A couple who share videos of themselves having sex say the experience has made their relationship stronger.

Fernanda Vasconcelos and Walter Gutierrez have built an online following of fans on a website where lovers can post clips of "real-world" sex.

They say the user-generated video-sharing platform, Make Love Not Porn, fights all the misconceptions of the typical X-rated clips all over the internet.

The couple have told how the experience has helped to get them through personal trauma and bring them closer together.


Walter said: “It’s to show real people having real-world sex and fighting all the misconceptions that come from porn.”

Fernanda, who is known online as Efi, added: “It’s like this sex utopia where people don’t have taboos or boundaries or walls in front of them. It’s just real people having fun, being themselves, and just making the most of it.

“I like to turn to the camera now and then between the filming to make the ones that end up watching the videos involved in it.

“We even plan it like, ‘Oh, maybe you can put on these and we can do it on the sofa or we can make it like a really cool spot on the floor, or the window'."

The couple, from Mexico City, have been together 11 years, and while friends and bosses know about their online exploits, they are yet to reveal it to their religious parents.

For now, they say sharing their sex lives has helped them in powerful ways, most notably by helping Efi 'reclaim her sexuality' after being sexually assaulted during a gynaecologist visit.

She said: “I was so ashamed and I felt like my body didn’t have value after that. I started crying when we were having sex because I was trying to heal myself. I didn’t tell anyone.”

Efi eventually told Walter, who had noticed something was terribly wrong, about her horrific experience.

He said: “It was hard to really know how to react to that situation. I was thinking a lot of things ranging from finding the guy to going to the authorities.

“But in Mexico the justice system simply doesn’t work in favour of the victims. It’s easier here in Mexico to blame the victim.

“So there wasn’t really much we could do. I really tried to do my best. I just tried to be there.”

In 2013, Walter came across Make Love Not Porn after its founder and CEO, Cindy Gallop, gave a TED Talk introducing the platform.

Something about the prospect of using the website resonated with Efi, who said she hated watching porn after her assault, due to it being “all about domination and submitting women to something.”

She said: “Finding Make Love Not Porn made me think it could help other women to find out what sex is really about.

“At first, I had my doubts because of course I didn’t know if I wanted to show my body to someone besides Walter.

“But we made a video and submitted it and it had a really good response. I just instantly felt a little better about myself and about everything – about sex, about us.”

Cindy spent 30 years in the advertising industry before creating Make Love Not Porn, and envisions her platform as a tool to help society think differently about sex.

She started the site in 2009 after noticing that the younger men she dated - often in their 20s - had sexual expectations heavily influenced by the easy availability of hard core pornography.

She said: “I realised I was experiencing what happens when two things converge - when total access to hardcore porn online meet our society’s equally total reluctance to talk honestly and openly about sex.

“We are not porn. We are not amateur. We are building a whole new category on the internet that has never previously existed: social sex.”

The Police on Friday arraigned a 29-year-old dry cleaner, Benjamin Ayuba in a Kubwa Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, for allegedly selling his customer’s clothes.

The defendant of Kubwa, Abuja, was docked for alleged criminal breach of trust. The prosecutor, John Okpa, told the court that one Abubakar Abdullahi of Department of State Services (DSS), FCT Command reported the matter at the Kubwa Police Station on Aug. 3.

He said the complainant on May 8, entrusted nine wears valued at N119, 000 to the defendant to wash for him. He further said the defendant dishonestly sold the said clothes and converted the money to his personal use.

The prosecutor said the offence contravened the provisions of Section 312 of the Penal Code.
The defendant however pleaded not guilty. The defence counsel, Anenin Enabosi urged the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal terms, assuring the court that a reasonable surety would be provided.

The judge, Abdulwahab Mohammed, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200, 000, with one surety in like sum, that must reside within the court’s jurisdiction.

He adjourned the matter until Sept. 17 for hearing.

Calgary police are probing the death of a man who died following an altercation with border officers as they were trying to deport him.
Police, who have not publicly identified the man, said it will be months before full details can be released about the man’s death.

But documents from the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada Immigration Division identify the man as a Nigerian citizen who had been engaged in a lengthy battle to stay in Canada.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is not naming the man until his next of kin have been notified.

An autopsy performed Wednesday did not confirm a cause or manner of death. Further testing can take up to six months, said Staff Sgt. Colin Chisholm with Calgary Police Service’s homicide unit.

“We will do a complete, thorough investigation. These investigations take time, and like any investigation, especially in this investigation, we’re going to wait for official autopsy results to come back,” Chisholm told reporters at a news conference yesterday.

