My final year project supervisor called me to summarize my research work of 2 years for publication. He sent me a copy of one of his ex-student work that he published. It was only his ex student who did the work with guidance from my supervisor, but the published paper has two authors; my supervisor (main author) and his ex student. Only my supervisor's contact was also in the paper.

I strongly believe that's what he will also do with mine. Should I give him the go ahead? If I don't publish it, it will probably rot. Or is there a way for me to publish it myself?

You can learn android. You need only need to learn Java, OOP concepts, android SDK and Android Studio. If you know CSS, you can easily grasp XML for defining layout of apps.

You don't need to cram anything. Just learn the fundamentals and you can use stackoverflow if you are stuck.

To learn Java, use w3schools and sololearn. Make sure you understand all concepts.

For android development, start with a freecodecamp video on YouTube tutored by Meisam.

Please tell me the Specifications of your Laptop mine is lagging whenever I use the emulator. It is a 4 GIG RAM HP Laptop

Mine is also 4GB. I don't use AVD, I use my android phone for debugging. It is more better. The screenshot above is from my phone, I downloaded the app directly from my PC with the aid of USB.

If you need help to use your android phone to test your app, let me know.

That's good it will be easier for you to understand cos you already familiar to Java. Kotlin and Java are interoperable, which means It allows you to call Java code in Kotlin and vice versa. Google also recommend it for developing Android app. There are so much of available documentations on the language which Google developers have provided for you and I to read and practice everyday for us to jumpstart our career as a mobile application developers.

Here is my first android app. A "Population Projector". I haven't published it yet though.

In the screenshot below, I projected the population of Nigeria in 2021, using 2006 population figure (140M) and Nigeria's annual growth rate of 2.5.

There are more agberoos in the UK than in Nigeria. I can remember their behaviour during 2018 FIFA world cup.

Honestly,I would have just commented that the economy is very bad and sympathize with people who are struggling to keep their family running,but when I read the response the op gave the guy that commented first,I got the feeling that the op wanted to gather people together to start wailing and cursing the government.he never wanted to get information on how to survive the economy

With the situation of the economy and the increase in prices of commodities, I am always wordering how parents (especially teachers) with children survive.

I am a single corper and the monthly 33k is not enough for me. Many of my corper colleagues are also complaining. WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE WHO HAVE CHILDREN? Does your family eat three square meals a day? What do you do when your children fall sick? How do you pay school fees. How?
