The problem is definitely the midfield. No creativity from any where. What exactly does kovacic bring to Chelsea midfield? Chelsea no longer plays defensive football so no need for kante tackles and interception.

The problem is attack Gee. In this type of tactics and formation you need a midfield of such caliber, however, attacker that can run behind opponent defenders is needed, an attacker that is a goal getter which is what we lack in Willian. A forceful striker with goals in his Arsenal is needed too if we want to really enjoy Sarriball. For example, Real Madrid over the years didn’t have a consistent goal scoring midfielders but their attack led by cr7 is deadly. We need kante’s Energy and intercepting sense when not with the ball. Maybe we need a no 10(CAM) that has the quality of Coutinho since Kovacic is not really driving forward better with the ball. But overall, attack is the major problem.
