A trending video showing Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State berating and speaking rudely to a traditional ruler is currently generating reactions from Nigerians on social media.

The governor could be heard berating at a yet to be identified monarch at a meeting which purportedly held in the Government House in Port Harcourt.

"You, yes you. Stop shaking your head. You are one of those causing trouble," the governor was heard barking at the monarch

The governor's display happened on the same day he is playing host in the audience of the Oba in Benin in Port Harcourt, this is now eliciting negative reactions from social media users who are now accusing him of showing disrespect to Rivers traditional rulers and a trend that is almost becoming a recurring decimal from the project Governor.

The alleged recipient of the public humiliation HRH Eze Barr Onyekachi Omaowu of Omuma later sat frozenly still in what appeared the be the humiliation of a lifetime to the monarch who came in his full traditional regalia. he was not just the person humiliated but also the people whom he represents which is the entire Omuma Kingdom and we hope to hear from the people of the area in the coming days with regards to the public embarrassment given to their king.

The Leader of the Third Force in the Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rt. Hon. Igo Aguma in this interview with Ijeoma Osamor which was monitored by Holygist on the African Independent Television (AIT,) elaborates on the numerous issues preventing the resolution of the lingering APC crisis in Rivers State. He insists the progress of the party is more important and bigger than the interest and ambitions of the Transportation Minister, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and Senator Magnus Abe and urged the national party executive to seek an immediate resolution of the crisis

Now let’s start from the beginning, how did it all start? Why did you start with this whole controversy knowing that there has been so much battle in APC Rivers State?

Well my genuine love for the party, the many years I have sacrificed to build the party with other persons. And we have to say the truth. Let the polity know that the APC is not a micro party of just two persons. There are several stakeholders, statesmen and women. Who, an aggregation of every body's support base builds the party. We have a situation where for about four years since the runoff in 2015 to 2019, our effort in four years has been wasted. We had a programme that would have genuinely delivered the Free Rivers Movement as a mobilization strategy. And indeed if you saw what happened in the Presidential Election in Rivers State, it shows that if we were in the ballot, we probably would have won the governorship. Even if we didn’t, we would have had many seats in both National and State Assemblies. So you find out that the ego, the ego play is what has kept APC Rivers comatose

Before we go your final words?

I want to say that the problem in APC is resolvable. A political party is a social entity in which everyone has a stake in it. The days of feudal politics are gone. The days of Alabo said this is gone. We should come to the table; everybody included and resolve the issue. We are indeed a party poised to bust out in Rivers State.

On Friday, 29th May 2015, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike was sworn in as the 6th Governor of Rivers state in an eagerly anticipated inauguration ceremony at the Liberation Stadium in Elekahia, Port Harcourt and was witnessed by thousands of Rivers people. Many of whom their votes had helped earn the governor a landslide victory at the 2015 governorship election. Minutes later, NEW, as his supporters prefer to call him addressed a highly expectant people about the nature and focus of the government he intended to run in his first tenure.

The people’s expectations were rightly high. The twilight of the administration of his predecessor had been tortuous on many. Salaries were owed. The era of insecurity was gradually returning. An aggravated battle between the state and then central government would only add salt on an already blistering fresh injury. Indeed some of these factors ultimately swayed votes against his predecessor’s All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Dr Dakuku Peterside and helped the governor amass over 70% of votes. Hence many were keenly looking forward to a favourable social welfare policy to stem the tide of lack and hunger which had enveloped the state.

N.E.W appeared to understand the yearnings and desires of the people, it would seem he read their minds as that his historic address showed. He touched on just about every area that needed attention and promised even more. Amongst the numerous promises he made that morning shortly after his inauguration which bordered on the welfare of the people, Chief Wike said:
“Our women are our wealth.

The new vision means empowering women through concrete and direct initiatives to enable them to build strong family values and play key roles in the development of the State. More importantly, we will work to reduce the rate of maternal mortality in our society, promote gender equality and discourage all forms of discrimination against women as deliberate policies of our administration.


“We believe that our youths represent our strength and our future. Our goal is to develop the youth to realize their full potentials as future leaders who constitute the critical mass of our human capital asset base. We will create opportunities for the youth to acquire needs-based vocational training and lifelong skills that will enable them gainfully fit into the society. Our Government will partner with the private sector to expose our young ones to the numerous opportunities provided by Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the oil and gas industry and entrepreneurship development.

comparing this government with the previous ones. Governor Wike’s government is elitist. The governor has shown that he is less concerned about the welfare of Rivers people. That is just the truth,” submits Living Olavokere, a youth leader from Abua/Odual Local Government Area of the State.


