fexyrich: To me its a fact that most naija girls are extremely lazy..Always depending on men to survive..Though there are hard working ladies as well..The fact is that I think if as a girl u are broke and have nothing doing,U don't deserve a rich dude.Broke girls shld mingle with their class and work together to become rich. You cannot be a broke, lazy and jobless girl and be looking for a rich dude, dats criminal. Most rich dudes wouldn't even settle for broke girls they would rather chop and clean mouth..A rich dude would settle for a girl of his class except ofcus his bae was there for him while he was broke and husstling..Boys are smarter now. My honest advice is that a broke guy shld stay away from ladies especially naija ladies and focus on making money..When you become financially stable,Not necesarily rich,u can then look for a lady to join u and grow with u.If ur a completely broke dude,U want a lady but d truth is u honestly u don't NEED a lady.Having a girlfriend when u havnt found ur feet in life is a totally misplaced priority. 1 bottle of orijin 4 u |

highpappy: I just couldn't let this slide. Please OP do not listen to this person and if you have to listen or take his advice, know that the person is not talking with any fact.
The fact is that you don't have to bring a woman abroad before she cheats. She can cheat even in your village. So the suggestion to go to naija to stay with your wife is just bull. A woman that cheats on her husband after traveling abroad have the tendency to cheat anywhere anyway.
Also contary to what this person want you to believe that "majority" of those that relocated their wife abroad regretted it, the reverse is actually the case. Majority of individuals that relocated their wife are enjoying it or are no different than those that marries where they are based. Those that are regretting or regretted it are in minority. Don't let this person screw you up with his own experience, albeit not a direct a direct one.
As much as you will be made to believe, most of these people that regretted relocating their wife abroad plays a bigger part in turning their marriages to whatever they are.
Many will bring their wifes abroad but still treat them like they are still in Nigeria. He will expect the wife to cook, do laundry, take care of the kids even though they are both working the the usual 8 or 12 hrs shift. They will not say these but blame the wife when she gets tired if the injustice and decides to step out.
Also most of these men cheats on their wife with thir Akatas but blame the fact that they relocated their wife when the wife reciprocate.
Some men are lazy. They bring their wife abroad, watch the wife go to school and become a nurse or whatever. Meanwhile the man is still hustling with his security job. Yawa then gash when the woman started making more than the man, the transporter, himself. Is is right for the woman to change on her husband cos thean makes less than her, absolutely no. But shit we are all human ego comes with wealth. Not fair but the man should have improve himself too. Just saying.
Even a horrible husband that doesn't fit to be a husband, even by western standard, will blame everything on the fact that he brought his wife abroad.
Is it true that some women cheat on their husband after arriving abroad, yes. But heck that woman will cheat even if she is in Nigeria or her village. It's not the abroad thing, it is an intrinsic, personal thing.
And anytime one comes to tell you about how people are regretting their wife coming abroad, ask the person about the "saint" husband whose only mistake was bring his wife abroad.
Until some men start to realize that one of the sacrifice of living abroad is that you can't live just like in naija. That you lose a little bit of your patriarch power, especially when you have a wife that warrant that. May be then we will start being objective about the true reason behind why some women change after traveling abroad. Lovely!!! |

Romance › Re: Marry A Yoruba Girl, Thank Me Later. by herboshedhe(f): 2:38pm On Feb 08, 2016 |
HateU2: I'm not Tribalist when it comes to relationship. In fact, I will marry from any tribe where I find love. This is a counter thread, enjoy:
1. Education disparity
Yorubas generally love education. They have the highest number of University graduates in Nigeria. This is also the same for postgraduate degrees. Yoruba women occupy top positions in many organisations because they are well educated.
2. Highly accommodating
Yorubas generally are highly accommodating people. Historically, Yorubas have been at the forefront of the tribes who welcome strangers. They do entertain their guests even if the person is not from a Yoruba-spoken town. This spirit of warmly allowing non-indigenes to live among them is why states like Lagos, Ogun and Oyo have almost all the different tribes of people in Nigeria residing in them.
3. Adventure
This reason may come as a surprise. Yoruba women travel a lot. They travel for business, education and other reasons. In doing this, a Yoruba woman who is single before her trip might be fortunate to see a guy she likes.
It is very rare to hear an educated Yoruba lady say she would not marry a man from another tribe. The way she sees Yoruba men is also the same way she sees other men who are not Yoruba. There is no restriction in her choice of husband. She does not have a tribal biased mindset. She is ecstatic when she tells her parents that her fiancée is not Yoruba. She does not believe that this would erode away her culture. If a man who is her suitable taste comes to her, she accepts him. This is because she believes in discovering new things.
4. Yoruba Ladies Are Hardworking
A lot of Yoruba ladies grew up with the teachings of self-reliance. This is because at a tender age, they get taught about how to do major household chores and how to exceptionally take care of the house, the man of the house and the children. Every man want attention….
5. Yoruba Ladies Are Family-Oriented
The same way every young child is taught how to be respectful no matter the situation is the same way a Yoruba ladies are taught how to always put their immediate families first no matter what. They are brought up with the notion that a friend will one day leave but family will forever be family. This trait can make a man fall in love over and over again with the same woman who has perfected the act of keeping her family together.
6. Yoruba Ladies Are Very Respectful
The moment a child is born in Yorubaland, the onus of training is on everybody around the baby, not just the parents. This has made it very easy to inculcate habits like being respectful in the young child. Yoruba ladies are brought up to totally give obeisance to whoever it is due. The Yoruba culture opines that when a youngster meets an elder, she must kneel down to greet as a sign of respect. All these and more are why Yoruba ladies top the list of respectful tribes in Nigeria. Yoruba babes oya support me before the 'bashers' comes . Marry a yoruba girl and thank me later. "You are welcome in advance . CC: lalasticlala CC: Seun. Let them know 1 bottle of coke for you |
