Religion / My Heartfelt Gratitude by Holyfire1(m): 7:28am On Dec 31, 2016
HEARTFELT GRATITUDE; IF ONLY HE WOULD SEE THROUGH MY HEART
You are God, who places a man at the Centre of his world, that all men would see what you can do with, and through a mere dust.
Oh LORD, my God! You have made out of my experience and my naïve thought, a source of inspiration to men. You had also made a keyboard, the vehicle upon which this thought rides across the world.
You took me on a journey through the east. A place where I had desired to learn the culture and the wisdom of the sons and daughters of the east. There, I got from you more abundantly than I could have desired. You gave me what money cannot buy. You gave me GRACE. It was all I ever needed. Your grace kept me such that I never laid my armor at the feet of the daughters of the east.
Every organ of my body blesses you, Most High. For my heart never cease to pump your goodness throughout my body. My lungs never cease to receive into its quiver, the freshness of life you provide each day. My stomach accepts whatever is made available to it and turns it into energy for every day’s work. How these things happen, I can’t comprehend.
I thank God for every day’s opportunity to advance in life. And for every mistake I had made, for it avails me the privilege to learn and get better. I also thank God for you too , for you are a living witness and an evidence to God’s faithfulness.
Each day I sleep, I wake to your bright light shining through my dark night. LORD, I am grateful for the eyes to see this.
I can think and write, simply because my mind is active. I speak and you hear, all because my tongue hasn’t been slited. More than words could say, I sincerely want to express my heartfelt gratitude. If only you would see through my heart, to see how grateful I am LORD.
In my life, I had wanted to have many things. I had desired to do many things. Though, I am yet to get them all done nor receive all I had ever desired. Yet, you gave me the one thing you knew I had needed, for everything I had ever wanted. You gave the one thing that changes everything. You gave me yourself. You offered me Jesus and since then, everything became different. I never since then lacked any good thing.
You are a gracious God and I lift my voice to worship you.

Health / 6 Things Positivity Does In Your Life And Your Health by Holyfire1(m): 10:18am On Nov 30, 2016
6 THINGS POSITIVITY DOES IN YOUR LIFE THAT YOU MIGHT NOT BE AWARE OF

The most common emotional trauma people face daily is that of anxiety; the fear of what would be or might not be.

A lot of people get devastated while thinking of what lies ahead of them.Things they wish they do, but feared it might not work out.
They go about life with the “what if” question tag. You hear people say things like; “what if my plans doesn’t work out, what if am not nominated for the contest, what if she turns down my offer, what if I don’t make enough profit in the business, what if this ,what if that…”

Friends, I will like to tell you that the fear of an outcome of a futuristic intent or incidence steers up negativity, first, in the mind, then around one’s life. Fear itself is a perfect antecedent of negativity, a friend to wicked premonitions and an enemy of faith. Fear gives birth to negativity, just as faith reproduces positivity.

Faith in a simple term is a conviction in the mind that something good and wonderful is about to happen. Just like love, faith is expressed both in words and in actions. It is believing that every circumstances is working for your good and not against you.

It suffice to say that whatever goes on in our mind has a strong determinant on our everyday life, our health ,our relationship with other and our productivity at work.
If fear in the mind could create negativity around one’s life and faith creating positivity, it is therefore of a necessity to understand that what lies within is far greater than what lies ahead. You have the capacity within you today, to create what happens around your life tomorrow, simply by the words you speak and the attitude which backs up your words today.
Just like the topic of perspective in our elementary fine art classes, where you only see and grasp the drawing of an object placed before you, only from your own standpoint. Having the right perspective gives you the perfect result . Why not therefore position yourself right to see right.
"See with your mind first, what you would like to see in your life."
When you allow fear in your mind to see a bad day ahead, a bad day then becomes inevitable. However, if all factors today seems pointing towards a bad day tomorrow, don't accept to fate, create a new day that you would like to see. This can only be achieved by your proclamation of faith with a right attitude today.
Here are few things being positive does to your life and health;
1. Positivity within, attracts positivity without- Your life attract what your heart secretly nuture and desires.
2 . It gives peace and confidence to walk through life, even in the face of hurdles and life trials- Life has its rumbling tempest. A positive mind has the tactics of an eagle to ride against life's storm.
3. Being positive exalts our strength and relegates our weakness as though they do not exist- Human inadequacies exist in the world, but not in the mind of faith where every positive premonition is possible.
4. Positivity saves you of unnecessary worries and reduces your stress level.
5. Stay positive to stay alive, active and spirited- A dead man is not necessarily a man without life but a man who had lost all hope of life while he still breathes.
6. Positivity might not always produce the desired result, but you stand the chance to always get the perfect result- You get what you have to have, when you have to have it.

