I am sorry to read this. No one should commit suicide. Not because there is no hardship, but because life is for the living and where there is life, there is hope. Any time I pass that Idumota axis and look at the Lagoon from there and see the filth, I can only imagine that even if someone mistakenly falls into it, the filth will be what will harm the person and not just drowning from water. The sad part of this story is that the woman may be arrested for attempted suicide. Oh what a country. What she needs is counselling not incarceration.