“Former Governor Odili tried in terms of social welfare and job creation. He was the first to introduce overseas scholarship in our nascent democracy. Today most of the beneficiaries are doing well. Former Governor Rotimi Amaechi took it to a higher level, sent lots of Rivers sons and daughters to credible universities abroad to study. He did not stop there; he went further to employ qualified Rivers sons and daughters into the civil service.

In the health sector, he did not only employ doctors and nurses, he gave them free vehicles for mobility made other necessary provision which made the primary health centres during his tenure very active. So you just cannot compare what Wike is doing to that one. Those benefitting are just himself, family members and those very close to him,” Olavokere maintained.

There was pandemonium on Friday when members of the Onne Transport Union comprising Okada and Keke riders with support from members of the community disrupted the launch ceremony of a new taxi scheme funded by the Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) and the Oil and Gas Free Zone Authority (OGFZA) to replace Okada and Keke operation in the industrial zone.


Holygist findings revealed trouble had started when the local transport operators had resumed daily operations but were served memos from the authorities informing them of the new taxi scheme and prohibition of there services from February 1, 2020. The action, our correspondent irked both the operators and their leaders who presumably had no prior knowledge and were seeing their only source of livelihood being taken away with no consultation or palliatives to full back on.

In a rather interesting twist of event, Former Acting Youth President of Onne Community, Hon. Samuel Onwinkpe is now accusing the NPA/OGFZA of colluding to shortchange him and his people by executing key items in his proposal on the same project without as much as notifying him or any member of the community.


An aggrieved Onwinke while displaying copies of the proposal originally submitted in 2015 to Holygist said yesterday's ceremony came to him as a shock as the authority had in it's last correspondence on the proposal in 2017 promised to revert to him once it was ready to execute it. The Former Onne Youth President said a staff confided in him only yesterday that management had opted to contract the purchase of the vehicles to a Yoruba instead at the last minute, continuing in its tradition of "neglect and disregard for Onne people".


"I did not even know about the launch. I was simply going to FOT (in Onne) when I saw a crowd gathered. I stepped down to enquire about the issue only to be told that the NPA and OGFZA released a memo directing that Keke and taxis will be banned with effect from February and that they were launching a new taxi scheme to replace them. I was taken aback. The idea was never even to leave my people stranded. They were supposed to be incorporated in it. More so it was a security measure to be able to regulate vehicular movement and human traffic so we can have a database of the operators and if there is any incident we know who to apprehend.


"I sent the proposal since 2015 to the NPA when Hassan was still there. He liked it. In 2016, they suspended work on it on the ground that they wanted to make it global.

I wish to use this medium to appeal to leaders across the four LGAs in Ogoni to quickly intervene into this upcoming press war about the activities and outcome of the recent "Miss Ogoni" beauty pageant that was hosted a few weeks ago.

For the purpose of clarity, I may draw our attention to the fact that the contestants were about six(6) in number. These contestants were all beautiful Ogoni young and intelligent ladies with visions and passions to impact on Ogoni through their talents and skills.

This young lady is a gifted musician and had gotten that experience of public presentation before now,

Many individuals and groups have recently taken up great steps in tackling most of the national ills from different parts of the country. one of such is that which was at first note handled by one of Nigeria's underground yet proficient social group called the "Excellent Achievers Movement" in collaboration with "Rennaisance for Peace and Empowerment Initiative".

Highlights On The Administration Of The Federal Capital Territory.

The federal capital territory commonly known as FCT is a federal territory in central Nigeria. Abuja the capital city is located in this territory and was formed in 1976 from parts of the states of Kwara, Niger, Kaduna and Plateau state with the highest landmark carved from Niger state.

It is more within the middle belt region of the country, but unlike other states of the country which are headed by elected governors, it is administered by the federal capital territory administration headed by a minister appointed by the president.

The federal capital territory administration (FCTA) is a Nigerian ministry that administers the federal capital territory of Nigeria, it is headed by a minister appointed by the president, assisted by a permanent secretary.

The federal capital territory administration was created by President Olusegun Obasanjo on December 31, 2004 following the scrapping of the ministry of the Federal Capital territory (MFCT).

