It is his work rate that is giving him the edge over Nkunku but if Maresca can address the midfield to be astute and tidy in play Jackson won’t be needed to start.

Caceido shouldn’t be sitting, he is box to box that has passes in him unlike Enzo that can’t give proper final third pass to save his life. He doesn’t have the tenacity to deal with epl play.