The man was on board a KLM flight destined for Amsterdam when he had an altercation with two CBSA officers who were trying to remove him from the country.

The altercation took place prior to takeoff from Calgary. The plane was forced to return to the gate, where the CPS airport unit was called to the scene.

Officers found the 49-year-old man in medical distress. He was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, the altercation with the border officers took place around 3 p.m. He was officially declared dead an hour and a half later.

The two CBSA officers were taken to hospital with minor injuries. They have since been released.

The plot to frustrate Governor Samuel Ortom after his daring move to defect from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, took a dramatic turn Tuesday following indication that the state government’s bank accounts have been frozen by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Vanguard gathered that the government accounts were frozen by the anti graft agency on the premise that the Governor’s security vote was being investigated.

A combined team of the Police and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have reportedly arrested and detained the sacked Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura.

Reports say Daura was arrested just shortly after he was sacked by the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo for “breaching national security.”

The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, had, earlier on, directed the immediate termination of the appointment of Daura with immediate effect following the invasion of the National Assembly chambers by masked men of the DSS.

A statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Office of the Vice President, Laolu Akande, in Abuja, Tuesday, stated that Mr. Daura has been directed to hand over to the most senior officer of the State Security Service until further notice.

Osinbajo had said in the statement, ““Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has described the unauthorized takeover of the National Assembly complex earlier today as a gross violation of constitutional order, rule of law and all acceptable notions of law and order.

“According to him, the unlawful act which was done without the knowledge of the Presidency is condemnable and completely unacceptable.
“By this statement, Professor Osinbajo is consequently assuring Nigerians that all persons within the law enforcement apparatus who participated in this travesty will be identified and subjected to appropriate disciplinary action.”

A White man who a Nigerian lady met in a hospital in Lagos State, has been accused of threatening to infect Nigerian girls with HIV.
According to Twitter user @zterem, the White man alleged that he was infected with the virus by a Nigerian lady. Her tweet reads;

Lagos Females o. I am in the hospital right now…Somebody gave one Oyibo man HIV… He said he Will give you people back this night. Thanks.

Few years ago, James Turner, a 67-year-old Irish national based in Nigeria, said he slept with no fewer than six other ladies. Turner is the man accused by his 31-year-old Nigerian girlfriend of deliberately infecting her with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus, HIV.

Turner also confessed to have sent his wife back to the Republic of Ireland, when his status was confirmed, in order not to infect her with the virus. It was gathered, during interrogation that among the girls the suspect had slept with was his girlfriend’s friend. The concerned ladies, it was gathered, were all commercial sex workers.
However, unconfirmed reports said he had slept with more than six ladies. His girlfriend, identified simply as Helen, reported Turner to the police last Friday, after the latter reneged on his promise to settle the former with N2.5 million.

Helen said that she stumbled on the anti-retroviral drugs her lover of eight years had been secretly taking, four months after his status was confirmed.

However Turner insisted that Helen infected her with the virus, pointing out that she might have contacted the virus from Kaduna State, where she spent some months to sell a property in 2013, same year he was confirmed to be HIV positive. But asked why he hid the anti-retroviral drugs from Helen, he kept mum. He was released on bail, weekend, to treat himself of an injury he sustained on one of his elbows, from which he was bleeding.

A father has killed himself on a live web stream watched by thousands of people after his wife left him and took their children with her.

He recorded his own death in the town of Pataudi in the northern Indian state of Haryana.
According to a police statement, Amit Chauhan, who was only 27, began a Facebook Live stream shortly after his wife walked out on him, taking their two children with her.

In the first of two live streams, both posted in a span of 15 minutes, he told viewers that he would kill himself on camera and asked them to share the footage with others.

However, the video ended abruptly.
In the second clip, he was seen killing himself.
Both videos have been viewed around 5,000 times and shared over 50 times.

Amit’s parents heard about the incident late at night and cremated his body early in the morning without informing the authorities.
Police spokesperson Subhash Boken said the police heard about the incident after an anonymous call around 10pm.

Mr Boken added: ‘[The wife] left her in-laws home on Monday after a tiff with her husband and called her parents, who took her to their house in a village near Sohna.

‘Anguished, Chauhan hanged himself and he posted a video of the suicide on Facebook.’
He said he was ‘in depression’ and ‘being treated’.

Deputy commissioner Sumit Kuhar said: ‘The family had already cremated the body in the village and they said he was mentally disturbed and was undergoing treatment for last six months.’

Since his death was reported, local authorities have launched an investigation.

