Money na b problem.. The question is.. Will d guy use mr A result against him As in.. Can he exchange mr A's result with somebody's own

feyisayorrr: Seems there is little or no pharmacy aspirant here but anyway i'm one...i av 56% as my aggr score and i'm 4rm ondo state,any hope ?...and plz if anyone has information about d results (scores) of other pharmacy aspirants dat u'v seen or heard about,plz let me know,just wanna know my chances coz my score is just too low 4 dat course.

One thing I noticed was that... Uniben used both screening score n aggregate..
E.g LAW.. I noticed those who scored 60 n above in Screening as well as aggregate were admitted IN tHE MERIT LIST.. Atleast, this I noticed in Edo aspirants...as I was closer to them (I'm a Deltan BTW ) but maybe the general cutoff was 62 or so for other states

while in the 2nd batch, those with 59 downwards in screening but 6O n above as aggregate were admitted to study some specific courses eg Linguistics, pol science edu, Religion, philosophy ,etc..(This applied strictly to Edo, n a few Deltans) I bet local govt was also considered.

It was same with other courses.. As a matter of fact, Uniben Also do look at your local govt when issuing admission.

Let's say use the names of football clubs in place of Local govt.. A. manUtd. B.chelsea

2 players from each club..
ManUtd(van persie, Rooney,)

2players from chelsea(Hazard, lampard)

They all played a competition.. For ManUtd,Rooney scored 7 goals, v.persie scored 6... While for Chelsea, Hazard scored 5 and Lampard scored 4)

lets say they need 2 players to rep England in blah blah competition..

Usually, don't you think they would pick Rooney n Van persie cuz they scored the most goals?

But that would be unfair to Chelsea..right? So here's what they do? They have to pick one from EACH club.. Hence they will pick Rooney who scored 7 and Hazard who scored 5... LEAVING VAN PERSIE WHO SCORED 6!!!

u may say.. But Van Persie scored 6 na..isn't that unfair?no, its not.. And that's where Catchment area comes in... That's where "Federal Character" comes in.

You know..it always hurt when mediocrity is enthroned over meritocrisy..n that's why, with my 58..no admission last year, but hearing someone with 55 getting LAW..I swear..I felt Like laying curses on Uniben..right from the V.C to the lecturers to the staffs..even to the main gate..their chairs..desk..tables..everything!

But for a moment, I stopped, got information..reasoned everything together,understood n tend to be very careful with the next jamb..n odas..n ThAnk GOD for bringing me this far n I believe HE will finish what HE started..

I believe with this, you guys now understand.. So when you see 53 admitted..n 55 not yet admitted..Dont just jump into conclusion it's "runs" (tho' there were such corrupt acts last year..bt e get skul wey no dey do am..? But Thank God, uniben own no too bad.. Go Delsu make u see things).

so When u see such, ask yourself.. "Are we from the same state?" if yes, ask yourself.. "are we from the same local govt?" if yes.. Ask yourself "are we of the same sex?"..(not sure if uniben does the sex thing sha o,but dere are schools that places more relevance female education than male.)

and one thing I must say is..I believe Uniben delibrately made the postume questions "not so difficult" cuz after the Jamb performance, I bet they wanted to boost people's score.. Imagine taking scores like 34..39 to jamb office for admission.. Questions will arise na

and I've said it before..n still saying it again, this year won't be like last year.. Virtually everyone here will be admitted..it all boils down to the course you will be given.

So, watch out for SEPTEMBER 2ND for the Merit List ..no1 told me, strictly based on logistics.

jelel6: from what I can understand, many of you guys think that uniben is free from corrupt practices, as regards adminsion. And that amazes me.^
I got a friend who applied for law last year, she got aggregate 62. She had someone from the inside who told her that she would be admitted with his help. The list came out and her name was not there. The second list came out and she was given an educational course to. She didnt want to accept it so the man did his tweaking and she was transferred to international relation and strategic studies. And all this happened in the so called "transparent uniben". Give me a break jor. If you have a lead use it.

iamdsam: It pains me that I changed my institution from UNIBEN to DELSU against my will. I'm deeply regretting it now. My JAMB score was 238 which wasn't a bad score. I'm confused
