If you watch TV regularly, you must have come across
Nigerian actor Hafiz Oyetoro a.k.a Saka. He
sometimes features in some soap operas and yoruba
movies but he is popularly known for his hilarious
roles in Etisalat advertisements…


Now here’s the best part, Saka seems to have
upgraded and switched over to rival company,
telecoms giant MTN. A new MTN ad campaign
indicates so.
The ad starts with Saka dressed in green traditional
attire – which probably stands for Etisalat, lol – only
to transform into a bright yellow attire – MTN – as he
leads a music band.


‘I don port o, I don port go MTN. I don upgrade to
MTN‘, Saka sings and dances.
Sources say Saka was paid a mouth watering N20m…
he don hammer!. Who would resist the offer? Many
questions however trail the move; didn’t Saka have an
exclusive contract with Etisalat or was he being paid
per campaign?


But that MTN Portability Ad with Saka is arguably a
greater coup than Sani Abacha’s overthrow of Ernest
Shonekan. Damn #Nigeria…

Of course I did not. I can categorically tell you I did not.
Ruggedman has been my friend. But even before then, we

I cooked that day. I cooked jollof rice and I diced the meat I
used in cooking the rice. The lady referred to in the song was
not me. All the attributes didn’t have anything to do with me. I

Digital Trends on Sunday revealed that Google was in serious
talks to purchase the message based platform.

According to
the report the team at WhatsApp is playing hardball with
the search giant. The company is believed to be asking for $1
billion for its platform and a talent acquisition.

WhatsApp has become a powerhouse application in a very
short period of time. The company chose to skirt ad spaces
and instead began offering its service for just $1 per year.

The company now claims to be collecting upwards of $100
million in annual revenue.
Google is currently working on the Google Babble platform, a
system that is suppose to tie together Google services. For
example, Google would like to connect Google Voice, Google

Talk and its other platforms into an easy to develop system.
By purchasing WhatsApp the search giant could ultimately
create its unified chat service more quickly.

The deal is far from over, according to sources WhatsApp is
demanding a higher acquisition because it knows Google needs
the type of platform it offers.

The insider also says WhatsApp caught Google’s eye in
December 2012, the same time as when Facebook first
approached the company to discuss a possible acquisition.

Google would receive a competent system if the deal goes
through. The WhatsApp platform is available in 100
countries and through December 31, 2012 it had sent 18
billion messages. The WhatsApp platform is the number one
downloaded app in more than 100 of the countries it serves.

CBT candidates have been moved further down the month.
All candidates who fall into the CBT category are advised
to recheck their exam dates and re-print their photo-cards
from their registration point or the official JAMB website.

and Paper Test (PPT) version is left unchanged and will
