you think modern engines still need the warm up?
I thought that was an issue with older cars
yes it was back in the day.
nowadays it has little or no impact on modern cars, however if you have the time, allow the car reach idling rpm before moving.

Rather than allow hardworking responsible Black African Christians to emigrate and make positive contributions, they'd rather open the gates to radicalized Arabs and Muslims just to look politically correct. This is the end result of it.
I hope they enjoy the Arab conquest of their lands.
