Will you stop posting same thread all over again? https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-522914.0.html |
^^^^^ This is not a Jonathan thing, it's the wife that's causing this uproar with the ministry of women affairs. sucks. I just wonder how this woman behaves at home when she's with GEJ |

^^^^ you are right bro, we are all to be blamed for the woes of this country, no one can prosper in an uncomfortable environment, we have given these thieves too much comfort, that's why they are growing fat to the detriment of the masses. we need to make life hard for them by blocking all the loopholes. REGISTER, VOTE, DEFEND YOUR VOTE and PURSUE those voted in until they do all they promised pre-election time. |
Yes we surely need another striker, i don't like a one type of striker we have right now. |
A bag of rice cost 7,000-9,000 naira, not even 6,000 naira why didn't they use the billions they spent here on better things for God's sake? Nigerians are not dying of daily food, rather most of us are dying from lacking what should be bringing the daily food. give these Nigerians just #500,000 thousand and they will turn it to millions in a copy of months. village woman. ![]() |
2 million bags of rice X #6,000 = #12,000,000,000 just share 1 million naira each to citizens of Nigeria and you would have done a great thing in the lives of these people, who's this woman self? why would you share a bag of rice to people (won't even last more than 1 month before they resume their daily struggle again) when you can as well give them #1 million each? the pensioners are out there yet to be paid, what's wrong with this village woman? ![]() |
^^^ That is not true, have you ever voted and defended your vote before? do you know what voting and defending your vote means? |
wow, you have all these batteries? |
^^^^ Good to know you have finally chose an option (the mourning option). please i would like to know when you are likely to stop mourning, one more thing, those who mourn don't eat, nor drink, i hope you are not eating and drinking? if you do, then you are a big hypocrite. lastly, if you want a better Nigeria, don't sit on your butt, go out there, register, vote, compel people to go register, vote and make sure they defend their votes. if we have just 10 fasholas as governors in Nigeria, trust me, this country won't remain this way, whether you like it or not, we need more physical work like the one he's doing, and i pray come 2011, we will at least get 5 of his likes as governors. |
^^^^ You are the confused one here, you live 2,000 miles away and you get fed with negative news about Nigeria on a daily basis, yet you have the gut to say those living under the same "negativity" you watch and listen to all day in US should not celebrate, if we choose to celebrate, fine it's our call, like i said, it's not a force thing, if you don't see anything to celebrate about, why not mourn from now till thy kingdom come? we have used almost the whole year to whine, mourn and nag, tomorrow's just 1 day to at least appreciate the fact that we call the shots ourselves, be it negative or positive calls, all i know is that it's still Nigerians that call the shots. One more thing, no one is saying we have arrived, but even in our "miserable" stage, there should be a time to at least appreciate and reflect on the few good things about the country, if you can't appreciate the little you have achieved, you will never appreciate much when they start coming. |
bidemi12:the last time i checked, your profile says "Savannah GA" where in Nigeria is that? ![]() Odunnu:babe, i dey jare, that guy said today again, but not online, waiting for him, can you come on FB? lets talk through FB |
Ranoscky:It's not by force to celebrate, like i said before, you can choose to mourn for the whole of the day, no one is stopping you from doing that, just because you don't have a car should not make you stop those who were able to get a car from this same country, you don't even know if i also have a car, but that should not stop me from celebrating and appreciating the fact that this country is still together even with all the bad news and all that. you have more years to mourn, Friday is just ONE DAY, you can choose to mourn for the whole day or maybe take a sleeping pill for 24hrs OK? which one would you like to choose? the mourning or the sleeping pill option? for your information, i am home and have been home, so quit the UK, US shit you are saying, I BET YOU, YOU CAN NEVER BE MORE NIGERIAN THAN ME. |

18:30 Rubin Kazan ? - ? Barcelona about to start. |
The Nigeria Premier League (NPL) will now commence on October 23 with a record 24 clubs including Bayelsa United, after a meeting between football officials and the Nigerian Sports ministry. Bayelsa United, one of four relegated clubs at the end of last season, have consistently fought against their relegation, claiming they should have been awarded three vital points against Wikki Tourists in their final game of the season, when the match was abandoned by the home team. Last weekend, the NPL announced that the season will kick off October 2, when the earlier date of September 25 was discarded by the NFF. But even that new date was rendered unfeasible by a plethora of protests from various stakeholders led by Bayelsa United and including referees, and the players' union. Bayelsa chairman Victor Rumson Baribote threatened to go to court to halt the League kickoff if his club were relegated, a threat that prompted the meeting with the sports ministry. The current decision means that all four previously relegated clubs will now contest in the 2010/2011 season along with four newly-promoted clubs. So Bayelsa United, Wikki Tourists, Gateway and Ranchers Bees will keep their places in the Premier League where they will be joined by promoted clubs Crown FC, Bukola Babes, JUTH and Plateau United. This enlarged representation means the League will now have to draw up new fixtures, and sources at the NPL also told KickOffNigeria.com that the League is considering splitting the league into two streams of 12 teams each, with a playoff for the Top Four teams to decide the League winner. Four clubs would then be relegated from each stream at the end of the season, with two promoted on both sides to return the competition to its normal 20 clubs at the end of the current season. |
