athaboi:
it is highly capital intensive with a very huge loss...discos cannot recover energy given bcoz there's meter bypass and they are meant to pay for every energy given to them! And government has not sold it to anyone, they still have a stake making it difficult for anyone to fully take responsibility. So investors are only interested in the profit they will make and not to improve the system bcoz it doesn't belong to them. They know that fg will collect it one day so they don't bother investing in it, just to make profit for he main time and move on. They should do proper privatization after cleaning the mess in distribution companies

What they lose in meter bypass, they gain 10x in estimated billings..

Artbydris:

Is diesel not a fuel? Besides, reduced diesel price would force down the prices of commodities due to lower production and freight costs.

It won't force down anything.
Nigerians are naturally greedy.
Exploitation of any condition is our specialty.
Even if diesel goes back to N100/L
Prices of goods/items won't reduce.
They'll call it "old stock"

Let they wear suits and see ther appearances. Look at palestinians who put on western dresses. Look at europeans who act as arabs in films. No difference. It is the beard and dressing that distinguish them.

Why are you embarrassing yourself?
Arab and Europeans look nothing alike..
That fair skin you see is due to centuries of interbreeding with whites..
Real Arabs are brownish with swarthy skin and curled hair.. black or brown eyes..
Europeans are lanky with long strands of hair
Blue, green eyes are common.

Israel isn’t God’s own people just for talk. By now , even non believers should know this fact.

A people so stubborn that Even God acknowledged that these guys have stony hearts..

The have been dealing with these reckless brothers of theirs for centuries and it ain’t gona stop till Jesus returns ..

The Jews control the world… they control the deep state of America.

Fun facts: did you know Google and Facebook owners are all Jewish ? cheesy

If I list Jewish mega companies and banks running the US, you will pee in your panties .

IDF is the 4th strongest military in the world, having more than 400 nuclear warheads.

They can turn the entire Iran to a radioactive dust within 5 mins.

And you think Iran will just sit back and allow?
This misconception that Iran is child's play compared to Israel is really hurting to watch.
Iran is a regional power with arsenal and manpower to boot.
Was it not a week ago , iran sent 300+ rockets, drones to Israel..drones that fly about 180km/hr.. drones that took over 2+ hours to get there .an operation that was widely circulated 72hrs before commencing..despite multi layered air defense systems, several missiles and drones penetrated..
Israel isn't invincible..they have soft spots that Iran knows and can exploit.
If Iran was a weakling, why was the US warning them not to retailate?
Like it or not, if Israel attacks Iran and causes significant damage, Iran will respond with supersonic ballistic missiles and they have thousands of them deep underground bunkers..
Iran is not Iraq or Gaza..
They've been patient over the decades with Israel egging for war and hoping the US will support as usual.
Now the US has publicly declared it won't openly support Israel in war against Iran but will definitely support underground. That would lead Russia and China to lend Iran a helping hand..and allies on both sides would start kicking in..
That's how a World War starts

Politics / Re: Keep Your Dollars Closer! - Aisha Yesufu by HenryWilliams(m): 9:02pm On Apr 16
Regardless of the messenger..
The message is apt
Dollars will appreciate once when they stop defending the Naira with FX.
You think all this depreciation is real?
If there is a genuine depreciation..why aren't prices of goods reducing..
From 1,900 to 1,000 prices remain the same or even increasing..
Dollar will always have it's value regardless so it would be foolhardy to sell it..
Who do you think is mopping up all the fx released by CBN?

Same tactics they use against IPOB. Arrest some people, parade them with planted flag, guns, bullets. Issue a statement about how "our gallant troops caught terrorists", and watch foolish people believe the story without question

They never tell how they managed to overwhelm highly sophisticated armed people so easily, without suffering any casualties. They never tell you details of the gun battle

It is so easy to fool the average Nigerian these days, so easy

How people can be foolish enough to believe this false propaganda by the Nigerian security forces is beyond me

This bolded got me deep.
Look at those cutlasses..still brand new..
See the amount of pump action bullets..do you need so much? Haba
See as the flag is fresh and laundered.

You're completely surrounded and engaging on three fronts.. confident in the support of US to back you up. You go about grabbing ancestral lands of people, packing then into ever decreasing space.. killing them when they protest .you think the Muslim world will keep quiet .
This war will simmer and boil over..then simmer once more..it's been like that since 1947.. there will come a day Israel won't have the US to back up...

111yrs oldest man alive? I doubt that, Guinness world record (GWR) never go south Western Nigeria, older people are there.

They don't reckon with countries having dubious records.
Record keeping in this country is a farce .. anything before 1930 (except colonial govt records) is undoubtedly false especially in other regions like the North and East..
See s they got this man's age..up to the day and month..I'm sure the hospital he wss born in is still very much functioning, if they investigate the hospital..they'll find even the hour and minute of that day..
Nigeria?
Those old people..they just give an age appropriate to how old the person looks.
I've seen one obituary from the east claiming the deceased was 200 years old .I just weak.

But we have thousands of foreigners living and working in Nigeria.

In fact here is a picture of an Air Peace flight from India to Nigeria:

These are just ordinary, struggling Indians. For them, Nigeria is their El Dorado. A LAND OF OPPORTUNITY, while YOU are desperate to flee the same Nigeria to go and wash plates and do security in London.

Mumu people.

Those so called struggling Indians..
Are they coming here to wash plate or do menial jobs?
They are coming as expatriates to boss your people around so that Mopol will hold umbrella and handbag for them..
No sir, they ain't ordinary struggling Indians.
So you want my people to get bossed in their own country?
I'll rather go US and get bossed there then having Indians, Chinese, Lebanese boss me in my own land

Invisible123:
What this means is that band A will now have more power supply, carved out from other bands just to pacify band A and justify the upward review.
In essence, majority of Nigerians that fall under band B and below will now experience poorer supply.

Didn't the government think this through?

Don't be confused.
There's no Band A B or C.
Everyone is paying the same tariff irrespective of your location..
They only brought up that Band stuff to segregate our minds..they know if Nigerians feel they're not affected, there will be no noise and everyone will accept and swallow.
So whenever you're getting 20hrs or 2hrs a day..y'all paying the same tariff..

AntiChristian:
Only Band A users tarrif is increased!

Band B-E still dey N66/KWh!

How many of Una dey band A that uses minimum of 20 hours electricity per day?

Band A are those who uses minimum of 20 hours electricity per day! Only the pricing of these people were increased! Many people in band A were downgraded to Band B.

Band B uses minimum of 16 hours electricity per day!

Band C uses minimum of 12 hours daily!

Band D uses a minimum of 8 hours daily!

Band E uses a minimum of 4 hours daily!

Don't be surprised if all the bands get jacked up to this new price tariff..
Who is to control them?
NERC?
5k of token gives me about 95units.
I fear how much units I would get next time I buy
