Fred is a good CM, he is not bad, he is just a victim of poor tactics. However, AWB, Mc, maguire, shaw and Ole are the problem of United. Shaw need a good drilling by a good tactician, same with Maguire. AWB is not good enough for Man U; he can’t cross and can’t carry the ball properly when attacking. Mc is a squad player at best, for calling and FA cup games. If only Fred has a good CDM covering him in 4231 formation, that same CDM will help in covering pogba/VDB Bruno in 433 formation.
In summary, the club need a good CDM with positional sense and technicality and then a coach to utilize the squad strength. Play Dalot or sign another RB.
