You're right, life is in stages. I can't remember the last time I sat in front of TV to watch a movie from beginning till the end. When I close from work the only place I stay most times till the next day is my room and I don't even bother to touch the TV remote.

The implosion of APC by 2027 is inevitable. Heads or tail, Tinubu will bleed votes in the North but even more so if he goes ahead to replace Shettima. He thinks he can use everyone just to satisfy his own ambition. First it was Elrufai, then Shettima. Kwankwaso is now his newest bride but the North are cooking. Kwankwaso himself will sabotage Tinubu. Even Ribadu sitting pretty and thinking he's the chosen one will be disappointed at the end of the day. He should ask Gbajabiamila.

Maria Udofia, Convener of the Non-Indigenous Residents in Anioma (NIRA), has called for calm and clarity regarding recent misinformation circulating online about the Delta North APC stakeholders’ meeting hosted by Senator Prince Ned Nwoko. Addressing the press after the meeting, held at Senator Nwoko’s residence in Idumuje-Ugboko, Udofia emphasized that Senator Nwoko is the undisputed leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta North and that all party faithful should rally behind his leadership.

“Much of the confusion, particularly on Facebook, is coming from uninformed voices who clearly do not understand the structure of our party or the intent of the meeting,” Udofia said. “This meeting, convened by our leader in Delta North, Senator Ned Nwoko, is only the beginning. Similar meetings are scheduled across all federal constituencies. Aniocha, Ika, Oshimili, Ndokwa, and Ukwuani, as directed by Senator Nwoko. There's no ambiguity here; he leads the party in this senatorial district.”

Udofia went on to address claims suggesting that the meeting should have been hosted by either the Deputy Governor or former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. “That’s not how party leadership or constitutional hierarchy works,” she stated. “Senator Ned Nwoko is the highest-ranking elected official in Delta North. As a serving senator representing the entire senatorial district, his office carries more constitutional authority than that of a deputy governor, which is largely ceremonial and operational only under the governor’s directive. It is inappropriate to suggest that a deputy governor should override a senator in leadership or influence.”

She continued, “Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, as a former governor and recent entrant into the APC, holds no current political office. While his experience is respected, he cannot claim party leadership in Delta North. He is not part of the official hierarchy, nor does he override the legitimacy of an elected federal lawmaker. It is important to note that Senator Nwoko had already established his leadership in the party even before Okowa joined.”

Speaking further on the structure and intent of the meeting, Udofia explained that the stakeholders' gathering is based on a rotation model across federal constituencies. “This particular meeting was for the Aniocha-Oshimili Federal Constituency. The next will be held in the Ika Federal Constituency. The absence of Okowa or the Deputy Governor, Monday Onyeme, should not be misinterpreted. Instead, it reflects the shifting dynamics of party leadership and realignment following the 2023 elections,” she said.

Udofia praised several prominent APC leaders who were present. “I give great credit to Hon. Victor Ochei, former SSG Chiedu Ebie, and our State APC Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, for standing firm. Their presence underscores a commitment to party unity over personal ambition. Leadership is about accessibility and strategic action, and Senator Ned Nwoko has demonstrated both.”

She warned critics, particularly those not from Delta North, to refrain from interfering or spreading divisive narratives. “This is Delta North APC business. Outsiders meddling in internal matters only serve to destabilize the region. We will not tolerate interlopers sowing discord within our ranks.”

Udofia concluded with a pointed reminder: “Ned Nwoko is the serving senator and remains the most senior elected official in the district. It is neither logical nor strategic to expect him to defer to individuals who hold no current mandate. Okowa, though a former governor, is no longer in public office. Politics is not run on sentiment but on structure and mandate. The next meeting will be hosted in Ika Federal Constituency, and we hope to see all stakeholders, including Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, in attendance"
