Hajiya Turai Umaru Musa Yar’adua has revealed
how her husband, former President Umaru Musa
Yar’adua once told her that his relatives would
quarrel with her after his death as they would think
he had left so much money.

The former first lady who spoke at a memorial lecture
in honour of the late president in Katsina at the
weekend, also said “the late Yar’adua was not a
materialist leader who believed in accumulating
wealth. In fact, he shunned material things as his
slogan was service to humanity.
“There was a time he said to me that ‘Turai, I pity you
because when I die you will have quarrels with my
relatives because they will think I have so much
money in my possession”, she said.

She said the situation in Nigeria would have been
better had the late president survived his ailment
because he was a “focused, committed and
determined leader”.
“Although my husband was sick for a long time he
did his very best for Nigeria. Also as governor of
Katsina State, he did his best for the state; he is an
honest man who believed in service”, she said.

Extolling his virtues as a leader, Turai said the late
President would not give out contract without having
the money to pay for it.

“There was a time I approached him that people are
complaining that the government was slow. But he
said to me people can say whatever they like but I will
not give out contract if I have no money to pay.

“The late Umaru was a kind of leader that would go
out and monitor projects. I could recall when I used
to join him to supervise the projects at Umaru Musa
‘Yar’adua University, Turai ‘Yar’adua Hospital and
the roads,” she said.

Joshua Akindele, 56, a confessed cannibal was
recently caught by a vigilante group in collaboration
with members of the palace guard to the community
leader of Ajara Topa community in Badagry, Lagos.
Akindele reportedly operates from a hole he dug
under the Gbaji bridge along the Badagry-Seme
border.

Sources say the accused was spotted by a man
identified as Anthony Amos who watched him crawl
into the hole under the Gbaji bridge.

Akindele confessed to behind several unexplained

dragging them into the hole before splitting their
parts for food and selling parts to ritual buyers.
He confessed to have been previously jailed for 5
years after molesting a 17-year old girl.
According to him: “I have been in this business for

riding okada and to join him in ritual killing and
cannibalism.

“Whenever I see somebody walking alone without
being conscious of who is watching, I walk slowing
up to them and hit them with a big plywood on their
heads after which they fall unconscious, I then drag
them into the hole and use a knife to cut them into
parts which I sell to some churches and some ready
buyers who indulge in ritual killing for easy money,
and some times when I feel hungry late in the night,
I eat some parts for food.” he said.
He gave details of his body part selling business
revealing that he sells human heads for N7,500;
breast for N1,500; joystick for N1,000; hands and
legs sell for N3,500.

The Baale of Ajara Topa community, Samuel Amosu
Owolabi, said he visited the scene of the crime and
met the suspect being beaten by a mob.
Owolabi said he pleaded with the mob to let the
confessed cannibal live so that he can be prosecuted
according to the law.

It was confirmed that the suspect is now in the
custody of the Badagry police division for proper
investigation into the case.

According to source providing Stella Dimokorkus,
Crooner Abolore Akande a-k-a 9ice might be owing
over N60k light bill at his Ahmadiya Abule egba
Lagos home.
Some PHCN officials visited his home and
disconnected his light cables and after the officials
left,a miracle
happened and the cables were noticed to be
'reconnected'.

The Phcn officials paid another visit to 9ice's home

Although the both parties mentioned do not enjoy the
best of relationship for some years now, no one knew
it would degenerate into a rofo rofo fight years after,
until they finally engaged each other in a severe
boxing match recently that finally earned AY a

beginning of the matter.
In 2009, AY Dot come launched an attack on Terry G
and warned him to stop performing his song, “Pass
Me Your Love” in shows. The song which featured
Terry and was also produced by him turned out to be a
monster hit single later became the subject of a
misunderstanding between the two parties over the
years.

While Terry on his part claims he has the right of
performing the song since it was a duet that featured
him, AY Dot Come maintained it was never going to
happen while he lives.
Meanwhile, AY on several occasions lamented of
how Terry G went about collecting money on his
behalf to perform the song without his consent.
Now from the story, you can see it was an age long
animosity which finally turned out into a free for all
fight, where blows were exchanged; several bottles
broken, people injured, trying to separate the fight.
Fast forward to what happened at Terry G’s Iju home
on his birthday.

An eyewitness said, ‘AY came in the company of
some friends as a sign of solidarity to celebrate with
the ‘Intellectual Mad Man’ on his birthday and upon
