Speaking in tongues. What do you think?

Two weeks ago, I found myself inside Christ embassy (the school fellowship one.not sure what it's called) and felt as though I was possessed. I just couldnt stand the rhapsody of unfamiliar words and languages. Everyone had smthg to say except me, and it makes me wonder if this stuff is 4 real.

Am I just unfortunate that i haven't the gift or is there something we should know about the Holy Spirit and utterances?

Truth is I like this guy. The first time I heard him speak was 2 years ago when he reasonably discussed the ills of the Blair govt on ? time. twas spot on, Exactly what reasonably pp wud do. If he's got it n willing, let's give it a chance- it doesn't get any better.

Generalizing that such a huge amount of Nigerian citizens are bad ass baggas is so unacceptable and debilitating to the progress of 9ja that we all want.

1-9ja, I dont think it's healthy for the capricious and unfledged nature of Nigeria to make a topic of this. I thought we all agreed to promoting capable and responsible leaders within 9ja irrespective of their tribe.

This is very complicated for me, A true federation is indeed  one where states have autonomous powers to conduct the affairs of the people within its vicinity, while the federal govt is accorded wider powers of foreign policy, treasury, home affairs and the likes. (n of cos non interferance in state biznes)

I also understand that the way a state decides to run its affairs is entirely to its discretion, with of cos the ultimate directive of the constitution. So, laws, rules, their implementation and (all) be made by a state in accordance with the constitution and a commonsensical approach that is almost undeniable by rightful thinking people.

Are we ready to folllow the constitution in toto- the federal state structure and system? all of us?

Asides from the very worrying stories we've read about this state and its indubitably phychological provocations, and now, its egunguneranish position in the heart of Nigeria, the very worrying thing for me, about this state is its potential as a breeding estate for terrorist recruits-perhaps, i'm exaggerating issues.

Some argue that Nigeria is not a failed state because of the monopoly of power to supress dissidents, ehhhh, ehhhhh, mai ppp, shaine yur eyes ooo, open yur ears and mouth 4 dat matter . . .  so many hidden realities.

The title of this note brought memories of biafra, ehn, I love Nigeria so much, the diversity, the jokes n conflict- I dont want to lose her.  

I'm of a candid opinion that only the good things be imitated. With regards the situation, they are no role models for representative democracy. But how does that affect us practically as Nigerians . Is 9ja democratically representative enuf to even hold her governors to account? or is the media unbiased enuf to bring to display the sleaze in the 9ja government- We know these things abi?

The system as we know has created a vacuum that is implicitly and explicitly exploitable and that would be addressed soonest in the parliament. Plus, the very few admitting their mistakes have apologised and refunded the money accordingly.

That's absolutely ludicrous. Just a little investment in, and continuous management of the environment would do. It's about time we stopped looking to Nigeria for these trivial gains. We need real, positive, effective and long lasting initiative to pull thru decades, Plz, ask the guy to in another direction if he his really committed to improving lives.

What are we to blv, i understand from personal experience that Nigerian police are nothing to write home about and in fact, are in themselves symbols of public disorder.
