It’s not stubbornness but humility to senior players, since he is an under achiever and came to meet those players there. He was just looking for the right time to bench players that are performing below par in his system. E.g, Willian and Alonso. Willian is supposed to be scoring in this Sarri style of play and Alonso is supposed to be making decent crosses into opponent’s 18 yard box, defend well also. Azpilicueta is as guilty as Alonso except that he has a strong mentality and also no better competitor in that RB like in LB in the player of Emerson.

Remember Pep’s first season until he got his players.

Talent wise Neymar has never been better than Hazard. When comparing players a lot of factors have to be put in place; I.e, The club you play for, The strength of the league, how competitive and difficult it is. Like I always say here football is not like lawn tennis were they square up Roger Federer against Rafael Nadal but 11 men against another 11.