Literature / The One Thing That Turns Big Dreams Into Reality by Holyfire1(m): 8:39pm On Nov 08, 2016
THE ONE THING THAT TURNS BIG DREAMS INTO REALITY
Anything cheaply gotten does not last. They do not have the tenacity to survive the test of time, opposition, insult or discouragement. Worthy things cost much. They come with a price which really cost much.

Excellence cost much; it cost one's dedication, commitment and hard work. Innovation has its own cost too. It cost one's creative thinking, trials and errors...

Whenever a thing presents itself so cheap at little or no cost, watch out for it. Danger seems to lurk around the corner of such. Regret also follows closely.Beware of wealth cheaply gotten at little or no risk; ponzi schemes and zero risk businesses.
Be cautious of rare privileges or "opportunities" that appears to be sudden and cost-free. Rare privileges or opportunities comes only to those who had practiced in the direction of such opportunity. We only prepare for opportunities and no alternative to that.

A sudden rise to the top at no cost is the most dangerous thing that can ever happen to any man. Because, when he rises, he rises to fall back again.

The vast human race doesn't want to pay costly prices for what they desire. Many desire breakthrough. So many desire success. A lot desire greatness. But just few attain there desires. These are the few who pay prices to do things which every average man wouldn't want to do.
Greatness has a price but failure is so cheap. Wealth has its own, but poverty is the cheapest.

"When you pay little, except little. When you pay much, expect much."

To be be distinguished among multitude, you need to walk pass your comfort zone. Do that which will cost you much. Things which an average man will not want to do naturally, because it seems hard for him.

Your price for greatness might be a humble spirit to learn under a subordinate. Pay the price. It might cost much, but it will pay much. The price for a financial breakthrough in business might be the cost of taking a hard risk of investment. Pay the price.
Faith in itself involve taking risk.
Life has everything we desire to have. What we therefore get out of life is what we only invest into life.

DON'T KILL THAT JUDGE
The judge of one's own will, that either condemns or praises one's intended act is the CONSCIENCE.

You seek to hear a voice from God for direction. But why neglect the voice of your conscience?

We actually become responsible for our own actions when what we choose to do or not to do, comes from our will for rightness in our CONSCIENCE. Standing for what is right regardless of the consequence.
This is another dimension to maturity; taking responsibility for your own actions, without having to blame anyone for your choices.

Adherence to the rightness of your conscience is when you know the consequences of an action you are about to take, but you still go ahead to do what is right, because of the peace and satisfaction you find in your heart for it. And ignoring the pleasure you would have enjoyed if you had chosen otherwise.

Seeking for public opinion for actions you would take will only make you to blame the public when the consequences backfires. Counsel is good and it guarantees safety. We seek for counsel whenever we are in doubt of what to do. The truth is, most of us know the right thing to do. But we seek for a confirmation from people's opinion.
Most times, some others do know what to do right but the right choice presented by there conscience might seems not comfortable to them, even though they knew it to be the best decision at that time, which will also pay off at later time. But, they seek counsel to choose otherwise, looking for a partner who would second there wrong intent because of the immediate satisfaction or pleasure that surrounds this choice.

Never go seek for counsel when you had already made up your mind on the choice to take.
Just like a plain sheet of paper to be written upon. Always present yourself plain to your counsellor and let him or her scribble some things on a plain mind, with a pencil though. Take then, these written letters on your mind to your privacy and critically do an analysis and arrangement on them along side with the voice of your conscience. If your conscience condemns the counsel after your analysis, it will be wise of you not to go with it. But if your conscience approve of it, without guilt or condemnation, why not, it is a go ahead. This is why it is important to seek counsel from people of like minds, whose values, principles and ideology are in tandem with yours.

How then can you identify the rightness of your conscience when you had already suffocated conscience with envy, bitterness, hatred, jealousy, impatience, lust and all form of wickedness.
Your conscience is in you to rightly direct you, don't kill it.

Romance / My Heart Is Soft And I Crush A Lot On Guys by Holyfire1(m): 8:02pm On Oct 31, 2016
THE TRUTH I WISH YOU KNOW ABOUT YOUR SOFT HEART

