Wojciech is out for four weeks.... E don start From one game out to one week...now four weeks...I hope this isn't for the season |
Remember this? You've just got to love Santi
|
Theo wants to be a legend like Henry! Can he? Yes...if we works harder than he is doing right now and trust AW to assist in his development. He has improved over the years but he is still not an exceptional player. I will rather the contract wrangling is about wage increase, than for a player like Theo(who divides opinion among gooners) to be demanding which position he will play. |
Theo Walcott situation?? I don't think dude would sign any contract... I think he will be gone in January! AW just didn't want a third big player to depart after Alex Song and the former Feynoord player. I will be shocked if he signs the contract! |
proudly9ja: Zenit were willing to take him off us last summer but according to Zenit's chairman, "only Andre can tell why he is not with us now"There is something in London keeping a hold on AA23. I remember vividly when he first got to London, complaning about everything...from the weather to the food to the language...Now he doesn't want to leave.. Hmmmmn just wondering what it is... |
You have plenty people on nairaland who choose to believe the tabloids on anything at all. See someone here calling her an escort. If you ask about proof or evidence...the only reply you will get is 'I read it somewhere', ' or I know someone who knows her very well'.... |
is that the best you could come up with......what a tranny!!........lyk I said u should get a lyf negro....nuff said....
Bros, u be John Terry ![]() |

Ok...Good game... I have been waiting for this game since the fixtures were announced. I think we did very well and let in a silly goal. Special mention goes to Aaron Ramsey and the BFG(Per)...Outstanding throughout the match. But for me, the Motm was Carl Jenkinson(what a performance).Go and watch the game and see how he bossed the right hand channel like a movie script! Now, seriously speaking, not just based on this match,I have watched him since the season started,Sagna has a lot of work to do to reclaim that shirt! |
Thread opened? |
If we start this team on Match day, Wojciech,Sagna,Gibbs,Per,Vermaelen,Arteta,Diaby,Santi,Gerv,Poldi and Giroud...We could have Vito,Koscielny,Jekinson,Speedracer,Wilshere,Rosicky,Theo,Ox,Rambo and Coquelin on the bench!!! Perhaps our strongest bench in recent times! |
proudly9ja: Meanwhile...You have your answer here. Sagna returns to full training next week and Rosicky in two weeks time.
|
proudly9ja: Meanwhile...I think Rosicky and Bacary should be back by the end of the month. |
Hey..No one here is talking about the Return of Fletcher. Great to see him back If he can keep fit and return to his best form, he will be an important figure in Utd's season |
Arsenal fans can be really funny! One asked Arshavin on twitter via @Arsenal 'When Santi Cazorla is on your shoulder, is Per Mertasacker still taller'? ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Remember this dude... He will be back in England tonite to 'DESTROY' the red part of Scumland ![]()

Monsieur Wenger in the crowd ![]()

