So I’ve been thinking about my application and it seems I’ve made some silly errors mostly financial. First, I applied way too long ahead of my travel date (4moths) which I was told it’s fine given the recent increase in processing times. Second, there was a transaction of 2.2m which I haven’t declared it alongside a few others. 3rd, I used wrong conversion rates for Naira to GBP. Btw I had tier 4 visa which expired 2019. Kindly advise.

Just a quick question. I applied for UK Visit visa and my planned travel date is Dec.23.2022, which makes it almost 4 months before travel date, is that going to affect my chances? I just saw it on the UKVI website that one can apply up to 3 months before their travel date.

I have been able to upload all the required documents, I went to summary only to realise that my date of birth changed to 01/01/1970. All attempt to correct and save proved abortive as it still returned back to the same date. Did anyone experience thesame problem? What can I do to correct this?

Is your date of birth the same or it changed ? mine keeps changing. Is anyone having the same issue?

u must be one hell of a genius ..... so you are saying the portal is the only means of communication? interesting. Those guys that were asked to update their profiles, how did they know about the update thing you damn well know it wasn't stated or displayed on their portal to make update but instead EMAIL and SMS was sent to each of them .... I dont want to sound mean, but if your portal is closed you are out of the race tbh. because if you guys can recall during aptitude test many guys didnt recieve the invitation mail but learnt about their shortlisting from their profile. Likewise if you will be invited for interview i believe ur profile status will be your guide. Is just like somebody waiting for alert when he dont even have a bank account. But its just my opinion though

For those of us complaining about not recieving notification email to check their account for updates, make sure you ticked the check box in your account dashboard to recieve email notifications and also input a valid email address in the space provided.

Once you do this, you will get the notification email to check you account once there is an update.

When did you applied? is it paper or online route?

"Unlawfully present in a country after the issued visa has expired" does that apply only to Canada or if you overstayed in any other country?

Okay here's my opinion
There's many reasons for in eligibility it solely depends on the visa officer but here are some few reasons, there are others though
Unlawfully present in a country after the issued visa has expired
Previously removed from a country
Documentations
Misrepresentation
Terrorism (security related grounds)
Health related grounds
Immigration Acts of the country
It all boils down to how convincing, truthful your application is to the visa officer

It is very normal. Your profile won't be updated until it is attended to by the VO. so just be calm.

Pls house, is it normal if my medical exam status hasn't been updated even though the IOM notified me that i'm all cleared? submitted on the 6th june (upfront medical via paper route)?

Okay got it last night!! Just when I had started to get concerned and posting questions on this forum. I didn't even call or email them. Took exactly three weeks. Officially approved by the school and offer of admission and full funding issued to me last night via email. God is good. Now I turn my eyes towards applying for a TRV. It shall end in praise. Hi. I applied for study permit on 8th June 2017 via VFS with upfront medicals. No updated as yet not even on medicals, is this normal?

You can pay by other means, email the school and ask them for other ways..... I hv a cousin there so he helped me pay from Canada.

Hi there. what program you got accepted into? I also got admitted MEng Petroleum Eng UofA Fall 2017 but thinking of deferring to winter 2018 incase i didn't get my study permit on time. how did pay the tuition so early? I thought they made mention on bear tracks that fees assessment will be available 3rd july. anyways I applied on the 8th June, paper route with an upfront, no police report and no update as yet. Here is a piece of advise for all yet to submit their application, you need to go through the pain of reading up early parts of this thread. do not be lazy and hoping to get all the info you need in a single post, read and learn.

Also, I created a table of content listing all the documents I have attached for my application and I ensured that I linked all the items in the table of content to their respective pages on the single document (Thanks to @thesoj for the idea). this makes it very easy for the VO to navigate to the specific documents he/she is interested in seamlessly.

Use google to answer most of your questions, read the past threads, do it yourself and above all have faith in God.

Hello House, I've tried validating my IMM1294 but it refused to saying I have to insert details of current employment and unfortunately i'm unemployed, anybody has similar issue? How do I go about that pls? Its urgent pls

Biometrics are done at the VFS centre when you submit your application.

No not medical request .... I mean Biometrics at the VFS centre, If for instance I submitted my application today, will I receive invitation email immediately after submission or it takes some time to get it?