Few days ago, I was engaged in a conversation with a dear friend. The conversation led to us discussing about personality issues and how best to relate with friends. She said and I quote, with her permission though;
"The problem I have is am too soft. Too soft hearted. I just hate myself sometimes. Am too soft at everything. Too soft at heart, in character, in physical strength, am too fragile. Everyone sees me as someone who can't do much because indeed I don't have the strength to do much work or do too heavy things. Am tired... "
This is actually an issue with many of us too, which most times, tends to be predominant among the female folks. It is nothing other than the woman's make up and shouldn't be seen as a weakness at all, of a truth. No one is better than you. Neither is a guy better than or stronger than a lady, we are just different from one another, with our unique peculiarities.
Being soft at heart isn’t a sign of weakness. As a matter of fact, being soft in the heart shows strength of character; which are expressed through the virtues of sincerity, truthfulness, passion and love, which all fills a soft hearted fellow. You have the strength of character because of your soft heart and not a weakness.
The truth is, when your heart is often open to welcome everything, every issue, all sort of people, different circumstances, which invariably weighs you down. That is the WEAKNESS we talk about.
Know this about your soft heart; not everybody can handle it. Therefore, not everybody should be allowed access into your heart.
Choose ur friends discretely.
As all fragile materials are kept from the reach of minors, so also must you guide your heart from being accessible to every Tom, Dick and Harry, who are kids in a man's clothing.
You could recognize this kind of people by what they seek to rob you of when they come in contact with you; your time, your dignity, your virtue, yourself...
Don't quote me wrong, am not saying you shouldn't make friends. The point is, don't just let every person you meet get access to your heart easily, who might later tapper with something vital in your mind and latter destabilize your emotions. Same goes with any situation you find yourself. Learn to let go of situation you can't control.
Speak powerful words of hope to your heart always. This is one of the tools that birth strength in strong people. Tell yourself;
' I will be happy no matter what.
I am strong because I have a heart that houses the strength of character.
I love sincerely because I have a strong heart.
I care deeply because I have a strong heart.
I speak the truth from my heart because it is a strong one.'

Keep the Spirit of positivity alive. And in no time, things will get better. I believe.

AMEN THANKS
Religion / Re: Does God Really Frown At A Christian Who Takes A Tablet To Church As Bible by Holyfire1(m): 12:57pm On Oct 30, 2016
THE POSITIVE IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON THE CHRISTIAN YOUTH

Would the social media ever have a positive impact on the Christian youth? Especially with the advent of various websites filled with varying categories of sexually explicit materials flying over the Internet and being made accessible to all, even at the comfort of one's privacy. Sexting, gossiping, quest for recognition, pride in ones ideology, seeking public approval and a lot of non-Christ-like attitude are being displayed by different users of the social media. Yet, just like the words of Dimka Philip. He said and I quote:

"Nothing has touched entirely the soul of human existence, after God- it is the social media/Network. "

The fact remains that the Internet is a vast cloud of information. Just like the black hole, its size for all sort of information is inexhaustible. However, information on the Internet or the use of the information on the Internet isn't limited to a sect, a tribe, a culture, a nation or an individual. Just as the mind is being flooded daily with different kinds of thoughts yet, as a Christian youth, you choose what to think upon. So also is it with the Internet.

Why do you now think it's difficult to choose what you want from the Internet. Why do you think it's difficult to use the social media positively in accordance to the biblical principles you had built your life upon over time?
The Positive impact of the social media on the Christian youth are far more enormous than it's negative Impact because, the social media is all about creating relationship, connecting with people, establishing relationship, confessing fault one to another, which are all but a truth of what Christ want the Christian youth to do.
According to the site pro-con. org, 60 million Americans received help with major life issues through their online social network. If this 'help' is by anyway defined, it means that people look unto those in their social media network for advice. This thereby allows Christian youth within the network to share Christ where appropriate.
Moreover, social media breaks down the barrier of not having to ask personal questions on the Christian faith as you would likely be a friend to a fellow Christian on a social network, who had undergone the same challenges you are passing through and came out victoriously. To the Christian youth, the social media makes you know that you are not alone in this faith.

"Go ye therefore and teach all NATIONS..." Matthew 28:19(KJV)

How best would you have obeyed the above biblical injunction as a Christian youth without much financial aid to travel to nations, if not with the advent of the Social Media. Your testimony of salvation could encourage a fellow in Atlanta Georgia just by a click away. You might ask, what then is the role of the church if preaching is to be done on the social media?
We can't shy from the truth that the church in this 21st century is seen as a religious gathering with much preacher, but less result. Which is also our responsibility to bring back the church to it's original foundation; Christ. People goes to church these days to get values; values only defined by their own terms. And not just values, but to also earn a sense of belonging. But these, especially the latter, they seems not to get anymore.
The social media community has given a lot of people wonderful sense of belonging that they find much hope and comfort in these online communities than they would ever find in any face to face gathering. As Christians share their stories about their spiritual journey, even people who are yet to know Christ are being influenced.
The Russian-based Nigeria pastor of the largest church in Europe, Pastor Sunday Adelaja offers mentorship to vibrant youths all over the world just from his base in Ukraine. How does he achieve this? through the social media platform. What a great privilege to be mentored by such a personality in the in our world today. All thanks to the social media.
Blogs can also be a great source of information for Christian youth. I visit blogs too and they had been helpful. YouTube, the second largest search engine in the world can also be a source of discipleship and mentoring as well.
I believe that God is everywhere. He can be found on twitter, instagram, whatsapp, Facebook, youtube, if only you search for Him there. God can be seen in all of us through our activities on the social media.