And there were seven new mandate and secretariats created which includes; 1. Education 2.Transport 3. Agriculture 4. Rural Development 5. Human & Health Services 6. Social development and 7. Legal Service & Area Council.

These Secretariats were headed by non-career civil servants in an attempt to reduce administrative bottlenecks as it were.
Several agencies are funded by the federal capital territory administration (FCTA) including the Abuja Environmental protection Board, concerned with waste collection and disposal and other environmental matters;

The Abuja Geographical information system which provides a geo-spatial data infrastructure and a one-stop for all land matters for the FCT used to facilitate land acquisition and collect all land-related revenue for the FCT; the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC) is for various municipal services, and the Federal Capital Development Authority FCDA and others.

The reason why we are gathered here today is to make a demand from President Muhamadu Buhari GCFR and to put it on record that this demands has been made with good intentions in a bid to right the wrongs that has persisted for so long because men of courage has kept silent and people of goodwill has feigned ignorance of the ignoble gestures at the sharing table occasioned against the good people of the south by the north in collaboration with the federal government.

Our demand here today is simple, as it places no burden upon the president or the country but a task to show courage and entrench the “federal character” which has drastically dwindle and ignored under this administration to a level never seen before, this demand is in line with the CHANGE MANTRA and a call for demonstration of INTEGRITY as propagated by the President which is one of the ingredients for which he was voted into power.

This call is necessitated by the constitutional need to create more cohesion in the country and to appeal to those who feel marginalized and to douse the tension of secession already heightened across all region of the country as this singular demand if granted, will quell the call and demand for separation to a reasonable minimum while the government work on other modalities to bring about the UNITY that is necessary for the growth and development of this country.

This demand if granted will be a starting point towards ending the perceived injustices that has beclouded our hearts as it will be a step towards balancing the brutally skewed power-sharing formula and allocation of sensitive positions across all region and geo-political zones as it currently is today in our beloved country Nigeria where the north is arguably taking the lion-share at the expense of others even to the detriment or peril of those whose land possesses the wealth that sustains the nation.

THE UGLY NATURE OF TRUTH

“Truth they say is bitter” but the true meaning of this metaphorical expression is elusive to the vast majority of people who sojourn endlessly all through life in the quest for finding it, and most people when they eventually walks close to the corridor where TRUTH resides,

many passes out because of the sacred, scary and ugly nature of TRUTH hence the vast majority of people today does not really encounter Truth all through their life journey no matter how hard they try so they end up living with the LIE even when the TRUTH is staring them at the face and this is the situation of majority of the APC supporters in Rivers State and Nigeria in extension today, but the quest for TRUTH is a journey every upright individual in life should embark upon no matter how arduous it may seem because upon discovery and consummation,

the glory of its possession brings light that illuminates our life and projects us to the path of our destiny although am going to dwell on Rivers APC for the sake of clarity on this piece.

I am not a politician neither do I carry the card of any political party but as a realist and a progressive youth of Rivers state and a social analyst, I felt compel to speak at this time to awaken the consciousness of the vast majority of the youths whose destiny and mental capacity has been substituted with a subservient believe that they cannot make it in life without bowing down to a demi god that doesn’t have their interest at heart, they complement him even when he is so wrong and continue to sing “CRA Lead I Follow” even when he is leading them to the slaughter house.

The continuous Hark-Back to the past of the Hon. Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon Chibuike Amaechi on how he is being betrayed by those he helped and the continued Hallosinunu from him is one that brings his honesty and mental capacity to question because the continued Harp-on about the topic of betrayal is one that shouldn’t come from someone in his position if his self-esteem and honesty was still in place.

Take the picture back to 1999, when Amaechi Started his political career, he came into political visibility on the aegis of Sir Dr. Peter Odili who against all odds made him the speaker of the house of assembly while Sen. Magnus Abe went to the assembly on his own accord on the platform of ANPP through the goodwill of his people, but the story of Amaechi and Dr. Peter Odili today is one that needs no recollection and if there is anything worse than betrayal, then that is what Ameachi served the man who brought him to limelight and as such should not talk about Betrayal for he is the master-craft of the said word.

Bringing it a little forward to 2007, before the Hon. Minister became the governor during his K-LEG misdemeanour that exiled him from the country, it took the effort of few individuals to turn the hand of injustice aright and enthroned him a governor while still in his hideout on exile, and he categorically mention two names which include (a) Magnus Ngei Abe & (b) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on the day of his thanks giving as those who made it possible for him to ascend the office but the records of his relationship with these individual today will buttress the essence for my submission that Amaechi is an enemy to himself and to those around him and his environment.

