Ike Ekweremadu is the Deputy Senate President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, not the DSP of the PDP. It would be tantamous to disloyalty to his boss to walk out on him. You people need to learn politics before you start showing your ignorance. |
Politics › Re: Is Akpabio Leading PDP Senate Caucus To Destruction?? by hinwazaka: 5:08pm On Oct 29, 2015 |
You are so dumb you can't see a brilliant strategy. Its obvious that everything was planned. By not questionning Amaechi, the PDP made it clear they were not going to partake in an exercise that was being fostered and sponsored by the executive. And to butter it up, they staged a walk out to show they had nothing to do with the confirmation. It is similar to Pontius Pilate washing his hands off the execution of Jesus Christ. Maybe you are too much of a zombie to notice what smart people call INDEPENDENCE. |

The President, through a speech delivered by his SGF, Babachir Lawal, yesterday said that the spate of BOMBBLASTS would continue, even beyond the purported December deadline. The SGF, made this known, while leading a delegation to hospitals, palaces and government houses of Adamawa and Borno states. The President was quoted as saying that even after the displaced individuals of the two respective states had been returned to their villages, there would still remain " VITAL TESTS AND CHALLENGES ". The President , in his message said that all Nigerians should join hands with the security agencies and the government in ending the terror of the Boko Haram sect http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/buhari-bombings-will-last-longer-than-december/116353.html This has been denoted by experts and stakeholders as a sharp contrast to the promises of the President prior to the elections. http://sunnewsonline.com/new/apc-govt-will-tackle-boko-haram-within-2-months-buhari/ Although many claim such should not be used to denigrate the body language APC government, because afterall, the President has since cleared the air on his Gaffe http://www.kemifilani.com/2015/04/see-this-untrue-statement-bbc-cnn-made.html?m=1 In time we will be able to see if truly Boko Haram will finally become a page in our history |

Politics › 'God Forbid', Usani Uguru, Ministerial Nominee Apologizes After Saying That by hinwazaka(op): 9:43am On Oct 28, 2015 |
By Henry Umoru & Joseph Erunke
ABUJA—The Cross River State ministerial nominee, Mr. Usani Uguru, drew the ire of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, senators yesterday after he said ‘God forbid’ to claims that he had once belonged to the party.
His confirmation was further put in jeopardy after furious PDP senators pointed out gaffes in his documentation, including his tax clearance papers and the lack of an asset declaration certificate.
Uguru was one of six nominees screened yesterday at the Senate with the remaining five scheduled to be screened today.
One of the nominees, Zainab Ahmed, a foster sister of Governor Nasir el-Rufai, representing Kaduna State, missed one of the lines of the National Pledge when she was asked to recite it, yesterday.
Ahead of the conclusion of the screening, PDP senators and their All Progressives Congress, APC, counterparts were last night perfecting their strategies to push forward the two most contentious nominees, Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and Uguru, who fell into harm’s way by his utterances.
The other nominees screened by the Senate yesterday were Adewole Folorunsho, Osun; Bawa Bwari, Niger; Geoffrey Onyema, Enugu, and Mansur Mohammed Ali, Zamfara.
Uguru had in his introductory remark noted how he had traversed the country building relationships.
Asked if he had done that on the platform of PDP, to which he was alleged to have been a member, he responded “God forbid,” causing uproar among senators of both parties.
While APC senators started laughing, PDP senators were furious.
Noticing the agitation among PDP senators, Uguru quickly offered his apologies, but it did not soothe the anger in the PDP benches. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/10/ministerial-nominees-gaffe-puts-him-in-trouble/ |
Politics › Body Language Rocks, As Fuel Scarcity Hits Ondo by hinwazaka(op): 8:11am On Oct 28, 2015 |
The body language of the strong man president seems to have lost some of its vitality in some parts of Nigeria, like Ondo state where a litre of petrol now goes for a 100 naira, due to the scarcity being experienced in the state. Residents of Akure woke up to see the fuel stations locked up, and the only stations selling, were doing so at a rate of 100 naira per litre, instead of the agreed 87 naira per litre regulated price. To make matters, worse, some sharp men who have no fear for the body language of our President, were reported to be hoarding the product in anticipation of a further worsening of the present situation, so as to make massive gains http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/fuel-now-n100-per-litre-as-scarcity-hits-ondo/223907/? |
Politics › Why The Tribunals Upheld Ajimobi's Victory by hinwazaka(op): 7:44am On Oct 28, 2015 |
This article got me cracking this morning. It was so funny I couldn't stop laughing. The APC will have us believe that Ajimobi is the best thing since fried rice to the people of Oyo. Even with the One term curse of the Oyo governors hanging over Oyo like the sword of Damocles, this fraudulent Govenor, managed to escape, and the reason for this, is that people love him. In Oyo, ladoja's political machine is unbeatable, especially with Adedibu gone. In a free and fair election, there is no way Ajimobi could have scored even 10% of what he scored. The APC is playing with fire and sooner than later, it is going to get burnt. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/10/why-tribunal-upheld-ajimobis-election/ |

So many fools do not know how an election is won, but they are the first to proclaim Peterside, king of Rivers. Without the strongmen of rivers on his side, Peterside's ambition is as good as dead. This is where Amaechi burnt all his bridges. Come election day, Amaechi will tell rivers people, between him and the men who guard rivers state, which is mightier. |

He should pick it up and stop using morons like the Op to make noise on Nairaland. Do you know how money and time consuming it is to do the same thing twice. juicee1: so senseless.
I think ibos think too much of themselves that's why they have too many problems. To the silly OP, ibo men are the ones snatching ladies from other tribes, yet FFK is busy changing ibo ladies.
I was astonished today when an ibo lady referred to a yoruba guy as ofe mmanu while they were greeting each other. The yoruba guy didn't know the meaning so he saw no harm in the word. He just greeted her in a friendly manner. Why did she call him a derogatory name when he didn't offend her? That shows the level of hate and tribal bigotry worrying the ibo tribe.
I also experienced thesame thing at work last week when the ibo colleagues of mine called me ofe mmanu just to refer to me as a yoruba guy. I just laughed at their stupidity and acted like I didn't understand the meaning. To them, they have ridiculed me. To what end or gain? Nothing.
It's the above silly and stupid attitude of theirs that make them get suyanized in the north, flogged in the SW and rejected in the SS. Imagine insulting someone in his own domain all cos they feel no one understands their language.
The ibos need to look within to discover that the dagger they have lodged in their throat has their right hand pushing it deeper. SHUTUP your oduduwa mouth. FFK sacked his wife and his children just to get a taste of a real woman. Keep on hating, you are irrelevant and the igbos you fear so much will forever be better than you and your generations unborn. Anuofia |

Dannyset: And who said this is a fact riddled article? This just the reasoning of one APC antagonist. Well, you can bookmark this write up. Wike is losing out! You don't know how elections are done in Rivers, but you are still talking. Amaechi and peterside can brag and deceive you, but come judgement day, you will, with your two eyes see Amaechi on TV screaming about electoral malpractice and absence of Result sheet. That's when you will finally get it. |
