Popular comedian and actor, Ayo Makun, known by his stage name, AY, has opened up on losing 500 million Naira to a nightclub business which did not permit smoking.

He said during a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo that the nightclub crashed after a huge investment.

According to AY, his wife advised him against the decision but he refused to heed and he later regretted not listening.

Legendary Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, has mourned the death of his grandson, Kambilichukwu Edochie.

Kambilichukwu died on Wednesday, March 29, two months after his parents, Yul and May Edochie, celebrated his 16th birthday.

Confirming the sad news to Vanguard, the actor said his son, Yul, called him on the telephone on Wednesday, informing him that Kambilichukwu fell down while playing football with his school mates and developed a seizure.

According to him, the deceased was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital, Lagos, where he died hours later.

The veteran actor said his family started praying for the child immediately Yul called him on the telephone about the sad incident.

“Kambilinachukwu is a very quiet, brilliant and talented child. He’s not somebody you can ride easily. He doesn’t get angry no matter the situation,”

Edochie said.

Nollywood actors Adeniyi Johnson and Seyi Edun’s twins private naming ceremony was filled with joy, tears, dance and appreciation from the latest parents.

Seyi Edun penned an appreciation post to the public for celebrating her and her husband following their bundle of joy.

Taking to Instagram, Seyi Edun shared a video of her and her husband with their twin boy and girl. She noted how their birth is the Lord’s doing and it’s marvelous in their sight. She captioned:

“It’s the Lord’s doing and it’s marvelous in our sight.

Mummy twins and Daddy twins say Thank you all”.

Recall we reported on Tuesday, February 28th that actor, Adeniyi Johnson and his wife, Seyi Edun had welcomed twins after 7 years of waiting.

The excited father took to his Instagram page to share the good news with his fanmily.

A heartbroken father laments the number of Nigerians that sent their condolences to him when lost his child compared to when he gave birth to the baby.

A Twitter user identified as @IamOwolewa took to the platform to express the hurt due to turn out of people in his darkest hours.

The father made this known in a reply to an individual who stated that the politician, Banky W got more attention when he lost his election than when he was campaigning.

“That is what Nigerians do to you. Some 2yrs ago, when me and my wife had a new baby, the people that called me or visited me when the baby died after 6 months were much more than those that congratulated me when the baby arrived,”

Nollywood actress, Uche Nancy has shared a touching testimony of how God healed her from her health issues.

The movie producer and costumier revealed that throughout last year, she was having serious health issues and took series of tests.

She was later diagnosed with Arthritis and was placed on medication, however, the pain remained constant and on some days, she had difficulty moving.

Her kids decided to move her to another hospital, where it was discovered that something was on her right kidney.

After seeing a specialist and undergoing series of tests, she was confirmed to have a tumor in her right kidney and it was cancerous.

She revealed that the sad news weighed her down, but she relied on God’s word to save her.

Uche Nancy disclosed that she spent most of her days at the alter of fire, praying and worshipping with pastor, Jerry Eze of NSPDD.

The movie producer was told the affected area of her kidney would be cut off, almost half of her kidney.

Luck however smiled on her, after removal of the tumor, they discovered that it wasn’t cancerous. She captioned the video:

“God has restored health to me and healed me.

I have a TESTIMONY to share with you. Throughout last year, I was having health issues after a series of tests, I was diagnosed with Arthritis adj was placed on medication. However, the pain remained constant and on some days I had difficulty moving. My children decided I try another hospital, so we tried Evercare Hospital.

Upon meeting the doctor, I was advised to do a general checkup and MRI. The result stated that the Arthriy I had was minor, but to my greatest shock, the doctor said something was discovered in my right kidney and I needed to do more tests to confirm what it was.

I was directed to a specialist and after series of tests, it was confirmed I had a tumor in my right kidney and it may be cancerous.

Chinenye and I upon hearing this, were in complete shock and frightened. Chinenye cried so much not minding where she was and as I sat there deep in thought and wondering what was going to happen, I saw on the white wall; “Be strong Everything Written About You Is Great”.

This gave me strength for the days ahead.

Every morning I was at the alter of fire, praying and worshipping with pastor @jerryeze of NSPDD. We prayed together till Crossover 2023 and we were given a date for the operation.

We were told the affected area in my kidney will be cut-off, that’s half of my kidney, but after proper assessment and with the doctors recommendation, only the tumor was removed and the operation as you can tell went successfully.

After removal of the tumor, they were examined to check if it was cancerous and I am happy to let you know that it was a BENIGN TUMOR (NOT CANCEROUS).

This is what God has done for me and it is marvelous in my sight!
My children were with me till the very end; from diagnosis, operation and healing. They are my backbone and my biggest achievement”.

A father of three takes it upon himself to teach his daughters menstrual hygiene while also educating his son about respecting women.

Video making the rounds on social media captured the moment a father educated his children on the basics of life. The young man emphasized to his son on the different phases a man goes through in his life and why he should always respect women.

He pressed on to educate his daughters on puberty stage, and the changes in their body which would attract attention from their male counterparts.

The father of three demonstrated how to use a menstrual pad to his daughters to ensure an all-day hygiene when on their periods.

Netizens have taken a swipe at self-acclaimed journalist, Kemi Olulonyo after she did the unthinkable to the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Gregory Obi.

The controversial Olunloyo took to her Instagram page to share an edited picture of Peter Obi looking old and crying. On the picture, she wrote: ” INEC took my candy like a baby. Now I’m crying”. Her post comes days after Peter Obi cried on National TV during his press conference to address the 2023 general election.

The former Anambra State Governor confirmed he will be taking legal action after losing the 2023 presidential election, However, his actions got Netiznes emotional.

Sharing her opinion, Kemi Olunloyo advised the politician to start a Point of Sales business. She wrote:

“I heard Peter Obi was crying on National TV. For what? Nigeria is nobody’s candy🍭🍬Start a POS business. Supreme Court has kuku released the old Naira.”
