The crisis going on in benue state is between the people of Mbasmbo and Mbaivur communities in Gwer- East Local Government Area of Benue state.
The dispute between the two communities is all about farmland.

The former Vice President of Nigeria Atiku Abubakar visited his former boss and ex president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta, ogun state.
Atiku was the Vice President of Nigeria under president Olusegun Obasanjo between 1999 to 2007, on the plat form of the peoples Democratic Party,(PDP).

The Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA) has arrested a woman by name Mrs Sherifat kehinde Lawal who is known to be a notorious drug dealer at the Patey area of Lagos state.
According to a report by the Agency, 5,000kg of illicit drugs including loud and codeine were sized during the arrest.
She has been operating in the Area for quite a long time and was arrested today alongside seven other suspects.
Meanwhile, during the arrest, many people were injured because hoodlums came and attacked the operatives of the agency with bottles, stones and guns in other to prevent them from taking the drug kingpin away.
In a bid to defend themselves, the operatives fired back at them and was able to take the drug kingpin with them.
The NDLEA chiarman, Buba Marwa, commended the operatives of the agency for a job well done, he expressed his satisfaction with them on how they were able to take the female kingpin with them regardless of the attacks by hoodlums.

There was a Robbery Attack at Uromi Area, in EDO state.
According to reports, the Nigerian police division in Uromi, Esan north east local government in Edo State, said that they have recovered more than N34million including cars that were abandoned by the criminals, motorcycles ATM cards and other items found in the scene.
Two police men and five civilians were shot dead by the armed robbers during the attack.

Dr Muiz Banire, The Former National Legal Adviser of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has ruled out prof Yemi Osibanjo and Bola Tinubu from 2023 presidency.
Banire who disclosed this information in an interview on radio, said he was not aware that Tinubu, his former boss was interested in being president come 2023.

Chief Ernest Shonekan died of a natural illness this morning January 11, 2022 at the age of 85 in Lagos state.
Ernest Shonekan was the former head of the Interim National Government that was set up by General Ibrahim Babangida.
Between August 26 and November 17, 1993, Chief Ernest Shonekan was the chiarman of the Interim National Government before he was overthrown by a coup led by Late General Sani Abacha.
His death was confirmed on Tuesday in a statement by family members who also said that further details about the burial will soon be disclosed.
The statement reads
"To the glory of the Almighty, the Shonekans family announces the passing of the patriarch, loving husband to margaret, dutiful father to us all and former head of state, chief Ernest, Adegunle, Oladeinde Shonekan, GCFR, CBE, the Baba sale of Egba land."

Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed that the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination ( UTME ) and Direct Entry forms are not yet available for sale in any jamb office or cyber cafe.
Jamb has urged prospective candidates to be mindful of frausters who go about circulating second class and irrelevant information concerning the sale of the form.
Jamb has also said that the sale of the form will not be hidden and will be announced, so that candidates who wishes to purchase the form, will proceed to their office for the registration.
This was revealed in a statement which reads
" the attention of the joint admission and matriculation board ( JAMB) has been drawn to the activities of some unwholesome elements who had been misleading the general public on the purported commencement of the sale of 2022 unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) application documents.
" for the avoidance of doubt, any information purporting to have emanacted from the Board of the effect that the sale of the 2022 UTME and DE forms has commenced is not only fraudulent but is a calculated attempt by mischief makers to create unnecessary panic among prospective candidates for their own selfish ends.

" Rather it is always a well publicised undertaking in the print media as well as online and electronic platforms.

Joshua Olonitola, a Nigerian musician popularly known as joe slim is dead.
The 30years old singer died on Sunday while battling with a kidney disease.
It was reported that joe slim solicited for 15million Naira for kidney transplant as he was diagnosed of end stage kidney disease since November 24 2020.
His death was confirmed by his cousin Kayode Jegede.

An Autopsy result conducted at the central hospital, Warri, Delta state by consultant pathologist, Dr. Clement Vhriterhire concluded that Sylvester Oromoni died of acute lungs injury due to chemical intoxication in a background of blunt force trauma.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced that there will be free train rides for citizens in Nigeria from December 24th 2021 to January 4th 2022.

He said, " Yes my father, king of satan is dead. He died on Tuesday morning as he had been sick for the past three weeks.
Mr Emeka also said that burial arrangements for his late father were already in progress in fulfilment of his father's instructions to the wives and children that his remains should not be deposited in the mortuary but should be buried immediately.
He said,
"Since my father died, kingsmen, friends and well wishers have been trooping in to come and sympathise with our family".

In a suit marked FHC/LS/CS/816/18, Which has the Minister of Interior and the Attorney General of the Federation as Defendants, charged the ministry of supporting the local government power to conduct marriages and issue marriage certificates.