I am a Nigerian youth. And more to that, am a Christian. I believe that we are meant for one another. To encourage one another, to challenge one another, to strengthen one another and to inspire ones another. But how best can we achieve this if what we share on the Internet speaks otherwise.

Most times, our conversation during online chat doesn't have to always end with 'lol' or 'kisses'. Words like 'I feel really blessed, thank you,' am comforted by your words,' 'your pix inspires me... ' could also end our conversation as well. I receive that a lot and it inspires me to be available when needed as often even to as many. All you need to do is simple. Understand what the person at the receiving end of your chat is passing through and be the solution he/she craves to get.

*BY POPULAR DEMAND*

_OUR DEAR NATION,_

NIGERIA: THE BEAUTY OF THE BLACK RACE

Peace! Peace!! Peace!!!
Peace! I speak, to every stormy sea
Peace is what we long to see
Once more, Oh Lord! We pray thee
That you send us your comforting breeze
That the tide will once more blow in our direction with ease

Peace we pray for, in our midst
For the economy of the state now lack a yeast
And the ground has refused to give us good yield
People dying everyday; even in the east
The innocent looking boy has now turn wild and aggressive
Just to make an ends meet

Peace! Peace!! Peace!!!
Who says a TIV man, an Hausa man and a Yoruba man can't live together in peace
Come, and I will show it to you on my street
I speak ;
Not as an orator but as a Spirit
Carrying the message of peace

I am a Nigerian
We are the giant of Africa
The beauty of the black race
We can not be erased
We will not disintegrate
We are a three cord, which cannot be broken
A fourth one, which makes it a perfect four-framed picture
Peace we pray for,
From the NORTH to the SOUTH
Peace in the EAST and in the WEST

NIGERIA @56: ARE WE BECOMING MORE OF WHO WE ARE OR LESS THAN WHAT WE USED TO BE?

"God grant me the courage not to give up what I think is right, even though I think it is hopeless. "

These times are remarkably the most hard times in the history of the Nigeria economy. The harsh weather of the Nigeria economy is seen upon all and sundry. Yet, we will not give up on our dear nation Nigeria.

I once read of a beautiful quote, which says; "change is hard at the beginning, tough at the middle and enjoyable at the end." As a matter of fact, my concern hasn't been with the "change" in itself, but its effect on us and how we had reacted to this effect.
It is human to find something or someone to blame for everything that goes down about us and around us. But, to blame someone or something about what is so dear to our life and destiny isn’t wise, and doesn’t speak of us as someone who can stand strong on our two feet, alone. Though, this might seems to be hard times for the nation. But, hard times like this are meant to help shift our perspective from what used to be, to what ought to be. Hard times are meant to open our eyes to see the several opportunities we were blinded off by our comfortability . Hard times are meant to reposition us and refocus us on a new course. The last time I checked, blaming anybody or anything for our own predicament hasn't solve a dim of a problem.
The change we anticipate for in this nation can't be achieved by the strength of power or the coercion by the rod of economic hardship. This change can only be achieved by the strength of will. By the tenacity of our will, together. Haven't you read or heard about the tower of babel, whose people had a strong will to build a tower to heaven that even God affirm to what they are capable of achieving by the strength of their will together.

The Nigeria we anticipate to see is yet to be unveiled. But truly, this new Nigeria is forming into shape. Just like the embryo in the womb of a mother, Nigeria is becoming a whole body. Come to think of this, many strong and economically buoyant nations of the world took close to a century to come to the peak of where they are presently. Talk of USA, China, Norway(one of the nations of the world with the richest economy who got her independence in 1814, 102 years ago). Nigeria, been 56 years today since independence shows we are not less of becoming one of the world leading economy, our current situation notwithstanding. Our present state isn’t our final state.
We all have vital roles to play for a new Nigeria to emerge. Never should we blame the Leadership of our nation. If positions were equivalent to being responsible, then the most highly placed in the society are the most responsible. But this is not always so. The most highly placed who ain't responsible to his family of 4, how do you expect such to be responsible to his community let alone his nation?
Being responsible is the undying zest to right the wrong, the desire to replace evil deeds with good, the capability to alter the status quo and the ability to have a listening hear, which listens to the heartbeat of the people.
We become responsible when we begin to see the leader we are truly meant to be. The leader we have become isn’t position freak neither is he politically hungry.
In conclusion, I will want us to celebrate the man Nigeria is today, as Nigeria is progressively tending towards what she had always been called; the giant of Africa.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE TO NIGERIA AND HAPPY NEW MONTH TO YOU ALL!

