The seasoned tactician has been dismissed as the handler of the reigning Nigeria topflight kings following string of poor results.

Okey Emordi has been fired as Kano Pillars coach after his side played a 3-3 draw against Lobi Stars in Makurdi.
The reigning league champions gave up a three-goal lead to let the hosts snatch a point in the keenly contested affair at the Aper Aku Stadium.

The former Enyimba boss replaced Baba Ganaru at the helm of the Pyramid Boys following his exit in January 2014 – and under his care, the team were sent packing in the preliminary stage of the Caf Champions League.
