Jorg is a good player, I personally don’t like those type of CDM because of the league my club plays. Casemiro is better than Jorginho using eye test but same can not be said between Boateng vs Sylva or Terry.

We have team trophies and individual honors. If he was that good as you claim what was his individual honors and then compare them to that of Terry or Sylva.

Ramos was even played as RB in their 2010 wc, he was that useless. A makeshift CB is who you are comparing to Sylva. Lol. His uselessness became obvious when the core member of the team left. We have chore players and we have to fill up the space either for leadership, tactical reason or quota system. These guys you mentioned fall in one of this categories. Real Madrid midfield and attack were their strength and weapon. Ramos is one of the most reckless defender with poor positioning, he just had leadership skill due to citizenship moral/boost. Sylva is better than Ramos in positioning, reading of the game and mostly knowing when to make the right tackles. He is better than him in leadership too. Ramos is only better in getting goals from corner kick which is not their primary duty. During Ramos days Madrid concede goals for fun with silly mistakes from Ramos and co in almost every game. Sylva followed money to psg in his peak years instead of going to Madrid or one of the top club in epl if not you won’t be saying this today.

Thats not how to look at it. Barca as a club has a pattern that they follow which Is not Kessie type of football. Kessie is a CDM that play direct football while want their CDM to keep and possess the ball for their CM or CAM.