THE ONE IN A MILLION QUESTION

Many people just like myself are quick to question God "Why me"? especially when they seem to experience a shift from what used to be rossy to what seem painful, unfair and disheartening. No matter how unpleasant or painful that situation might be to you, God wasn't asleep when it happened to you. As a matter of fact, nothing happens to you outside His auspices. He is always aware of everything that happens to his most cherished creature: HUMANS.

Friends, of a truth, God is not a wicked God. Regardless of the angle you might view your situation from. When evil happens to good people, it isn't an intention of wickedness. Rather, it is an attempt to strengthen them, in order to build strength within and around them.

Our strength of Character, the profession of our faith, our words of hope, our heart of courage and everything about us all get tested. Not in our comfort times but during tumultuous periods. Always remember, the ability for a ship to withstand the storm and tempest isn’t tested on a pool.

God is building up a strong people who would fight evil and overcome it. However, He wouldn't want to raise a people whose strength of will is weak and whose grip against evil isn’t firm. This is why sometimes, He brings us a little closer to unpleasant circumstances in a bid to train us for the combat techniques against evil. We wouldn't be able to fight the good fight at the comfort of our everyday living.

When good things happen to evil people, that is the merciful side of God. When evil things happen to evil people, that is the justice side of God. When good things happen to good people, that's the caring side of God. However, when an ordeal befalls good people, that is the fatherly side of God, teaching his Children to be strong. Though, it is a period of training, believe me, it isn't forever. A bit of an experience that knocks you out isn’t your dead end. As long as you are not knocked down, you are coming back on stage stronger and better.

Take for instance, in a game of boxing, a player might be thrown off balance. But, out of balance isn’t out of the game. There are certain ordeals that leave us with scars we would forever carry. But, such ordeals shouldn't be what we would reminiscence on for the rest of our lives. A scar is an indication that you have fought and fought well. A scar is a pointer that infirmity would not rise the second time.

Henceforth, in every situation you are in, I want you to change your question from "God why me"? to" God what do you want me to learn"? "What would you have me do"?
Learn to put on positivity anytime and every time . Nothing happens to you. Everything that happens, happens for you. For we know that all things work together for your good.

Literature / Now That I Am Free, I Can Be Me by Holyfire1(m): 8:51pm On Sep 22, 2016
NOW THAT I AM FREE, I CAN BE ME
Have you ever felt that the real you isn’t finding full expression daily? Maybe at times, you do act in such a way that seems wild or odd to you, especially in certain situation? You actually know that is not you. The real you wouldn't have acted that way. The real you wouldn't have spoken like that.

This is the struggle so many people face daily; leaving them to frustration and boredom. The challenges with many people is that they allow themselves to be trapped and caged in another person's body, all because they want to be like the person.

I have heard people say; 'I love the way he talks, I want to talk like him, I love the kind of message he preaches, I want to preach the same way just like him. I love this and that about him and I want to be everything that he is.' Allow me to shock you a little, the above instance isn’t a desire for exploit, it is a mediocre mentality, which figuratively place bars of iron around the person with such mindset.

Some might ask, does it mean looking unto someone or having a mentor is a bad idea? This is absolutely not. Mentorship is a very good idea. There is nothing wrong with mentoring. However, my only concern is with the mentor. The mentors who want there mentee to be like them. This is absolutely wrong, unethical, unscriptural and does not portray the beauty of our society.

Regardless of the cadre or the height you might have attained on the societal strata, in whatsoever sphere of life; leadership, politics, religion, career, etc. Never mentor people to act like you. You will only imprison them by doing so.

Mentors are meant to help their mentee discover their true self and not to teach them to speak, act or behave like there Mentors. A mentor is not meant to make a public show of his/her mentee weakness in what the mentor himself has strength for, so that the mentor would appear to the public eyes as though the strongest or most disciplined.

As a mentor, you are to establish the feet of your mentee on the right path and also lead them through this path, not a matter of coercion or "do as I do" attitude. Help open their eyes to their own destiny, not making them walk in yours. Our purpose might be similar but our destiny aren't. We might both be called a preacher but we aren't meant to preach the same message. We might both be called a writer but we aren't writing for the same audience.
Mr Mentor, they don't have to speak like you, act like you, or even eat like you (as some mentor desires). If everybody becomes like you, where is the beauty of God's creation in that. There is beauty in diversity.

Teaching a fish to climb the tree will only keep the fish in struggle for the rest of its life. Why not free the fish of its struggle by allowing it to find where best suit it and establish it rightly there as a mentor that you are.

We are to do greater things than our mentor, not the same thing as they did. If your mentor could walk on water, who said you can't fly in the air.

