I have been operating the account since March.. I've not been deported... yet. hope it remains that way though

So I contact customer support.
Even if it say 48 hours time do not wait, just contact support, they will reset it for you. They will also ask you to use chrome for it not Firefox,

Also do not do it on mobile browser, else the error will keep popping up after resetting. If error persist after resetting, contact them again to reset it.

Clearing of cache will not work if you have exceed your limit. They are the ones to reset it.

me too, support told me to clear cache change password and verify, but still yet the problem still persist. I just tire.

Even after retrying after three days, it still displays that same message. I am contacting support right now.

Contact customer service, they will tell you to clear your cookies and also to use Chrome in incognito mode and it will magically work

I also had the 48 hours issue when my Google voice number was rejected, probably due to the issue with my US forwarding number. However, i was able to verify my account with my skype number after 48 hours.
If you try after 48 hours and it doesn't allow you just yet, try with another browser or use "incognito" tab in Google chrome or use epic browser.

Very informative OP. I actually have a friend who applied this same tips outlined and got a little above $100 as a new seller in few weeks. Always stay online, can't stress this enough.

Ensure you are not using a phone to register. I was able to verify my own with my airtel line even when my US number failed to verify. I got a US number yet it wasn't going through. I also tried MTN and it didn't work, but the people i have told to use airtel line confirmed it works perfectly. so check it out

I was able to resolve it, the error was from my browser. Thanks though

I was ablr to fix it, I had to visit a cafe in my school as you suggested to try it and it was verified once. I guess the problem is from my laptop, it could be browsers issue cos i never thought the issue was from them. Thanks for the advice
