sliksusan:Please sir ,stop saying this as it is laughable.... Our passport is Weak because we dont have alot of visa free countries and diplomatic agreements with other nations.... Where I'm at now, American government come and beg to get workers...its advertised in our papers daily... farm workers, electricians, waiters, potters etc..... Our govt ruined Nigeria In and out...it has nothing to do with the citizens.... Americans are one of the most unlawful, drug carrying, wicked, law breaking folks you can see around but countries respect America too much ... going by their reputation they should even be visa free to niger sef ,if it's like that |
hostsleek:Absolutely nothing.... when I was ignorant bout the workings , I use to blame Nigerians until I started understanding how this works..... Nigerian Gov't has ruined that nation and are afraid folks will run away from that nation when the get more countries to sign visa waivers.... they are already seeing it in the way Nigerians are already leaving... some risk their lives to go through the deserts... |
sliksusan:If you read my submission very well you will see where I said there will be a Brain drain if Nigerian Gov't signs visa waiver with the Brazilian government... has NOTHING to do with the citizens but cos our government has failed us, if Nigeria get head ,will folks be seeking to leave the Useless country?? I know the route from Brazil to mexico well well... I know nothing less than 100 people that has taken that route, I no be JJC to it... i find myself privileged cos i had better opportunities and I'm not money conscious, i like my life as it is and wouldn't risk my life to be shoot in the wilderness of Colombia by drug cartels because i wan Japa... person japa enter Brazil ojukokoro no gree am, he wan still enter yankee... Nigerians dont even go that route , if you wan know who dey go through that route the most, it's the Nepalese and Haitians... they go there in drove... I understand how Diplomatic relations and agreements works .... |
sliksusan:I see your point sir...but it's still not why we ain't visa free to these countries... E.g American do and sell drugs more than any country on earth but they are still visa free to alot of countries.... MEXICO has one of the highest drug cartels and smuggling cartels in the whole world after Colombia yet they are amongst top 20 most powerful passports in the whole world... so it has nothing to do with us and alot to do with our leaders diplomatic relationships with these countries... Nigeria do narcotics reach Brazil?? Yet brazil is Visa free even to the UK wey colonize us and yet we that are colonized has to bring an arm and a leg of our third generation to get a visa to the UK... |
ally08055:Abort mission... wrong advice... what you are suggesting is not just wrong but dangerous... if dem deny you Brazil, why not go to other very nice south American nations, Chile,Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentina,Colombia.... they are also good nations that you can get Documented and move to other nations with time... |
sliksusan:Not necessarily true ,sir...... We as Africans shouldn't need visas to go to south America anyways, We didn't need visas to get to Brazil in the '90s.... the issue isn't bout what we do right or wrong... its alot to do with Diplomatic agreements with the nations... our leaders dont make alot of visa diplomatic relationships because everyday they are scared of BRAIN-DRAIN but they have diplomatic passports so they can afford to leave whenever they choose.. that's the difference and they give diplomatic passports to their families and friends..etc.... So with this you will see it has NOTHING to do with our actions.... |
Cheese balls... dem say na "Puff"... dem dey mad..

