I have heard stories of several cases and I have always wondered how it works. Recently, a man i know very well died from similar circumstances and my curiosity increased after coming across this thread:-

I heard they normally put it on the ground or sometimes on the seat of their targeted victim.
Now these are the things I want to know;

1. Are these things visible?
2. If visible, what do they look like?
3. What is their mechanism of operation?

The question of visibility (1 above) may sound ridiculous but I have a reason for asking, especially for those put on seats because I don't know how the victim won't spot it before seating on it.

The problem with this modern designs (Transformerless) is that the 220/250V from the mains is most times not completely isolated from the output, and leakage is very possible unlike the old designs that make use of a transformer for step-down and complete isolation.

The only advantage it has is light weight and they are more portable. Otherwise, the transformer designs are still the best and safest.

So you have to be careful with the way you handle these chargers especially touching the tip (output) because those Capacitors, resistors and zener diode combination used in isolation can still leak part of the 220/250V from the mains and it can be fatal.

Opening and closing of doors alters the balance in the air pressure within an enclosed space. Thus the force created can make other doors in the enclosure or other things that are not properly fitted in the same enclosure to vibrate, move or even fall off depending on the magnitude of the net-force generated.

Guy, forget this history talk, jinx can be broken. They almost won it last season but lost with just one point.

Mancity's recent form under pep has made winning the PL more difficult. Some few years back, you could win the PL with 80pts & above. But now, you will need close to 100, no thanks to city.

It was 98/97 last season, both of them surpassing Chelsea's best record of 95 under Mourinho in 04/05 season. It just shows how difficult the league has become with the recent form of city.

If Liverpool can carry on with this form and avoid defeat to city, i see them winning it this time.

The only issue i had with it back then was the battery. It can barely go more than 2 days on heavy usage, then you start looking for money to replace it.
