frank317: Stop feeling insulted and admit that ur displayed ur ignorance up there. U even laughed at Africans for being atheist because whites are atheists. What sort of ignorant statement is that?
He actually needed to speak to u that way so that next time u just don't spew any thing online. He is actually helping u and u need to thank him. Your view, not my view...100 people saying something right doesn't mean its really right What Is Atheism? No one asks this question enough. The reason no one asks this question a lot is because most people have preconceived ideas and notions about what an Atheist is and is not. Where these preconceived ideas come from varies, but they tend to evolve from theistic influences or other sources.Atheism is usually defined incorrectly as a belief system. Atheism is not a disbelief in gods or a denial of gods; it is a lack of belief in gods. Older dictionaries define atheism as "a beliefthat there is no God." Some dictionaries even go so far as to defineAtheism as "wickedness," "sinfulness,"and other derogatory adjectives. Clearly, theistic influence taints dictionaries. People cannot trust thesedictionaries to define atheism. The factthat dictionaries define Atheism as"there is no God" betrays the (mono)theistic influence. Without the (mono)theistic influence, the definitionwould at least read "there are no gods."Why should atheists allow theists to define who atheists are? Do other minorities allow the majority to define their character, views, and opinions? No, they do not. So why does everyoneexpect atheists to lie down and accept the definition placed upon them by theworld’s theists? Atheists will define themselves.Atheism is not a belief system nor is it a religion. While there are some religions that are atheistic (certain sects of Buddhism, for example), that does not mean that atheism is a religion. Two commonly used retorts to the nonsense that atheism is a religion are: 1) If atheism is a religion, then bald is a hair color, and 2) If atheism is a religion, then health is a disease. A new one introduced in 2012 by Bill Maher is, "If atheism is a religion, then abstinence is a sexual position."The only common thread that ties all atheists together is a lack of belief in gods and supernatural beings. Some of the best debates we have ever had have been with fellow atheists. This is because atheists do not have a common belief system, sacred scripture or atheist Pope. This means atheists often disagree on many issues and ideas.Atheists come in a variety of shapes, colors, beliefs, convictions, and backgrounds. We are as unique as our fingerprints. |

HardMirror: Are you sure you are not an illiterate? The human jaw can hold about 300kg bite force. What is 50kg bag of cement? This is just about using right technique so as not to injure the neck. So why can't everyone do it? Everyone can't do it, just as when I started doing press-ups I cld not do 10, but after months for doing press-ups everyday, I can now do 200 press-ups. The potential is there, but you have to wake your muscles up.
I advice you to apologize to your parents for wasting all the money they spent educating you.
What a pity You see me for dream?, picker, pick on the next person not me.Yes am an illiterate does it mean you pour out insults while educating "illiterates",well you just displayed like a dancing masquerade who chases kids and rapes women. But who 200 press up help sef? ,am a girl so its just natural to be marvelled, or you want to hate nature again Meanwhile I don't insults people, cos out of inferiority you just did, even though you intentionally picking on me,well next time Mr scholar you should know how to differentiate between a joke, argument or fact before coming to tell the world that hunger is making you read upsidedown |

You sound so tribalistic despite your wonderful write up, what makes you think everyone against something good is ipob? or everyone from south west supports APC(for instance) that's laughable and so myopic.
Its a good idea but we all know government and politicians are tricky, not with standing the tribe.
Everyday Nairaland loses members because of the high rate of ethnic bigotry present on the forum.
Even if its for once let's pick from other tribes, but no we always cross our legs, fold our arms and close our eyes to good news from other tribes.
