In all you do, avoid Copa airlines... they are more useless than useless can be....

I was heading to Barbados, booked my flight LAGOS-DOHA-SAO PAULO (I have a Brazilian visa) ... then another ticket BRAZIL- PANAMA- TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO- BARBADOS and back.... copa was suppose to carry me from sao Paulo to Trinidad and Tobago then transfer me to Caribbean airlines that will take me to Barbados... I got to Brazil, took my covid test for my journey the next day,all excited.... I slept at the airport, when it was time for me to go check in, I went and copa refuse me boarding, they said I needed a visa to Barbados, I told them I didn't need on, I showed them from their website my journey and the requirements, then the guy said he didnt care about the website, I showed him emails from both the Panama and Trinidad embassy saying I didn't need visa if I would be transiting for less than 12hrs , these people still didnt let me board... then the ruled my ticket a "No show " ... I called their office, nothing.... I had to stay in Brazil ( which by the way is very beautiful not like the lies the west portrays it to be) till my return date to come back to Nigeria....
They said they would FINE me.... they are still yet to refund me... they said they wouldn't refund my over $2k.....

Long story short... if you dont av transit visa to pass through europe or north America... dont bother, you will likely face challenges.. be prepared to come back.... not worth it... Copa airlines are worthless heartless Panama company.... avoid them oo

Sao Paulo... my sweet sao Paulo...... I'm in love with that place.... Once you get to Brazil, every other place(s) wouldn't interest you anymore.... it touch of European culture with the beautiful feel of south America... it's nothing I can explain with words.... Bro this one no hard na, just enter Brasil cancel your ticket, book another ticket from Brazil to your final destination since you have a valid Brasil visa. Copa has faced a lot in the hands of Africans transiting through Panama to Guyana or to other Central America country.

Bros e hard pass that one oo... dont miss inform people.... alot of people are complaining about copa... and just canceling the ticket and buy new one nor easy like that as their are barely any flight connecting south America to the Caribbean except transiting thru Europe or south America... so it's not as easy as u paint it.... the covid scattered alot of things ..

I took Qatar airlines to brazil
I already booked a ticket before I left Nigeria... from brazil >panama city>port of spain> Bridgetown
It was a single ticket we bought from Expedia, now Copa says they cant see the other flight in their system from port of Spain wer they are suppose to transfer my baggage so I can transit through Caribbean airlines..

which airlines do you use from Nigeria to Sao paulo if it is Ethiopia airline you make Error if you are going to Barbados you need to fly with Turkish airlines from lagos to Istanbul to panama and copa airlines will fly you in panama to Trinidad and connect to liat airlines from Trinidad to Barbados

Help! I took a flight from Lagos going to brazil, then from brazil to Barbados (transiting Panama and Trinidad) , when I was suppose to board in sao Paulo, Copa airlines told me I couldn't board, that I needed Authorization.. I tried to show them I didn't understand what they meant by "authorization" .. my passport is visa free to Barbados and I have someone there, i dont need visa to both Panama and Trinidad if I am transiting , dont pass through immigration and dont exceed my 12hr transit period.... what am I going to do now... I am stuck in sao Paulo,... I need to get to Barbados do what I need to do and get back to Nigeria before my Brazilian visa expires in November.... I am confused and tired..

Go to VI,yoy still see flooded areas.if na cos of flood you wan criticise the govt,you dont have a basis.flood in your area doesnt mean the whole lagos is flooded.i live close to that area in alimosho and there is nothing like flood here.
Sometimes when some people come out to blame the govt even for rainfall i wantto ask for their electricity bill,psp/lawma bill and other utility bills then you know why the govt doesnt work.

Do you have extensive travel history?
Do you have Schengen visa in your passport?
Have you been to anywhere in the Caribbean before? Do you have hotel booking throughout your stay in Barbados?
If your answer is no to most of these question, I'm sorry to tell you that Barbados will refuse you entry and you'll be deported. Barbados isn't technically visa free for Nigerian passport holders, they look at your passport to see if you have other kinds of visa in there

Some of the Caribbean countries requires no visa if you arrive on a US/ UK flight and have valid visas of those countries.
