Business / Re: How To Make Regular Income Offering HOT Digital Marketing Services On Fiverr by herboshedhe(f): 12:05pm On Sep 12, 2016
Venzal:
1. Create an optimized account/profile:

Simply go over to http://fiverr.com.

Click on the "Join" button and fill in the details that are required.

Experts agree that the best way to choose a Fiverr username is to use a name that potrays the services you're rendering (this could crucially be useful when ranking your gigs).

That's why you see people making use of names like fastest_writer, guru_writier etc.

So what keyword should you make use of on your username?

First it is important to know that each account you open should tend to ONE niche alone.

So the services we are offering here, are all in the digital marketing niche - like I said before.

So on that ground you can look for how to squeeze in either marketing, online, internet, digital etc into your username.

Something like: eve_marketing, marketingguru, digitalservices

NOTE; these are just for examples. I'm sure a lot of those names have been taken up already. Just come up with something creative.

The next question now is, should you operate a Nigerian-based account or a US-based?

Any of them works and works well. I have seen a lot of Nigerian sellers on Fiverr. And they're slaying it.

But I personally prefer to go with the US-based accounts. It usually has a slight advantage.

There are a lot of paid VPN services that you can make use of to make your browser IP address become US based.

But I make use of these two below (they're free and trusted):

1. The anonymox extension. You can add it to either your Mozilla firefox browser or Google Chrome.

2. Epic browser - you can download it from here

The Epic broswer automatically uses a US IP. So you're covered.

If you're going to be making use of a your Nigerian Ip though, make sure you avoid browsing with your Airtel sim. Like I've alluded to in my answer to a question up there, Airtel has been discovered to change IP address all too often. And if Fiverr notice this, your account is gone.

Got questions? Fire away!

Updates coming up...
Thanks for this tip,but since Airtel seems to change IP easily, is one safe using glo then?
A prompt response will be appreciated

I hail My Oga dem. Happy Sunday to all! I have being trying to acquire knowledge on how to make something out of fiverr just like many here and there have done. I got a little Secret though not really secret because the boss has said it several times here. So this is it. An expert said if you are not getting enough impressions and clicks on your gigs you should just do the following without wasting time.

1. search for your gig keywords on fiverr search bar and observe those gigs that come up. copy exact gig title of the most one that suit your service and use it for yours.
2. Check below the gig reviews and copy the tags there and use it for yours. Finish. Your gig will surely start to appear some how on fiverr based on search bar. grin My little quota. shocked No time Joo.
Thanks for sharing this
God bless you
I hope it works for me by the time I open my fiverr account

Romance / Re: Men And Their Double Standards. by herboshedhe(f): 6:34pm On Apr 05, 2016
mimzy:
Growing up as a Nigerian female, you're told to sit, talk, act and respond to situations in certain ways or you'll be branded as "unladylike". Women are conditioned in a certain way and most of us have adhered to these rules.

Notwithstanding, these questions have always been a puzzle to me, other women and, I suspect, even men:

1. Why do men feel they should be forgiven when they cheat on their women but the rules change when these same women cheat on them, even once or just emotionally?

2. Why do contemporary men insist women share the bills but they think it beneath them to help out in domestic chores?

3. Why should a man be hailed by his friends for bragging about his sexual encounters with women but they slut-shame a woman who's honest about her escapades with a man she's into?

4. Why do Nairaland men insult a woman who's liberal in her views but cheer on a guy who says lewd things about women?

5. Why do men generalize all women as "_bitches" and '_hoes" but take offense when allusions are made to their female relatives being the same?

Even on this thread, some men would prove me right but the question is: WHY THE DOUBLE STANDARDS?

Hmmmmm
