Career / Re: Your Thoughts On Nigerian Banks Salaries 2021 by HighOptimism(m): 7:07pm On Feb 21
VisionaryMe:
Hello guys,

I just got an offer at Stanbic IBTC as an experienced hire (ABO). I'll be resuming next month at the Stanbic IBTC Towers in Lagos.

Many thanks to Richmond, who has been doing a lot of good work on this thread. He has been particularly helpful, especially with the words of encouragement in making this become a reality. I was always in his DM on WhatsApp for the past couple of years.

The new challenge now is the issue of accomodation, as I'll be relocating down to Lagos from another state. I'll be glad if any good Samaritan will be willing to assist for at least the first 1-2 months of my resumption.

I welcome valuable suggestions and advice as I begin a new phase at Stanbic IBTC.

Congratulations...More wins.
Were you an ET, and how many years of experience?

No, they're not given any car.

Please do a follow up mail and make enquiries. They'll be happy to reply.
Bro, what is the grade level after ET at Stanbic. Is it ABO or there's a grade in between?

I captured last September(09/09) at Uyo office and my passport is not produced yet as at April I went to their office. Please what is the way forward? Must I pay for my passport to be printed after this long wait? Its disheartening.

Is Part 2 of the Guarantor's form compulsory? I seem not to completely understand it.
Also, is the guarantor's thumb print(right) needed or a signature can do?
Someone should please help out on this.

I would like to know if the application and acknowledgment forms can be printed anything on the website. I want to apply with my phone then print later. Is it possible? Do the forms come as PDF so I can download then print later?

I paid 17,900.

Original birth certificate
Original certificate of origin
Filled and notarized guarantors form ( you will find the form on their website)
Photocopied data page of my guarantor
Payment receipt from saanapay
Acknowledgement receipt from saanapay
Print out of your application
2 passport photographs

Do make photocopy of all the documents, although you can still photocopy them at the immigration office for #20 each.
Thank you for this.
Didn't you submit your NIN slip and was it not required while filling your online form?

For the guarantor's form, I thought its commissioner of oath. Can it be notarized by a notary club too? Abi the two are the same?

Please can someone direct me to a page where I will see all the documents one needs to submit after registration?

Is letter required for fresh application?

Help please... The year of birth in my NIN was wrongly captured. My BVN and other documents are correct. Can I proceed for my passport registration without correcting the error in NINMC. I heard the D.O.B correction takes time. I need your contributions please.

Programming / Re: I Want To Learn Programming. Which Language Should I Start With? by HighOptimism(m): 12:06pm On Nov 06, 2019
AroFx:
I am newbie
Stumbled upon this thread last week and i decided to start with python.
I am still studying the basics: variables, types, values, Boolean expression, logic, etc.
And today i wrote my first script that can be used to convert a Fahrenheit degree to celcius degree to challenge myself.

When excuted in python interpreter
It will ask user for his name
Tell user that his same name is his password
If password is correct, it will move forward to conversion stage which will convert any Fahrenheit degree to celcius,
and if not it will write incorrect password and close.

Also, if during conversation, a user put anything other than number, it will prompt user to type in just number.

I just hope i become better as i progress.
