He was not wrong.The hospital staff showed no sense of urgency in attending to the accident victim. An emergency should not be handled that
way.Imagine telling someone that brought an accident victim to hospital that you have no hand gloves?

Nigerian database is too poor to support hospitals treating accident victims in certain situations. Many of you might claim that I am heartless. But isn't the nurse also a human? What if the victim fails to pay after treatment and the hospital mandates the nurse to pay the bill?

What if police later gets involved and detains the girl when no one else shows up for the victim? In Nigeria, some legal actions have been criminalised and poor people are the victims. For a nurse to boldly refuse to treat the victim, even when she knows she is being recorded, she must have had many bitter experiences in such cases.

Nigeria has so many laws that nobody really gives a Bleep about including the public procurement act.

The reason is that in the west, leaders come to power to make positive impact, create jobs and make things better than they met it. I am really embarrassed by what Nafdac has become. If truly the 700,000 naira payment is fine for storing drugs under poor conditions, the question then is:Do those who have paid and been allowed to open their shops now store drugs properly? Or are they permitted to store drugs anyhow as long as they pay Nafdac? May all the work Dora Akunyili and her team did not be in vain.

Even Dangote does not keep $50,000 cash at home.I fear these people.

Nafdac should explain how extorting 700k each from hundreds of traders can help rid the society of fake drugs. Criminals who sell fake drugs, including Nafdac staff who collude with them, deserve the highest possible punishment. South Eastern leaders including governors,senators etc should hold Nafdac to account on this.

I think it should be criminalized across Naija to curb the excesses and arrogrance of Naija men when it comes to adultery.

I say this as a single woman who has been at the receiving end of far too many advances from married men. Most of them see nothing wrong with adultery, they make all kinds of excuses and arguments, to justify why it is not wrong.

Some will even argue that it is not a sin, it is an expression of love and feelings between a man and a woman. The way we practice this religion in Naija is too much, we over do it, blah blah blah blah. This is the latest argument I heard from a 60 year old married man .

I prayed for the salvation of his soul today. A lot of them think the bible is a joke and God is joking when he lists adultery as a sin. Perhaps making it a criminal offence may help to reset or rewire their brains.