The TRUTH is always there for all to see and am not fro-ward to impugn about his position as a leader because grace and destiny has made it so but his continuous huff off from the truth and looking for whom to blame about the crisis in Rivers APC is one that required him to re-access himself before he falls from grace, and just as H.E Nyesom Wike has rightly suggested when he said he should be recommended for psychiatric evaluation, many realist like myself do not consider it an insult but a brotherly advice to a fellow Ikwerre Man.

The crisis in Rivers APC is one that was unnecessary but for the Megalomaniac nature of the self-acclaimed lion who only “Roars but can’t Devour”, and because he was set out with a singular agenda of stopping Magnus Abe from contesting for governor owing to the mass appeal and yearning from the members of the party who are aware of the capacity of the distinguish senator, Ameachi plunged Rivers APC into an Abyss of uncertainty which may put the party into permanent oblivion if something urgent is not done to curtail his dictatorial tendencies because of his quest for a stooge as governor who can further his course for a selfish political dynasty and this is the UGLY TRUTH.

Magnus Abe today has become a political Marshmallow to the people of goodwill and sound mind across Rivers State and beyond because he has shown character, capacity and intelligence needed for a good leader as opposed to the Oedipus-Complex state of mind that the Transport Minister has shown each time he accuses Abe of Betraying Him and working with Gov. Wike Against his party.

The greatest adversary of The Hon. Minister of transport Rotimi Amaechi is the microphone, because each time they come in contact it rapes him and leaves him bare necked and exposes his past, present and future, and leaves him at the cross road at the brink of self-destruction with no hiding place and this trend doesn’t seem would end any soon.

THE UGLY TRUTH

The Ugly TRUTH as at today is that Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi does not love Rivers State and is doing everything to destroy APC and is responsible for majority of the security challenges we have in Rivers State today, and my reasons are as follows.

Amaechi is responsible for the instability In Rivers APC
Amaechi has robbed Rivers People of a viable opposition that should be checkmating the current PDP led government which is necessary for good governance
Amaechi masterminded the disregard for the court injunction on the illegal delegate election which is the crux of the problem of Rivers APC today.
Amaechi brought in a political alien in the person of TDC to usurp the position of those who had sacrificed everything they had to build the party APC
Amaechi has not attracted any meaningful developmental project from the federal gov’t to Rivers State but he only comes to the state to instigate violence anytime there is an election
Amaechi is promoting the Ikwerre Agenda to the detriment of fairness and equity in the state
And another angle to this whole imbroglio is the ripple effect the situation is having on the good people of Rivers State across party lines and that’s why some apolitical citizens like myself is voicing out my displeasure with the whole scenario.

The preconception that the Hon. Minister has crested on the minds of the people outside Rivers State on insecurity is DE marketing the state, the time and opportunity lost which may never be regained because of the crisis he is instigating, the lost hopes and glory of the teeming Rivers youth,

Indeed Ameachi has actually robbed Rivers people of the benefit of good governance but some of our youth and even elder has chosen to play the fool by assuming the whole of the devil’s advocate of the Minister by constantly defending him even when it is glaringly clear that his actions and decision is only sinking the ship.

Amaechi is not a God he is human and his actions and utterances has become a recipe for disaster and chaos at all times, his lies against Abe and his supporters is not doing the party and the state any good hence he needs to stop and take a retrospective view of his actions, and if he wishes well for Rivers State then there should be a change of heart from him,

NOTE:

An Africa adage says “You don’t beat a child and expects him not to cry” and “you don’t go close to fire and expect not to sweat”

Sir Isaac Newton’s third law of motion states that “ To every action there is an equal And Opposite Reaction” and soon Rivers people will react against him if they have not already started,

And Bob Marley also said that “You Can Fool Some People Sometimes But You Can’t Fool Everybody All The Time” Rivers state has seen worse days than the Armageddon foisted upon us today by Amaechi so we will surely survive him.

Every Rivers man deserves the RIGHT the aspire to any level including Abe and that is how it is supposed to be. Enough is enough.

Our attention has been drawn to the information making the rounds on major online platforms concerning the family of BENIAH AGOBOYE who cried out to the public concerning the health and heart condition of their child BENIAH sometime last week.

The story making the rounds with Mr. Agoboye Monday’s picture to have absconded with N70m is not true so we wish to state the following.