HOKIM:Cost of Living: The cost of living is relatively low in Brazil and cuts across state lines; Brazil has alot of industries and manufacturing companies, so made in Brazil products are quite common and the base of the Brazilian Economy, therefore ; Food, materials, medication, internet, water, electricity etc is relatively cheap and affordable... minimum wage is between R$1,300 - R$1,500... these is enough to "Survive" on living the basic lifestyle, living with extra will make this value skyrocket.... Transport: Brazil is so organized, that the transport system is one of the best I ever came across... The train is nice, secured and reliable, The Electric metro system is neat and always right on time .. Buses and private transport system(taxis) are well organized and app can be downloaded to estimate bus time, monitor bus routes and track bus location. You can own a bus card which allows you use the Bus system and payment is deducted from your Bus card credit, payment for a bus services through other buses if used between a time period,e.g I take a bus going to Republica from Braz, I swipe my bus card in the bus. Then ride the bus to republica , finish whatever I went to do then take another bus taking me from Republica back to braz within 2hrs of my first bus trip to Republica, I will not be charged from my bus fare. P.s: Brazil produces the BRT buses in Lagos, so it has even more sophisticated bus systems. Policing and Security: Brazil is quite secured unlike what is being portrayed by Western media, however, it still has it security challenges as do most other countries on earth, your environment and location determines your level of security, say , it is very common to see regular police patrol in Favelas(Ghettos) than the up-pop environments, crime in general around the world is prevalent in the low income areas and Brazil is no different ,if you live in a low income environment, avoid frequent waka waka for night, avoid unnecessary display of wealth and expensive jewelries(Africans and black folks are especially guilty of this, you will see someone that stays in an Agegunle like area in Sao Paulo, dey wear chain and watch of $20000 and go dey show am off at every opportunity, we as Black people can be loud about our achievements sometimes too)...policing also range from state to state |
dehiero:No yawa |

fid3fid:Na process and e nor dey like naija wen you fit skip some.... |
Ebubechi2021:Okay..I don see am now |
TheMan3:When I reach work I go continue |
fid3fid:Food is R$58 oo... I wrote there bout some restaurants that will let you pay that fee to enter and then you can eat as much as you want but cant take nothing away.... for normal feeding , you should be spending between 3-4hundred reais, if you eat heavy like me... Residence card for 30days?? Dont know who has been feeding you but If you are getting into Brazil with a visitor's visa or even any kind of visa and expect to get residence card in 30days, sorry be your name ooo..... hahahahahah... even for students or family reunion it could take awhile as the bureaucracies in Brazil is quite a stretch, talk more of who carry visitor's visa enter, I'm talking possible YEARS.... Best time to visit SP is anytime... you see?? With RIO and SP it's an anytime something... unlike other states.... it also depends on what you want to do. |
hostsleek:Its fine... no hurries...Brazil isn't going anywhere but greatness... If I get more folks asking me to continue, I go continue.. ![]() |
Now to bring the topic back from Derailing.... Having gone to over 20 countries across 4 continents... I think anyone should Note this before planning to Have a baby in Brazil.... 1, Sexual liberation/Body positivity : it is very common to see folks in the name of body positivity walk around on the streets of Brazil unclad, this might come to you as a huge culture shock, especially considering that you will raise your child(ren) in a society that promotes this.. 2, Portuguese is beautiful: Raising a child(ren) in a Portuguese speaking nation like Brazil can be fun and gives them a different perspective of a new language that isnt as widely spoken around the world as English and french... knowing you and your child(ren) would get that unique exclusive is beautiful and sometimes my friends would say "it's like owning an iphone in an android village" 3, The "Gay" culture: like most thriving and "woke" nations , homosexuality is legal in Brazil, so you must be willing to raise your kids within the conduct of your surrounding but yet guide their hearts against accepting these societal "Norms"... Should I go on with more points.... Want to be sure folks are following |
Niveakreamy89:No problem brother .... if u EVER visit SP... lemme know, we av a whole community of Nigerians there... infact we should even have ASSOCIATION OF NAIRALANDERS IN SAÔ PAULO ...maybe who never marry fit see husband/wife marry there sef... ![]() |
fid3fid:SP is very safe but it depends on the neighborhood, just like every other city in the world, it has it safe and unsafe areas... the poor parts are usually where you will find crimes etc but if you stay off drugs and mind your own business, no drag another man wife, lots of nice decent ladies/men,then you will be safe... so I will rate it 5/10 when it comes to safety Cos of living is about R$2000(upward) for decent living if you are single, do the math when you include a wife/husband and then a child(ren)..Exchange rate is between R$5(5.50)=1USD (Depends on the exchange for the day or the individual) Healthcare is "okay" ,it also ranges.. you know Nothing beats private healthcare around the world but the public health system is very okay and since it is FREE for citizens and permanent residents, you know sometimes you have to wait in long lines to get attended to.. so use that one calculate things... If one can "fall" in SP ,chill and get off the madness of naija do you think alot of folks would be hear making enquiries about SP?? Sp is basically the "life of the party" , what you will describe as Lagos for folks that wants to get an idea, only, well organized, more population, better in business and commerce, way more developed, more lively, more interesting... etc.... There are literally Billions of things to do and have fun and yet find a balance, home broadband is VERY cheap, if you are one that likes to chill at home, cheap buffet spots, where you can pay R$58 and eat all you want, nice Cinemas(not recommended for newbies as the language is Portuguese, you fit no understand anything)... great street life, great Everything... Naija restaurants full there, incase you miss food back home... when you go SP , then you go know say na suffer u dey naija dey suffer since... |
Soraco57:State the reason(s) , let's see if we can suggest or give you ideas for the future.. |
