Example: I have a Chinese friend called Qian Qian that name means beauty by the way....but in Chinese the letter "q" pronounciation doesn't exist like we pronounce the q-sound in queue or quick, they pronounce that name with a "Ch" sound...
So when she writes her name down in English...it's spelt as pronounces it "Chin Chin"....Notice thee "a" isn't there anymore
The "Y" in yeshua, yesu of Aramaic isn't pronounced as the Y in yam or you as in English.... the y is pronounced with the teeth almost together given off a subtle "j" sound...
Hence the reason for the spelling in English...

U don't expect people to pronounce "j"esu and now spell it in English exactly the way the aramaics spell it...

Its not about the spelling it's about pronunciation. Its pronounced Yeoshua all over Israel. I was there. And Yeoshua in Israel 2000 years ago, was like your Guru Mahraji in Nigeria today.

Apparently, you only have a small knowledge of your own bible. What is the name of your messiah? Jesus, Yeshua, Joshua, Esu? The "J" character was invented a few hundred years ago. Where did you get Jesus from?