Don't limit yourself. You have a in you a great light, wanting to shine. Please let it shine.

THE SECRET TO LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST
Let your past be passed.
Whatever happened to you in your past is just one of those lessons you had to learn, in other to bring you up and rightly position you where you are right now. As a matter of fact, you don't belong to your past any longer. It was just a rugged passage you had to walk through all by yourself, with the only hope of "God is by my side."

If you can go through that hurt of the past all alone and you are still alive right now, it simply means that no circumstances can or will be able to hurt you down. Not even your past, not where you are right now, not even the thought of uncertainty which lies ahead of you. Nothing! No one thing can tear you apart. Only strong people like you go through such rugged path of the past and still comes out alive as a conqueror.

I beseech you therefore to enjoy the full package meant for you each new day. Today is too precious for you to allow your past mistakes and pains to rob you of your joy and happiness. Do things that gives you true satisfaction. Things you love doing. Love what you do also. However, friends, whenever you don't have a pure conscience and an inner peace towards a thing you are about doing, never venture into it at all. Live each day in such a way that you will retire to your bed at the end of the day without any regret.
Trust God and believe on Him for your future.

Religion / Do We Look Alike by Holyfire1(m): 8:10pm On Sep 16, 2016
WE LOOK ALIKE BUT WE DON'T SEE ALIKE
We don't have to look alike to see alike. You might be seeing the worst of all times but I'm seeing the best of opportunities of all times. You might be seeing a seed being buried but I am seeing the same seed as being planted. You might be seeing a "pleasuring toy" and a potential harlot in that young teenage girl but I am seeing in the same girl, a mother and a feminist with a vision and a voice to the nations. The me you see without seeing anything worthwhile is the same me someone else had been seeing as a world Changer. The letters you see in this short piece as dancing words, is the same piece someone else sees as a mind blowing message.

There is always a great figure behind every image you see. Whenever you look at an image, don't just look at how the image looks like, try to see the figure behind the image. Beyond what those two dark spot on pure white linen hanging close to your forehead can see, see deeper than that. This is how greatness is been called forth out of men. Help others to see the great 'them' that is blind to them.
Whenever you look at that friend of yours, what do you see? Each time you look at that stubborn son of yours, what do you see?

Whenever you look at me, what do you see? Never look at the present me to conclude on me.
You might not be seeing me as someone who is adding height or gaining weight simply because you see me as someone who is not growing. Well, thanks. That might be to the best of your sight. I might appear to you as though I am not growing, simply because, daily, I am evolving far beyond adding height or gaining weight.

THE VEHICLE TO THE FUTURE

"THOSE WHO WILL LEAD THE FUTURE MUST UNDERSTAND CHINA TODAY. "

History becomes an example to the PRESENT DAY, when there is a need for us in the present to learn from the flaws and feats of the those in the past. History is the handle of the torchlight that points the direction of light into the future.

The present determines how the future will look, by first having an insight into the way the PAST was, and taking appropriate actions.
Check your historical background and you will know what has been done that should be undone, what ought to be done but left undone and what you should be doing that must be done well.
Who says the history of Africa is not the vehicle to the future of Africa? let such a person learn from the biblical history of the people of Jerusalem;

_"During the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, learned from reading the word of the Lord, as revealed to Jeremiah the prophet, that Jerusalem must lie desolate for seventy years."-Daniel 9:2(NLT)_

WE ARE ONE

Life is worth living when we don't see ourselves in the difference of our social strata or ethnical discrepancies or in our individuality, but in the unity of Him who has made us one. In the light of Him who has made ALL men in the very image of Himself.

That beggarly old man is an image of God, care for him as one. The poor little young girl across the street isn’t your bed warmer but another image of God, treat her as one.
The destitute on the street, the less privileged around you, the orphans, the widow(ers), that maid, those neighbors are all made in the same image of God, just as you are too.

Life is worth living when you put a smile on a suffering face.

Life is worth living when you give laughter to a weary soul.

Life is worth living when you live for the service of humanity.

Life is worth living when you give Jesus to a needful heart.

YOUR LIFE HAS VALUE

People live life miserably because they see nothing to life, other than the struggle to meet their need for food, clothes and shelter. Even the so called 'rich' among them all falls into this category too. This is why I will like to say that money or lack of it isn't all to life. People who see life to consist only on the basic human needs has always place a constraint upon themselves by not seeing things they are capable of doing with their life through societal development, contribution to humanity, innovation and inventions to benefit living, rather than struggling for survival.

Just as when people starts understanding that striving to meet their need for food, clothing and shelter shouldn't be their topmost priority, then is the understanding of the value of life beginning to dawn on them.

