abridged Nigeria Premier League
for the coming season, officials
have disclosed.
The new League season is now
expected to kick off in February
immediately after the
Championship of African Nations
(CHAN) in South Africa.
The season will also be expected
to end in May to allow for the
preparation for the 2014 World
Cup in Brazil.
Organisers are now likely to split
the 20-team championship into
two groups with the top two
clubs from each group clashing
in a round-robin playoff to
determine the league champions.
“Clubs are already getting feelers

meet the Fifa May deadline for
the World Cup preparations,” a

Johnpaul88: I didn't give blanket statements. I actually provided examples. When you compare chances created against with respect to goals conceded as a result, then you'll find that they indeed have better defence. Out of every 4 chances created against us, at least one yields a goal.

Austeenx: Do we have CBs? As in, CBs that can defend corner kicks, free kicks, etc.

Johnpaul88: I'll agree with the person that says so. Arsenal defence can withstand alotta pressure unlike ours & they can defend set pieces unlike ours. The understanding between Kolcieny & Matersacker in the heart of their defence have really blossomed. Can we say the same for our own? Definitely not! We don't even know our best defensive partnership!

I just pray all this changes by the time the Citizens come to town