Gerv's celebration..wonder what it means
|
The team got a bit tired yesterday in the 2nd half...after a good first half when we got hold of the game after Montpellier went 1-0 ahead Podolski and Santi should have been withdrawn minutes before they were taken off... Good result and damn..weren't we lucky towards the end when Cabella decided to shoot straight at Manone after he had taken Per to the cleaners? Man citeh on sunday...enough rest before then! |
In other news, Jack Wilshere is back in training..soon to be joined by Bacary Sagna,Tomas Rosicky and Yaw Frimpong. Dear God, an injury free season..for once, Amen |
I don't mean to be a party pooper yo but remember the team you beat is rock bottom carrying the rest of the premiership on its able shoulders. Bottomline its too early for all this etighi dancing beat City next week however then maybe yall may be on to something
Strangely, you are wrong.I came in here, yesterday to see people celebrating this win, but didn't see much celebration. However, there isn't a big deal in celebrating a league victory. It's our thread and WE ARE Gooners. If others like, let them not celebrate after a win, it their biz |
Bwahahahahahaha mouths are running at Mach 5 cos una beat newly promoted team smh! Anyways I'm already home Deuces up playboy I'm chilling!
.. Same newly promoted team that led Man citeh at the Etihad stadium 2-1 with 20 minutes to go on the opening day. They lost narrowly 2-3 Same newly promoted team that man utd had to rely on the former Feynoord's star's briliance to come back from 1-2 down to win narrowly 3-2. First it was,'where would the goals come from, now that the former Feynoord star has gone'?now, its 'you only scored 6 goals against a newly promoted team' |
How many ex-players have been booed at Old Trafford, At Stamford bridge, At nou Camp, In San Siro, In Munich. Like I said Arsenal fans have the highest number of retardds globally@Dayokanu, I thought you had stopped making stoopid statements.Seems you still dey write and think later. Did you have cotton wool in your ears or your Tv was on mute when Gallas was being booed at Stamford Bridge or Tevez at Old Trafford..Let's even leave the EPL(the media hypes the rivalries so much and drive the fans to hate 'disloyal' players) and go to the la Liga..I guess Luis Figo was applauded when he left Barca for Real... |
coogar: it's the ethos of the entire team - the build up is too slow, they don't create enough clear cut chances for their strikers. how many chelsea strikers have thrived @ stamford bridge? is football all about lumping it in the air and expecting drogba to bully badstuber and lahm in the air? chelsea are a rich man's stoke! the football most times is like rugby...they have spent money, they should be playing like city, united and even arsenal!thanks coogar, I have been saying this to many of my chelsea friends for years...Thought with the likes of Oscar,Mata, Hazard,Marin,Moses etc arriving and the departure of 'Jambody masters' like Drogba and Essien, we will see some exciting 'tiki-takaish' football played at the Bridge...But Alas, it's still the same thing.Mark my words guys, Torres can't flourish in that kind of set up. |
dayokanu: Clichy? The same Clichy y'all wanted to Lynch?Clichy hasn't been booed at the Emirates since he left. Players who have been booed-Nasri, Adebayor,Cole...and its because of the stupid things they said before leaving.I can imagine the boos waiting for the Feynoord dude. Meanwhile, check out the reception given to Eduardo...dude held back tears when 60,000 spectators were clapping for him...They actually cheered when he scored against his old club. |
Just read this on the net...from an unhappy Liverpool fan. Santi Cazorla ia an absolute bargain at 15 million and probably the best bit of business done by any club in the window, already made an instant impact and has not had any problems settling into the premier league. Arsenal may be criticised sometimes for selling their best players but at least the club actually still benefits financially when players leave unlike Liverpool. Wenger knows how to buy a player cheap and then sell them on for 50 to 100% profit even if they are in their last year of a contract. It's the complete opposite with us, pay top dollar and sell them for a huge loss (or loan your record signing out with no replacement coming in). |
presido1: The day he realised his mistake of joining arsenal the so called faithfuls will wish him injury upon injury just like Iya Nasiru and others b4 and after him.My friend, good to hear from you.... I wonder why you guys are the one always talking about ex-Arsenal players....even when we have moved on... Well...for now santi is a gunner and he's loving life here! |
debosky: ^^To the tune of Y Viva Espana. Its a spanish tune. It was sung first at Anfield after his goal. Maybe the Arsenal faithfuls would sing it tomorrow |
MEANWHILE: He came all the way from sunny Spain santi Cazorla can't wait to do the Scum at White Hart Lane santi Cazorla when he's on the ball you know he's gonna score santi Cazorla cos Arsenal's the team we all adore cazorla por favor! cazorla por favor! cazorla por favor! cazorla por favor! (Repeat) |
proudly9ja: Back to Saturday's match,Abeg bros...back to footballing matters jare... I think we should play the Ox in that position or Coquelin,Ramsey isn't suited for that role at all(IMO) |
dayokanu: You are a very good asset to have in my corner.THIS..... Shaking my head |
