Ajibel: No, I am not
But, there are others reading and they would swallow your assertions as true. That's what I want to correct
The only bragging right you have over us is that long unbeaten run. You can see that was why I was excited to break the news quickly for FP. And if you want to know, when the scores was 0-2 to Nasarawa, I had composed that article in my Notepad waiting to post it on NL at full time What i said remains the truth bro. NPL/NPFL B2B2B winner remains KP. NL (general) B2B2B2B winner remains Heartland. Nothing different, it remains the truth... |

Ajibel: I know that, so bro, if you want to discuss the NPFL with a novice, a first timer, would you exclude the pre-NPFL era so that you can conveniently say Kano Pillars is the king of back-to-back But i wasn't discussing with a novice na abi u be novice? lol |
Sports › Re: Enyimba Fc Football Pitch by honeric01(mod): 9:36am On Aug 26, 2015 |
Ajibel: You keep on referring to their difference.
The only difference I see here is the change of name.
The NPFL is also called GloPL, on Wikipedia it is called Nigeria Premier League.
The Federations cup was formally known as Challenge cup. All these are name changes that shouldn't warrant argument in the first place. Yes i referred to the change of name, the change of now says alot too, its used to distinguish past winners from current winners. you can also use the era of 6 countries playing the world cup/nations cup to differentiate a period where 32/24 teams play. The latter would be more competitive than the former, true or false? |
Sports › Re: Enyimba Fc Football Pitch by honeric01(mod): 9:28am On Aug 26, 2015 |
Ajibel: This was your statement that you made which is wrong that brought me into this argument.
You said Pillars is the only club to win the NPFL
The other poster countered your claim and provided facts.
Then you went ahead to say vvvv
Meaning you believe because the League then when Enyimba won it 3ce in a row wasn't called NPFL, so it shouldn't be considered You sabi pass this na haba.. NPL was formed 2002 by Galadima NPFL was formed in 2012. As far these 2 are concerned, KP remains d only club, but when it comes to the NL in general, Heartland FC ( Iwuanyanwu nationale) remains the king of B2B. Oga you suppose know this abi dragging right don blind you? |
Sports › Re: Enyimba Fc Football Pitch by honeric01(mod): 7:40am On Aug 26, 2015 |
Ajibel: Obviously, I'm not disputing the fact that Iwuanyanwu now called Heartland FC (If you dont know) did it too. And in fact, there's was 4 straight times and it's something we Enyimba envy them for, even if the League then was a 12 team League. You can't just discard history to suit yourself.
Do you also know that Enugu Rangers are considered to have won the NPFL title 6 times, when in reality, it was just 5 but they were given credit for 1 more title, the year they came second in the league but went ahead to represent Nigeria in the continent for God-knows-why.
That's why Enyimba and Rangers are considered teams with the most NPFL titles. And why Enyimba is chasing a record 7th title. Note the bold letters. If Rangers were given the title, Enyimba would have had the most record of titles, but have you seen any Enyimba fan, knowing the case that happened with Rangers, still go ahead to claim we are the club with the most ttitles
I believe you are better enlightened, so I got pissed off seeing you trying to distort history like some of those Ignorant Kano Pillars fans on Facebook who despite providing facts to them countless of times that they are not the first to win the title 3 consecutive times, they still go ahead to claim they are the one to achieve such feat. It is unfair.
I hope you get my argument bro. I don't understand this episode you wrote. I specified what i was referring to. Do you know the difference between NPL/NPFL and NL? If you know that, then you should have ended the argument by now. I ain't arguing who won more NL, so why the sermon? |
Sports › Re: Enyimba Fc Football Pitch by honeric01(mod): 10:18pm On Aug 25, 2015 |
Ajibel: Which kain talk be that? So are you saying trophies won by clubs "pre-NPFL" era according to you wont count
Your argument doesnt make sense. All this is just a change/modification of name.
You just jealous of the fact Enyimba has done it before your club, so it isn't a new thing to us I was very specific when i made my statement, just as it's always distinguished when talking about who won the EPL the most from who won the BPL. I was talking about the NPL/NPFL, if we're to talk about the league entirely from its inception, then i can boldly tell you that other clubs have done alot of multiple back to back winnings even before Enyimba smelt what is called a league cup. gerrit? If i was talking from the inception of the league, then we have a club like this: 1987 : Iwuanyanwu Nationale (Owerri) 1988 : Iwuanyanwu Nationale (Owerri) 1989 : Iwuanyanwu Nationale (Owerri) 1990 : Iwuanyanwu Nationale (Owerri) |

Bamz: It doesn't take an intelligent person to know everyone is entitled to their own opinions. That being said, in essence you're making a comparison between being a judge and being a referee:that's like comparing a commercial diver to an Olympic swimmer. In every job task, decisions have to be made. Talk about speed, I believe decisions made during driving, for example could be life threatening, but does it always take an intelligent person to drive? NO

Bamz: Ermm I believe some fields actually need brain to excel... Engineering, Law and some specialist fields. I'm not sure refereeing is for the erudite.
And if you're making reference to her brilliant performance, even a dancer can have a brilliant performance on stage, intelligence? NO Talent/flair? YES This comment is very unintelligent.. How many professions need less than 3 seconds to take decision on the go? do you think all the referee does is to blow his whistle anytime and anyhow? what do you even know about refereeing?. If intelligence is less needed in being an umpire, then judges in law court also need not be intelligent. Referees on the field of play are like judges in the law court. both apply intelligence and the law to arrive at each decisions they take and the former is damn faster in taking decisions than the latter. |

Enyimba has been guilty too infact all clubs have in one way or the other been guilty. True or false? Your response is going to decide my next response. |

uduokirika1: Which year? But that has not stopped Heartland from loosing home matches but d reverse have been d case with pillars until recently which I ve already acknowledged and commended. You are yet. To debunk my earlier assertion with facts using Heartland vs Enyimba as justification is just but diversionary At least we have no known record of Kano pillars beating any officials unlike the recorded one of Heartland and Enyimba. Except you can show us with fact and punishment gotten where KP beat any ref, then keep your endless rant to yourself. |

Krasid: Q&A Segment How do you feel about the 12 year streak being broken? Do Pillars stand any chance of retaining the league title? If not, do you see them getting a continental ticket? We've lost the league this season already, what's left is to try and finish 3rd because the 4th club won't get anything, wafu belongs to the winner of FA cup except of course the winner ends up in the top 3. We will come bouncing next season. |

Well, nothing last forever, it's now a record and let's see who can break this record in Africa or even the world over.
Welldone Nassarawa Utd.
Even though it wasn't shown on TV, they still won, so no one can use the issue of "winning because it wasn't on tv" as an excuse again.
If you're good enough, you'll win anywhere. |