A mum left with horrific facial injuries after being mauled by a dangerous dog has slammed its owners who said she was to blame.
Sylvia Baillie, 62, was left with deep wounds to her face after being attacked by Patrick Maher and Leeane McHugh’s American Akita called Kioshi.

Three-year-old Kioshi locked his jaws on Sylvia’s face while she was at the couple’s Paisley home following a funeral in July 2016, scarring her for life.

Maher, 47, was jailed for 12 months along with his partner Leeane McHugh, 37.
Now out of prison, Maher said Sylvia brought the attack on herself – claims she branded as “absolute rubbish”, reports the Daily Record .
Maher said: “They said we stood back and did nothing but it all happened in a matter of seconds. It wasn’t our fault.

“She was leaving and the dog was behind the couch sleeping. She patted me on the back and the dog stood up and then put its front paws on the back of the couch.”

He added Sylvia then “went to give it a kiss” but “sort of fell” towards the dog before it bit her.
Sylvia had been preparing to leave the house when the dog pounced on her.
It only let go when her daughter ran into the room and pulled it away.

Sylvia came round in hospital two days later and had to be fed through a tube. She said she felt lucky to be alive.

The surgeon who operated on her said he had never seen a dog bite so severe and medics had lost count of the amount of stitches required to save her face.


Her injuries left her unable to look at herself in the mirror and since the incident, she has only been able to drink through a straw.
The mum, who used to love going out to bingo or for dinner, was left embarrased to leave the house. She still suffers panic attacks and flashbacks, has had to have counselling and now has a fear of dogs.

Reacting to Maher’s claims, Sylvia said: “I don’t think anyone would attempt to kiss an Akita. I bent over the couch to shake Maher’s hand to thank him for taking me to the crematorium and the next thing I saw was the dog jump over the couch right on to my face. I never antagonised it.

“They didn’t try to help me. He did a runner with the dog, she just stood there. It was my daughter who pulled the dog off me and phoned the ambulance.

“The house was like a bloodbath. I lost about two days. It was my daughter who had to tell me everything. He’s talking a load of rubbish and trying to pass the buck. I’m the victim.
“I don’t know why he would make these claims after two years. I’m very angry at the accusations.

“I’m scarred – physically and mentally – and still having to take Valium.”

After two years of legal battle, four policemen are to die by hanging for killing a commercial motorcycle operator in 2016 on Goodluck Jonathan Boulevard, Akwa Ibom State.

The four convicted policemen are, Inspectors Moses Akpaete, Idoko Sampson, Corporals Enobong Udo and Godwin Nnanna.

They had since been dismissed from the force as they last served at the ‘C’ Division of the Akwa Ibom Police Command.

The trial judge, Justice Ifiok Ukana, found the officers guilty of conspiracy in the murder of one Felix Akpan of Ibiakpan in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of the state.

It was learned that the officers, while on patrol, shot at the late motorcyclist for allegedly refusing to stop for “settlement.” The motorcyclist was accused of operating along areas marked “prohibited” in Uyo.

The Police in Adamawa State have stopped a peaceful protest organised by the state Christian Association of Nigeria.

The protest called by the CAN Chairman, Adamawa State, Bishop Stephen Mamza, on Wednesday drew a large turnout from Christians who trooped to St. Theresa Catholic Church, the venue initially planned for the take-off of the procession.

But Mamza, shortly before the take-off of the protest scheduled for 9am told the congregants who had turned up for the protest that the police had canceled it.

CAN said the protest was to draw the government’s attention to the protection of human lives whether Christian, Muslim or Fulani. He gave an instance of the recent attacks in Mayo-Belwa which claimed the lives of several Fulani.

CAN also spoke against the Federal Government’s neglect of the state on matters of security. It said the FG’s silence was disturbing because the killings have not abated.

Two female nominated members of the county assembly, Kenya exchanged blows at the assembly cafeteria yesterday, allegedly over a man.

Beef between the two, who were nominated by the ruling Jubilee Party to represent the youth and minority, started outside the precinct of the assembly on Monday.

One of their colleagues told The Grapevine that the two have been feuding over a man whom they have been seeing separately.

Tempers flared when one of the ladies who is said to be the daughter of a former MP stormed the cafeteria baying for the blood of her nominated colleague- who was shouting “ Huyu ni wazimu (This one is crazy)! She needs help! Please help her seek help! As she fled for safety.

Colleagues who were having lunch dashed out of the cafeteria shouting for help from the assembly security officials.

The two were separated but not before exchanging slaps and kicks. The assembly leadership is investigating the matter.
