Hello everyone, I'm new here.

First of, thank you to every contributors here, I read from page 600 till here and I've learnt new things together with what I had researched, nonetheless, I still have further questions.

1. How much (or range) do I have to have in my account to show proof of funds for student visas?

2. How much (or range) is the medical insurance for student visas too? If you could pls add some examples, it'd be helpful.

3. About the Police report, how can one get it? Do I just walk into any police station and request for it or it has to be an headquarters or somewhere else? If there's an example of a place, pls suggest. I stay in Ibadan so I can work with Lagos too.

4. On the Medical report, can it be together with the Radiological report too or separately? Name of health centers I can do that too? (Price range pls?)

5. I have read about accommodation reservation here but I didn't see any website, can someone help with that too?

6. Finally, for the Birth certificate, will the one from NPC suffice?

Pls keep in mind my questions are for student visa. Thank you so much. I look forward to the replies.

Hey guys. Been a while here.

Pls I need someone to bring me to pace. The last page I'm reading now (353) kinda makes it look like there visa appointment dates for our folks because I can see the blocked account discussion.

If true, pls is there a new way to go about it to get appointment date? I've started in Bremen but still in Nigeria like most folks here so I've been quite busy. Now I have time and it's very frustrating that I'm still here even with the semester break now.

Pls someone should help me out and bring me to pace. Thank you.

Evening guys.

I heard something of recent. Someone told me that a student can enter Germany claiming he's there just for visiting purposes and once he's in Germany he can go to his school and change the Visiting Visa to a Student Visa.

Wanna ask if that's possible?

And also if there's anything like a Visiting Visa as regards travelling to Germany?

Thanks for your response.

Lol, they would send you packing.

In seriousness, it's not possible to do that. Also, the "visiting visa" is called Schengen Visa and as it stands, major European countries are not issuing that now because of Covid.

Please, who has successfully used TK health insurance? I applied online and it's almost a week now but I don't know what step to take next. I need the proof of insurance for my online enrollment.

Hello there, in your Email, check under "Promotions". I found mine there, yours might be there too. For some reasons, Gmail thought it's a promotional email so they didn't place it under my "Primary".

Also, you might have to trace it down to the day you applied for the health insurance or the day after. Hopefully it'd be there.

i applied since one week now, and I have not gotten response from them. Could it be because I didn’t upload the document?

Pls I'd like to ask if there's anyone that used/using AoK insurance for their health insurance.

I'd like some clarity on the form.
Thanks in anticipation

Please house, the school I applied for is requesting for hardcopy of my documents. I don't no if DHL is working during this period and any idea of the price? Germany is my destination pls..thanks in advance.

DHL is active.
Price range should be around 20-26k max.
They do give student price (once you tell them you're sending to a University there).

Success.

Geodetic Engineering. I applied since January. They sent a mail in April to upload my cv using the required format and nothing since then.
Have you heard anything since you applied?

Is the application for Winter semester? If yes, you should have an update soon. Latest this month or early next month.
Best of luck.

I got masters admission at university of boon under ecumenical studies, that's for pastoral and theology students. Don't know much about the varsity.

Congratulations. While there might be someone here from that University or someone who knows about it, I guess you can google about the location and some other information you want.

Also, pls, when did you receive the admission letter?
Was it this week?

I'm an applicant too although for LIMES.

Hope this helps.

Good morning guys. Pls this is urgent.

I got a mail for FSU Jena this morning to submit some documents. For those that applied there, pls, how did you get the certificate

I already followed the link, registered and have an account on the portal, but THERE'S PRACTICALLY NOTHING THERE. I've clicked everything click-able and I couldn't find any test or means to take it.

Pls for those that are familiar with it, pls help me out. I have until 31st and I guess the earlier the better.

There's a person who gained admission on here to the same school, I'd search the thread, but in the main time, pls if you can help me out, I'd really appreciate.

Have a great week everyone.

well I did an interview with university of gottingen yesterday and it went well. I was asked why I picked the school, my future career, why I didn't perform well in my lower level in the university days. It's not really difficult.

Also, have you been given an admission now?

Hi guys, what are the chances of being called for interview this winter 2020 if I choose Category B?

Also, please can someone explain most of the abbreviations, I tried getting them by going through previous posts but everyone seems used to it so their full meanings were not there. Thanks.

List the abbreviations you want to know the meaning of and folks would help out. You didn't list anything. A lot of things are abbreviated here.

Please how can I locate the application form I am to use for the German consulate?

I do not seem to locate it on the university website as I was told at the consulate that the application form from the school should come along with all the documents I want to certify. I will have to reschedule.

University: Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus
MSc Environmental and Resource Management

Please your help is much appreciated.

Thank You

Chief, I'm guessing you're the one I met at the consulate earlier this week. You're from FUTA.

Well, I checked the school's & course website for you, I couldn't find an application form. There's an email for inquiries for those sending through uniassist though. I guess you could message them to explain and they'd help out.

Success

Yes the Bsc program is English taught. So applying with just 0levels and applying with 100level transcript together with 0levels is the same thing?

You have to attach the two sir.
They won't take you if you don't have 100L transcripts attached to your O'levels and vice versa.

Pls do pay attention if you've have to certify the documents too.

Best of luck.

Well if I should use my 100lvl transcript and 0level result to apply will that eliminate the news for IELTS or any other English language certification?

Is the Bsc. course English-taught? Most German Bsc courses are German-taught.

If yours is in English, I'm afraid you'd have to write IELTS to prove your English proficiency.

Your school would give you an English Proficiency Letter if you finished there. So...

Hello Guys ! Please can anyone confirm if the winter application has commenced at UNIBREMEN?

Go to the school website, locate your course and you'd see the application dates/deadlines. It varies for different courses.

Most unibremen MSc courses closed by April though.
