Bolustic: Why won't these three banks close branches down when there are no more slush monies to do business. Tell me GTBank, First Bank, UBA and others who don't SOLELY rely on laundered monies would close down branches.
These banks managements have been fingered and troubled by the EFCC for the past one year.
This recession is going to open many people's dirty yansh, if you think I'm joking, ask Emeka Offor, Sola Ayeni and other PDP made overnight billionaires na your type dey advice people to start trekking because it is an exercise rather than driving cars if apc increased fuel cost to 800/litre all in the name of supporting APC. |

Pls can the past be? Let's salvage the current and plan for the future. Our past didn't just start with PDPs last 16 years. There have been very useless, corruption filled military years of Northern Nigeria leadership including Buharis'. Limiting our past to recent 16years can only be reasoned by Zombies. But like I said, it is the present and the future we have to collectively work out! |

eph12: There are procedures institutions like EFCC must follow to achieve their goals. If they don't they will create the wrong impression. During the last administration people complained about Marlyn Ogar and the DSS as a tool used against the oppositions. This is repeating itself again. very true. And if care is not taken, the cycle will continue to the detriment of the country. |
Politics › Re: Ibrahim Shema Blasts EFCC For Declaring Him Wanted by Hiploko(m): 6:18am On Sep 16, 2016 |
From May 2015, it has been different newspaper headlines. Dasuki $2.1b, Metuh 800 trillion pounds, Fanikayode 3trillion dollars, etc. Once it is released, Nigerians become busy all through that week debating the figures. Like joke like joke, its almost 2years. Buratai and Dambazzau have been mentioned. EFCC did 'eye pass'. Now they are busy with PEJ and Shema. Please let them remember that karma exists. Barely 2 years into this government Karma has caught up with them regarding dollar price, job losses, fuel price/queue etc which they used to de-market PDP in 2015. With the situation in Nigeria, APC is bound to loose the 2019 elections and a new government will be elected. They too can start detaining and harassing APC leaders. |

princemillla: And where is Nigeria after the ones u listed serve her aside from utomi? U didn't make sense At all. There are thousands of world class economists that would turn the nation around for good. Most of them RE on nairaland, but they prefer to bash every government. Wasted generation how will they help turn around when they have not been enabled? If only Osinbade and ALL members of this APC government will spend 6hours a day on nairaland to learn, our country will be good again. Happy recession! |
Politics › Re: Recession: FG Summons Emergency Session Over Economy by Hiploko(m): 7:27am On Sep 15, 2016 |
PassingShot: Nice development! Reflating the economy requires emergency interventions of different kinds.
Sell government assets (beginning with some presidential planes), borrow money (but at low interest rate) and inject in productive sectors, use some of the recovered loots (from Patience Jonathan, Dasuki, Akpobolokemi, Nenadi Usman, mettuh, etc) to address some of our immediate needs. And very soon, our economy will be on real growth and development.
See the useless Ngozi suggesting Nigeria look inward to tackle the economic woes! Why couldn't she ensure they do same? Instead, she was busy signing import waivers on luxury goods and giving money to Dasuki. May Amadioma strike your mouth!
These pained frustrated sadists, na una go tire. Your lords (the Ineffectual Buffoon and his Puff Puff useless minister of finance) put us in this mess.
The useless administration met over $47 bn in our foreign reserves, sold crude at above $100 per barrel on the average, took external loan for projects and fighting insurgency.
What did they do with the loans they took? What did they do with $17bn from the FR? What about the ECA? What of the loans for projects and insurgency? They looted all but you expect a magic the moment they lost!
At the end of the day, the good-for-nothing president and the shameless minister could only manage to leave about $27bn in our foreign reserves, unpaid pensions of FG retirees, borrowed money to pay salaries of FG workers, allowed BH to control three states in Nigeria.
If all described above does not mean failure, I don't know what else is.
The years between 2011 and 2015 is better forgaotten in the life of our dear nation. taaaa stop ranting. You are making noise. You have been in power since 2015. What has been achieved if not for increase in the prices of everything that makes life comfortable for the masses. Where is ur free meal/day, N3m jobs etc... Fraudsters |
