Yoruba vote have no winning power in Nigeria, its on record. Their votes are usually divided making it insignificant.


In the 1960s it was divided between Awolowo's and Akintola's.


In 1999 it was divided between Obasanjo and Olu Falae.


Another time Yoruba vote made some sense was MKO Abiola's 1992 election.