The struggle for survival mentality, predominantly in Africa is actually what is sapping out the most of our life, blinding Africans to see beyond where they are and what they can do with life. Life is valued when you see what you can give to life rather than what you can take from it.
Those basic needs we struggle get falls in place on their own accord when we value life.

“The ultimate value of life depends upon awareness and the power of contemplation rather than upon mere survival.” –Aristotle

Religion / Miracle by Holyfire1(m): 6:30pm On Aug 15, 2016
I DESIRE A MIRACLE
Whenever God does a miracle, it is His own way of telling us that He is God and He is still in charge. Miracle is an everyday activity to God, just as food is a daily intake to the stomach. Miracle is God’s everyday routine, inspired by men’s desperation and turning out to be an amazement to all and sundry.

THAT IS A MIRACLE
The reason why we seems not to recognize miracles when one happens is because we think they are normal phenomenon, which can be traced to what we did or didn’t do. Miracle does not come as a result of what we ought to do but couldn’t do or what we ought to say but didn’t say. Miracles are deliberate act of God, pushed by our faith in God.
Moreover, when something which seems to look like “the beyond the natural phenomenon” happens, we are quick to tag it a miracle. The truth be told, every miracle is divine; it comes from God, done by God, inspired by men's desperation and motivated by men's believe and trust in God, not a human programming. As long as it cannot be calculated or explained rationally. As long as you want to think it through but couldn’t phantom how it happened. As long as it is only traceable to God, doing His everyday routine. Then, that is a miracle.

While we think sleeping and waking by the sound of the alarm is not a miracle, and a fresh leg growing out of an amputated leg is one, we tend to act like an hypocrite, esteeming one of God’s act above the other. When a particular miracle happens 24hours/day, and it appears to be a normal occurrence, does it make it less of a miracle?
Since miracles are God’s routine; His normal everyday activities, it is therefore our own responsibility to always recognize God’s everyday act and don’t hesitate to say A BIG WELL DONE TO HIM. He deserves our appreciation and complement.

What then is a Miracle?
- A miracle is when you slept careless after an hectic day only to wake up to the beautiful ray of the early morning sun, shinning through your room.
- A miracle is when you wrote jargons or couldn't write anything during an exam, only to see the result turning out to be the best you have ever had.
- A miracle is when you are dumbfounded during an interview but was called upon to resume work the next day.
- A miracle is when you are recommended for a job or a program or a course, which is a lifetime opportunity and yet, you never knew who orchestrated it.
- A miracle is when the doctor diagnoses cancer today and ask you to come back tomorrow only to tell you what used to be a cancer is no more, not even a trace of it.
- A miracle is when you still eat a balanced diet of three square meal even in the face of economic recession.

I say A BIG WELL DONE TO GOD FOR ALL THESE MIRACLES.
I have seen miracle and I have enjoyed miracle. Nevertheless, I will go back on my knees to seek for more. I desire a miracle. Miracles happen everyday.
Don't miss out of today's miracle.

Literature / The Nursery: One Of The Strangest Places by Holyfire1(m): 7:44pm On Jul 15, 2016
THE NURSERY: A BIRTH PLACE OF GREATNESS (PART 1)
Plants that survive in all seasons (i.e perennial crops), are mostly first kept in a nursery for a while. The nursery provides a temporary place for these plants to be cared for, groomed and prepared unto maturity, so as to be able to withstand all seasons.

Here is where the nursery principle applies;

The difference between the man who is so hungry to be onstage now and you backstage; at the nursery is that you cherish growth and development rather than praises and commendations.

A time will come, when the man on stage becomes obsolete, either due to a shift in the natural order of things or a lack of improvement on the part of that man. At this time, it is you, at the backstage that will be required to climb up the platform. This is why I used to say "let's keep preparing ourselves."

You will one day be needed onstage, only if you had stayed enough at the nursery to get equipped and ready to withstand all seasons when you get up on stage.

Moreover, where you are presently might be your nursery. Stay there. Don't rush out. Take your time to get everything needed before going onstage; the message, the skills, the professionalism, the knowledge, the motivation and the anointing for exploit and extraordinary feat.

And to those already onstage, I say congratulations to you. But don't forget, you were once backstage in the nursery, that should humble you and give you the motivation that you haven't gotten there yet, there are more grounds to break. And to those who boycotted the nursery or rushed out of the nursery just to be seen on that exhorted platform, I say sorry for you. Why sorry? because, if you had rushed out of your nursery, you will still have to rush back there, either willingly or you will be compelled by circumstances to do so. It is better you go back there now, by your own will, or the other way round, which might be somewhat tough.

Remember, great men are not made on stages or exhorted platform. They were first prepared somewhere down in the nursery before they appear where you are seeing them today.

GET BUSY...