1. That at no time did Agoboye Monday abscond with the money and left the baby as claimed

2. That the outcry and appeal for support from the public were genuine and was necessitated by the deteriorating state of Beniah’s health due to his heart condition.

3. That Beniah Agoboye is the child of Mr. Agoboye Monday F contrary to the claims in some section of the media that he was a hired baby used to scam the public.

Sometime over the weekend, an appeal was made to the public through different media platforms concerning the health challenge of a baby called Beniah Agoboye.

“We are the world, so let’s make it a better place for baby Beniah” was the anthem

This made rounds on the internet as the case of baby Beniah, a child who has a heart condition which have altered his growth coupled with a whole lot of discomfort when breathing due to multiple holes in his heart.

This led his father who has on several occasions tried to reach out to those he thought are capable to help save his baby as the baby has a short time to live if not quickly and adequately attended to, but these attempts were futile for over a year.

This became a concern to the public when he was seen on the streets of Port Harcourt crying with little hope left in him but due to intervention of God, Holygist Media Team and 2 patriotic Nigerian by the name Mr. Lexy M and Mr. Solomon Lenu then put his touching story to the public through the means available them which is the social media.

And God in his infinite mercies granted the heart desire of the Agobye’s family through the kind donation of many well-meaning Nigerians and even foreigners from all over the world.

I haven’t been touched deeply or emotionally like the way I was on Thursday January 24th Jan 2019, driving through the front of Gov’t house gate I saw a neatly dressed young man been beaten and pushed around by the Gov’t house police,

At first I thought he was a criminal or an imposter who was trying to gain access into the premises illegally but then I was shocked what I discovered when I took a closer look at the young man.

I noticed that the young man was carrying a baby that was barely alive and gasping for breath, I became curious and triggered to seek more information.

I also found out that the young man being beaten was the father who was only trying out the last resort to save the life of his child. He came to the gov’t house gate just to see if providence will smile on him just like the man at the beautiful gate so that he could get assistance from the Governor peradventure he leaves or gets into the premises.

This sad event wouldn’t have happened if not for the poor manner the security agents choose to despatch their acclaimed duty by choosing to be ruthless and further act as though he was a prime enemy of the state.

The young man had no other means to reach the Governor as he has on several occasions written letters appealing for any form of assistance that could aid him to preserve the life of his baby.

Making an attempt to salvage the situation I then walked right across the road in an attempt to pick him up and he sighted me and broke out in a loud cry calling to God. He was solely all about saving the child because he cried to help save his son because that was all he had.

This broke me; I didn’t even know when I broke into tears with him right in the middle of the road in from of the Rivers state gov’t house.

I offered to reach out to him and saw the child who had barely 2months to live if a heart surgery is not performed urgently and it has to be done abroad and the time was fast ticking.
Now the painful part of this whole issue is that…

The young man is from Okrika LGA in Rivers State. But what happened to the Rivers State Health Care programs?
What has the ministry & Commissioner for Health done because he said he has written, met and even pleaded with him for help yet to no avail.

He has done all he could to draw the attention of the government to the predicament his little child is facing but it all fell on deaf ears because the baby is a child of a poor man who has no say or connection in the society.

Little Beniah has multiple holes in his heart from birth and this has put his life on the brink, he needs a replacement surgery oversea at the cost of 15 million naira, but if we can show some humanity by using the little we have to save the life of this little baby, then we have made this world a better place for this little boy and his family and it is not insurmountable if we try,

Malaysia’s king, Sultan Muhammad V created a mark in history as he abdicated on Sunday, ending weeks of speculation about his future after he took medical leave and reportedly married a Russian ex-beauty queen.

The national palace confirmed the resignation with immediate effect of the 49-year-old, who had been on the throne for two years and was known for his fondness for four-wheel driving and other extreme sports.

“His majesty tells the people of Malaysia to continue to be united to maintain unity, tolerance, and work together,” said a statement from the Comptroller of the Royal Household, Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz.

Malaysia’s Islamic rulers will now meet to decide on the next king.


Malaysia is a constitutional monarchy, with a unique arrangement where the throne changes hands every five years between rulers of the nine Malaysian states headed by centuries-old Islamic royalty.

The system has been in place since independence from Britain in 1957.

Royal officials gave no reason for Sultan Muhammad V’s move but there had been a question mark over the king’s reign since he went on leave for medical treatment in November.

Reports in British and Russian media then surfaced saying that he had married the former Miss Moscow in the Russian capital in a lavish ceremony.

