luvly3: Like it's always said on ds thread what works for Mr A may not work for Mr B.... ...If the education gap is much it's better to include employment details n statement of acc.... if he can get his SOA I dnt see any reason why he can't add it to his app.....its left for the poster doh to decide if he wants to include it or not....U r right, if the education gap is much then one should show proof of what they have being doing. But if the applicant is doing just a menial job that doesnt boost his financial status then he might just enter one chance by submitting his SOA meaning he will most likely fall under "personal assets and financial status, limited employment in ur country of residence" rejection even if he has a credible sponsor. All i am saying with the little i have seen is that people employed with very low source of income can show proof of employment but not compulsory they submit their SOA. I think they should rather submit landed docs, car docs, estates, tenanmnt agremnt, C.OF.O e.t.c as home ties, personal asset. But then again, it is the applicant's choice. |
dulux07: yeah, he graduated (B.Sc)2012 and completed his NYSC oct 2013, he is going for a PgdOk, he can actually put trader as current activity. When writing his SOP, he should not emphasize on his trading unless it has a link with his studies. I actually put maths tutor in my own app as current activity. Lol.(i now have my TRV)I had no job but i did IT in the past so i included that in the past employmnt section. I was also a teacher during my NYSC, i also inputed teacher under employment history.( i typed TEACHER, employer- NYSC Edo state and the name of the school i taught). No need to be anxious if there is reliable source of funds. All the best to your bro. |
dulux07: xup, my younger bro that has been into buying n selling for almost a year now, should he just state that he is not workingHas ur bro gone thru any higher institution and completed NYSC? And his he going for ungrad or postgrad? |
luvly3: Hi, I think u got it wrong....as long as d poster stated dat he is working in his app, it's advisable to show his SOA even if he isn't d sponsor....Some peeps get denied for lack of personal financial status and personal assets. ...to be on the safer side it should be included even if d closing bal aint much....No, he his not. It all depends on the Applicants case. For instance, i know some1 who submitted his app and stated on his app form that he sells cement locally. As in no record of sales! And he was called for medics, y because the sponsor has more than enough funds. If someone has been working for years or maybe has a family then ur SOA will definately go a long way. But a newly employed fellow with just scanty cash i wouldnt advice submission of SOA. Mind u land properties, estates, properties(cars) also count as personal assets and prove of finance. To me the applicant's story is were to start from. Not submission of SOA. |
Cufs: Ok ooh, it's me again with my funny questions.I think if u have a written doc that states the land belongs to you then add it. It really doesnt matter if u bought a land a day to submission. It all depends on packaging. It would also make more sense if ur dad shed more light on y he gave u the land on the letter of sponsorship. I really think u should add it, just have solid prove. If survey plan would prove otherwise then dont add it. A receipt of land purchase is just good enough. Most importantly, pray. All the best. |
eddydestiny: not that your father cant sponsor you but also remember that VO check the last balance let say 5million and you have a sibling number 6 plus your parent than tell me how the VO will look at the SOA.no VO would question for using more than one account;your free to use more than ine account just what you need is to state it in your SOP finish.good luckFirst of all, the visa evaluation is on a case by case basis. If u have 6 siblings and ur sponsor has 5mill then that would raise questions but lets assume am the only son and my sponsor has 5mill, assumin cost of tuition is around 1.5mill a yr. which one would u grant the visa? Some people out of fear just submit docs they ought not to(which could be bloody attimes). To answer this particular question accurately one would need more info on the Applicants data. Such as funds in their sponsors account, sponsors source of funds, dependants e.t.c. My point is because Mr A submitted his SOA doesnt mean Mr B should. Submit accurate and necessary docs. God bless. |

@eddydestiny, i think it would be best to state that he would be his own co- sponsor cus that way his SOA will have more meaning for his App. It also depends on available funds in his account. For me, if my sponsor has enough funds then no need to tender my SOA. |
I still dont get it |
Hello guys, i need ur assistance urgently, do i nid to include my employment docs and my SOA, since my dad is the sponsor, i am in my mid 20s, going for a PgD Employment docs - Yes, to show prove of employment, include pay slips and leave of absence (if applicable). SOA - if u r going to sponsor yourself then Yes, include that otherwise dont complicate ur App. |