Take a lesson from the bees. The bees are always too busy producing sweet honey by sucking the nectar of every sweet smelling flowers.
Know this, it is either you become so busy like the bees; producing sweet honey or you become the nectar, appearing good looking but with no more values or relevance. Either you are busy being useful or you are being used. There is no two way to this.
Never forget that the sweet honey produced by the bee is an evidence that once upon a time, a busy bee was working passionately to add values to itself and invariably becoming a source of happiness to many.
Friends, its high time we get ourselves engrossed in our passion.

More so, been busy could lead to futility, if it is not directional, specific or purpose driven.
At this juncture, the question I will like to put to you is: What are you busy with?

Your ability to utilize the limited resources at your disposal, the things you like to speak about often, the thoughts that preoccupies your mind and the problem that appeals to you, all these and more are a pointer to the one thing you ought to be busy with. You aren't 'Jack', never you act like you are. 'Jack' gets so busy with EVERYTHING but ended up getting NOTHING from EVERYTHING. Get it right! Just one thing is needful, why not get busy with that.

What happens mostly in our organizations and places of work is the attitude of seeing what we do as a mere routine. When we start seeing our work as a mere routine; we get NOTHING out of it. Doing the same thing over and again is never similar to doing the same thing in a different way, over and again. WHILE THE FORMER LEADS TO BOREDOM, THE LATTER RESULTS IN INNOVATION.
Stick to your passion and get busy with it.

Are you a church leader, Are you a minister/worker in the house of God? Are you a Christian? Do you love God?

Please read this story

THE IRONY OF A CHURCH BOY

Going to church has suddenly become to me, more of a routine than a fellowship or a spiritual gathering.
Things have really changed with me, over the past few months. Though, I still attend church services regularly. However, my gaze has shifted from the bleeding side of Jesus on the cross to the tight-fitted seductive outfit of our mary-like-jezebel sisters, showing their curvy God-given endowment through most of their elastic, sleeveless microgowns, thereby making their 'assets' so conspicuous and luscious. Please! Don't be too quick to judge me, I still discharge my duty well as a worker in the ushering arm of the workforce of my church. A dedicated worker. That seems not to be fair at all, or is it?

Come to think of this, nobody seems to have noticed the changes that had suddenly encroached my precious life. All what people could see in me is the hard working, dedicated workaholic and the handsome looking church boy. Even our pastor doesn't care to know about the purity of the vessel of his workers from which the content of their services emanate from. What a pity to an insensitive church and a careless globe. Well, I won't blame them much, this is because nobody would have been able to discover my subtle but odious and rotten pretentious life style expect such a one is really spiritually sensitive or has a good servant-leader's heart.

It actually happens that today marks exactly two years I saw physically the General oversea of our church ministry . That was the first and the last time I set my eye on him. The General oversea arrival to church premises actually depict him to be a man of God's presence. As he spoke that day, I felt a deep surge rising up within me, just like the tide of an ocean. This strong surge spur me up to be dedicated to God and to my commitment to church services. I actually gave my life to Christ that day. I gave my all, until few months ago when I realized I had picked up what I once let go off and things seems to have become worsen for me.

I now do unspeakable things with myself and with some of the so called "sister's-in-the-Lord" of my church. Nefarious did that I enjoyed doing but actually hated the act.
Would anyone have thought that a teenage boy like me could get his sexual hunger and lustful desires satisfied in places like the church other than being spiritually fed and equipped. Well, personally I wouldn't be surprise. Simply because I realize I'm not the only player of this game. And not just that, but also because I have seen severally my so-called spiritual father, the resident pastor of our church engaged in the same obnoxious act severally. I had caught him countless of times and it seems to me as if it's a norm for every church leader, as he did not show any act of remorse about it. So why shouldn't I enjoy myself? Like 'spiritual-father' like 'spiritual-son.'

I have discovered that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God with all my heart, but there is a resistant within me, making me do things I wouldn't have done naturally.

My eyes are filled with tears as I pen down this. How could God still love men like me and some other unscrupulous men who are wolves in sheep clothing. After we would have touch unclean things, we still go to do the spiritual things, lifting up Holy hands and rendering services within the vineyard of God, with that same soiled and dirty hands. Still, God leaves us unhurt.
I am actually a bad boy being loved by a good God.

Friends, I have enjoyed God's grace unlimitedly and I really don't want to fall off the edge of grace. This is why I knee to pray this heart-felt prayer to God that each time I am held bound by lust, Lord I need your strength to break out. I have seen homes crumble, I have seen ministries shattered, I have also seen divine visions wallowing in the mire, all because of just a little sin. Lord, I don't want to end up a cast away. I want my best life back. I seek your sweet loving, graceful face. Accept me and restore me Oh Lord I pray.
