I want to give glory and adoration to almighty God, the beginning and the end.

Fast forward to this morning.
After dressing up, I came outside and took a bolt ride to diplomatic drive. I got there around 6:45am. The hustlers at the gate chop me small today, because I forgot to print out my late arrival authorization letter given to me by my Graduate Coordinator, so I printed just a page #3,000.
I also needed to keep my phone as phone's ain't allowed inside the embassy, I was also charged #1,500.
Then, we proceeded to the que for documentation and all.

Now, the interview proper.
I was interviewed by a while man in his mid 40s

V.O: Pass me your passport and i20 please
Me: I did

V.O : Your left four fingers, right fingers and tumbs please.

Me : Okay (I did for all)

V.O: Have you travelled out of Nigeria before?

Me: No, I haven't had any reason to.

V·o: Good, What's your highest qualification ?

Me: I have a bachelor of engineering from a federal university here in Nigeria, (I mentioned it)

V.o: So, what have been up to since you finished ?

Me: After graduating in 2015, I went for my NYSC in Port HARCOURT between 2016 and 2017, and I started working in my current company since Nov. 2017.

V.O: What's your role there? (While asking all these questions, he was looking into his PC and typing for very long time before asking the next question )

Me: I work as a field engineer.(I explained my duties)

V.O :What will you do after this program ?

Me: After completing this program, I'll come back to my job to occupy a higher position. (As I was saying it, he had stopped typing and now was looking at my face, me too was looking straight to his eyes, eyeball to eyeball)

V.O: Okay, good good (gesculating with his hands, I wan laugh here )

V.O: How did you here about this school and how many school did you apply to?

Me: I searched through Google.com, and I applied to 2 schools; Bowling green state university and Morgan State University. So I went for MSU since I got a full scholarship there.

V.O: Good, very good. Do you have any siblings in USA ?
Me: No, I dont

V.O: What about your parents, are they here and what do they do?

Me: My dad is here in Nigeria, he's a retiree and my mum is late.

V.O: Oh, so sorry about your mum. But I can see tha your school has commenced fall lectures since August 23rd, so what do you think?

Me: Yes, I commenced with them since August 23rd, and I have a late arrival authorization letter issued by my Graduate Coordinator here with me. (me bringing it out)

V.O: Okay, that's good. Now I can see all is set and good.

Me: Smilling sheepishly . . .

V.O: I'll be approving your visa, I'll be collecting your passport, you can visits www.tarveldocs.com.n . . .blablabla. . I Couldn't here anything again.

The Sounds Must Be Or Should Be From Your Break Pads Or Disck Or Both... Sir...

The Problem..

1, You Might Have Bad Break Pads Or Bad Break Disc.. Maybe You Have the Aftermarket Product Break Pads And Disc Or Chinese Pads And Disc.. this is probably the number one results and effect when it raining... Or you drove pass a pool of water like you said..




2. Or If your brake discs needs resurfacing.. and if it needs too be resurface... You will probably need too change your break pads too...

But the thing is That when you are fixing it do not go for a cheaper break pads or disc or the Chinese one am saying the fake product... It will damage your brake discs and still make a lot of noice. When it is in raining season...

How too fix it...

Go too a mechanic workshop where they have a professional or someone you trust... Too help you get the check the suspension.. part.. the disc and the brake pads.. same thing goes too the rear wheel.. too...

Too check if your brake Disc is not affected or damaged beyond resurfacing...

The major Culprit Hear is The Brake Pads Hope You Understand And Know How Too Go About What I Typed

I am just curious and down, I drive a bit D's morn and park to see if It will go but it persist,I am trying to see if everything will be normal again when sun is out and get dried up. I don't still get what could be the cause. I love having ideas of my car issue before calling any kazeem.pls help.

“My first experience picking up a car from Tincan Port Lagos to Port Harcourt”

The day started off with me picking up the car from Lagos Port. Thereafter, I proceeded to register it to avoid unnecessary interception from security personnels on the road ensuring all necessary documents were in check.

Knowing how the system functions, I was advised to keep some cash handy for some security personnels I’ll meet at various checkpoints. What I encountered on the road didn’t seem like extortions . In fact! One can say the police, army and every other security officers that are suppose to protect lives and properties of our dear country are the people robbing us.

How did we get here?
Nigeria security services have destroyed this country!
There were about 23 check points all filled with police ,army and customs on the high way. Each had a particular amount stipulated to be paid.
I met like 9 custom officers checking for duty papers. Each asked for a “1k non-negotiable fee” as that was a standard for them. Then the army took 200 naira at each check point.

The police are the worst!
These guys are hardened criminals disguised in uniforms to operate legally on the road. They have no mercy. I spent 2-5k each at checkpoints.
I ran out of luck as I approached Benin where the bigger problem started.

I got to a checkpoint and was told my car is tinted and the registered plate number didn’t reflect on their system. I was taken to their station and asked to pay the sum of 100k. I looked at heaven, left and right for help but none came. I started negotiating the extortion, and we ended up at 40k. After paying I was allowed to leave and so I continued my journey hoping this time the extortions were over.

As God answered my prayers, I didn’t meet any Custom officer from Benin to Port Harcourt just police check points.
In total, I spent 98k on extortions and it saddens me. The questions that still lingers in my head is “why Port Harcourt and Warri Ports are still not functioning till date”?
Why do our Politicians Politicize everything in this country?
If not politics, tell me why the Ports in the South are not operating?
There are lots of readjustments to be made especially where citizens in my country have accepted extortion as norm.
We need to do better!

I think I ve moved a tok from lag to ph sometime July and I didn't spend a dime on custom not to talk of police nor army.. I was lucky though... I picked some police service commission (psc) workers at the tollgate ,they did most of the clearing while I clear some too... The hardest was delaying me for upto a mins or 2min, the rest are just go go go go...e still get secret Sha but no b wetin I go talk here
