Tugee: And how did you know he 'failed' the interview like you know the cut off mark and all other cosiderations or something. Truth is that if the GMD wants his son to be recruited into NNPC today, the guy will get his appointment letter and there's nothing you or anyone here can do about it, let's stop these baseless assumptions.
From what I've gathered, the plan for the EH had changed. NNPC has been unbundled and as such to prevent any face off and hugh pay-off sums coupled with labour contentions, the staff of the less functional arm of the organisation were reposted to fill in vacant postions in other arms instead of bringing new hands and having reason to lay the old hands off. As it stands almost all the relevant staff in Port-Harcourt refinary have been posted out to other arms of the organisation and the process had started since 2020.
As for the contract staff no one is certain yet if they're going to absorbed them however that should be the most logical thing to do instead of bringing hands from outside and start another learning process.
Regarding this NCDMB, if you don't get any official response from the organisation by end of August then that recruitment process is completely canceled and everyone can should move on. That's the most I can say regarding this for now Read my comment again to understand and not just to respond. For your information, irrespective of who the person is, he/she has to go through the process to become a full fledged staff. Except the person is joining as a contract staff. I give it to NNPC on this standard! |

shalom4eva: Truly the GMD wanted to close out the EH recruitment but he said the ones interviewed don't have the experience that the contract staffs have and so they can't employ supposedly experienced hires and still be spending funds training them again. Kyari's son failed the test as an EH applicant! Forget about his claim about lack of experience from those interviewees. Check the NNPC thread and you will see the calibre of people that attended the interviews; some of them are on this thread now! |

SatB: You would be better off if you debunk the rumour that :
"The rumour behind the cancellation of NNPC EH component of the 2019/2020 recruitment was that it favoured more candidates from the Southern part of the country". This does not even catch the sense of a sane man.
Imagine you are working in an organization and it is time for you to be promoted, but instead, your organization decided to hire someone from outside to take care of that position which you were meritoriously due to be be promoted to ; as an internal staff how would you feel..?
Recall that the very said recruitment was initiated by one GMD but concluded by another different GMD and this is exactly where the issue is.
Pls. master the dots before trying to connect them next time.
Good Morning all. Be ready to defend NCDMB as well when they decide to remain incommunicado for ever! |

The rumour behind the cancellation of NNPC EH component of the 2019/2020 recruitment was that it favoured more candidates from the Southern part of the country. Wether true or false, it did not see the light of the day. As for the NCDMB recruitment, it doesn't even make sense from the onset! |

nasiest: Let me update you bro. Some persons resumed @NNPC two weeks ago. Through the backdoor though but NCDMB haven't called a large number yet for us to conclude that the recruitment has gone the way of EH component of NNPC. Trust me the recruitment isn't over yet even though you obviously wants it to be. Happy Sunday!!! Probe further, they resumed as third party staff! |

Eno911: The much I can say is that for those who wrote this particular exam, NCDMB hasn't called anyone, unless it's training, but for this particular recruitment, nobody has been called, some persons won't tell you it's training they are undergoing and it will look like they have been gainfully employed In NCDMB. Those that are needed have been invited for various trainings! |

Until NNPC GT recruitment was closed out, there was information about it, in fact, the GMD spoke about it during one of their town hall meetings. When they decided to trash the EH component, the management just decided to maintain a sealed lips. As for NCDMB or whatever it is, the pattern has been established! |

mojounited: https://ncdmb.gov.ng/ncdmb-signs-investment-agreements-with-duport-midstream-eraskon-on-energy-park-oil-blending-plant/
Is it possible that the two investment agreements signed by NCDMB in the above report were meant to act as catalysts for this recruitment? Duport Misdtream Energy Park Project in Edo State, initially scheduled to be completed in December, 2021, is now rescheduled for commissioning in June 2022. Meanwhile, Eraskon Nigeria Limited recently performed groundbreaking ceremony for the Lubricant Blending Plant in Bayelsa State last month, with a completion date scheduled for December, 2022 (project timelines can be tricky, so we expect completion date to be further rescheduled for this one too).
So, unless these projects / investments are directly tied to this recruitment, it's a tad difficult to understand why a recruitment that kickstarted in July, 2020 cannot be wrapped up after almost two years. The last time I was involved in such a long recruitment process was the 2019 NNPC Recruitment for EH component. Those who participated know how it panned out...
Some of us are lucky to be gainfully employed while hoping for this recruitment to come to a conclusion, i shudder to think of what other applicants, who are solely banking on this recruitment for employment, are going through. May our expectations not be cut short! Men anticipated to buy car, start project with upfront that never came. The thread was a season film. From my findings, the EH component was cancelled immediately MKK came on board. |

By June, it will be barely 8 months to the general elections and most of those heading these MDAs will be relieved of their duties when a new government takes over. The proponent of the June theory is just giving out a false hope. Guys, get your PVCs and make better decisions with your choices. The number 1 man in the country once said that the youths should know that there are no more vacancies at the federal level. I once read in the news that the new recruits of the NDLEA are being owed some months salaries. That is how bankrupt the country is now, N4 trillion has been provided for as fuel subsidy for the year 2022. Imagine a whole N4 trillion!
God will help us all. |

casapraco123: NCDMB has called FCC for collection of Certificate of Compliance from FCC. NCDMB will be picking it up within the quarter, but for NCDMB to pick up these documents, they will have to produce names & numbers of staff to be given APL, states of origin and cadar of each staff to be employed to see if the long list comply with FCC extent rules of which NCDMB claims "it's handy, ma'am". They will be coming with this list in exchange of Letter of Compliance to prove they adhere to the extent rules.
FCC It is non sequitur! Gibberish. |