Royal officials in Malaysia have so far not commented on the rumoured marriage, or given any details about the state of the king’s health.

Speculation intensified about the king’s future after his medical leave officially finished at the end of December, and the country’s Islamic royals reportedly held a special meeting last week.

On the 27th day of Dec 2018, a day after the Boxing day the HolyGist media team went on a fact-finding mission to the Camp of a former militant leader and Ex agitator in the Niger Delta struggle by the name Chief Solomon Ndigbara AKA Osama.

This interview took place in a dense and tick indescribable forest in a community in Rivers State, our neutrality and sincerity of purpose was tested and confirmed by their own means before we were granted passage and access to the general himself, but we were amazed by the number of followers he had in this location and how loyal they were to him, but for clarity sake we shall dwell upon the important issue of insecurity which was discussed in this interview.

The interview started with his introduction as he mentioned his names and titles accorded to him by his community, and it was also discovered that he was a crowned chief in his community of yeghe in Gokana LGA of Rivers state.

Question: What is your name Sir?

Answer : My name is Chief Solomon Ndigbara, Mene sirabarabarateera 1 of Ogoni Land

Question: Is Osama a good man or a bad man?

Answer: My own Osama is a good man.

We once heard that you were declared wanted by the gov’t and we heard what the military and gov’t did to your home and then you went ahead to sue them, how is the matter going now and what is the position of the case?

Answer: Last month they called off the matter but you know that this matter was cooked up by the politicians, and everybody in Ogoni kept silent, and they know the level of peace that we had in Ogoni before this incident because of my presence in the community, but now nobody is there to talk to this boys, and nobody is helping the chiefs in the communities.

And I myself am not a cultist, and you know that you can only fight cultism if you are not a cultist because they are there to destroy the lives of people and destroy their community, so when this issue happened they destroyed my house even up to the bush where i camp then, they even came with four Armoured cars, and I know that the God I serve save me and the boys that day so nothing happened to us, it is only property they destroyed.

currently we have so many issues of insecurity in Rivers State like Kidnapping, Killing, Cultism and Robbery and lots of problems in the State, but we have been told that it is people like you that will know what is the real cause of these problem, because before now Rivers State use to be a very peaceful place where people travel from far and near to come and relax and enjoy themselves but the news today is that Rivers State is not safe and if you look into it, you will see some truth in this claim, so we want to ask you what is the cause of this level of insecurity in Rivers State?

Answer: The politicians is the cause of the problems we have in Rivers State in the sense that, looking at what happened to me, they did not catch anybody that said Solo is their master or Solo gave them gun, but because of politics they cook stories from Abuja that Solo is a Gun Runner, but you came to my house, destroy my house and did not find even a single bullet, how can such person be a Gun Runner? So to destroy me; all the boys that we had earlier called to order and educated them on the good and bad of what they were doing, was latter regroup by politicians and giving Army Uniforms so that they can kill Solo.

But now it has backfired and revised back because all those boys they gave Guns, they could not retrieve the Guns from them and now they are using it against INNOCENT people, but had it been they use it against those that bought it for them, I would have been happy.

HRM Sir Dr Samuel Oluka Ejire, JP Oneh Eh Eleme X (Owner of The Kingdom of Eleme The fifth) Was born on the 16th of November 1929
Started his career as a photographer and join the Nigerian Tide as a chief photographer, before then worked with UAC foods Calabar but he took his voluntary retirement and became a community leader.

With quite a humble beginning, he rose to the highest yam title holder in the kingdom, the first to have the privilege of being recognized twice, first as a 2nd class chief in 1985 and again as a 1st class king in 2004.

He was a Christian and a soldier for Christ as a knight of the Good Shepherd KSG. The first king in Rivers state to use his palace for the church.

The most prosperous king that brought rapid growth and development to Eleme Kingdom, and under him Eleme got all she deserves and even more.

This is safe to say because, the period under his leadership brought about a positive transition in the life of the people of Eleme kingdom and the people started being considered in the scheme of things at home and beyond and this owes to the fact that king Ejire was a man who loves his people and do anything possible for the liberation of the people of Eleme Kingdom.

He was very simple, cheerful and never vindictive in his judgement as a king and this made a lot of people misjudge him as being too soft, but this was a God-given attribute that endeared him into the hearts of many who understood the ingredients of good leadership hence he was highly regarded amongst his colleagues.
