I ask this because in some of the cases I've witnessed, both the husbands and the wives had a good share of the blames.

However, I will say that in most of them, the wives proved to be the greater evil.

Firstly, if you don't know her so well and never dated her while in Nigeria, think it well.

Secondly, avoid village girls, they turn out to be worse than city girls when they tear eye. City girls can only be golddiggers but village girls mostly turn out to be worse than that. They want to show we have arrived.

Thirdly and most importantly, get yourself a good job or business. Don't turn somebody's daughter to slave and relax to eat as master.

Some of our brothers bring village girls, encourage them to be nurses and sit idly to eat their paychecks. One day, slaves will want to revolt naa, it's normal.

Abeg, don't come for me o....re-read what I wrote before. I repeat, there are still some of us that did NOT go crazy because we landed in a foreign land. I'm peacefully married and so are my friends that immigrated to the US. I see no reason to stress your husband out if he does not disturb your peace of mind. However, if he starts exhibiting dangerous/callous behavior, the woman has the right to act in the best interest of herself and her children, if she has any.
