The world was on the cusp of eliminating HIV for good until Trump came. Outside the breakthrough of Lenacapavir, American scientists had finally figured out how to send targeted medication to the reservoirs of HIV hidden in the body. There's hope that similar breakthroughs can come from Europe. I strongly believe that the battle against HIV can be won and very soon.

I voted for him in 2015 but within a short time,I realised he had no good plans for Nigeria. Insecurity during his tenure was very high which was surprising considering the fact that he was a retired army General. He couldn't even secure his Katsina state.

This is something I have been saying since 2005 when I did my IT in PH refinery. Imagine how many hospitals,schools and roads that could have been built or maintained with the billions of USD wasted on these moribund refineries.

It is all about efficiency. Delay does not neccessarily mean carefulness. If you have a checklist of visa requirements and a comprehensive database of undesirable aliens,you can even issue visas in less than 24 hours especially with digital tools and/ or AI

Anyone who believes this cannot be a doctor. 75% means that three out of every 4 people in the country have HIV.It is a big lie.
HIV is a big problem, people should abstain or atleast use protection.But alarmists like this lady are not helping.

He was not wrong.The hospital staff showed no sense of urgency in attending to the accident victim. An emergency should not be handled that
way.Imagine telling someone that brought an accident victim to hospital that you have no hand gloves?

Nigerian database is too poor to support hospitals treating accident victims in certain situations. Many of you might claim that I am heartless. But isn't the nurse also a human? What if the victim fails to pay after treatment and the hospital mandates the nurse to pay the bill?

What if police later gets involved and detains the girl when no one else shows up for the victim? In Nigeria, some legal actions have been criminalised and poor people are the victims. For a nurse to boldly refuse to treat the victim, even when she knows she is being recorded, she must have had many bitter experiences in such cases.

Nigeria has so many laws that nobody really gives a Bleep about including the public procurement act.
