Hectic fixtures does not actually mean number of ganes but the schedule of those games. The reason I said English FA is so much concern about the business aspect of football. Real Madrid or Barcelona play more games if they win ucl due to club World Cup. For how many seasons now Barcelona have not won it. Other fixtures are suspended for Madrid to go participate in CWC. In epl, four tournament are mandatory for top clubs, whether they win it or not.

Hectic fixtures. I can boldly say if Messi was to be playing in one of epl team all this years he will not have won five ballon d’or.
